Fact 1: Jordan actually said in their most recent itw that they totally were going on with MCR influences on this song. Fact 2: The reason why they didn't put out any music for a long time was because they were working on the 3 upcoming EPs at the same time, and didn't want this one to be too heavy for a better contrast with the last one (for the record: this one will be pop-punk/emo, the 3rd one will be electronic/nihilist blues vibes, and the last one heavy metal). i like his facial expressions😂
Also super happy everyone else is hearing these MCR vibes and I'm not crazy! Lol. I was like why am I hearing MCR Danger Days era in this...
Going into this before seeing the original BMTH video was a wild experience and a half
Im naming this genre 'MCR but anime'
Bring Me The Horizon never disappoints. This song is a banger! :D
Fangirl promedio de bmth de 13 años😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
*respectful disagreement*
Nik watching BMTH = Singing is amazing
Nik watching AA = Dis-Gusting
I really enjoy BMTH’s Deathcore/Metalcore/Screaming or whatever you want to call it, but at the same time I’m really enjoying the direction they’ve been going since That’s The Spirit. Not gonna lie and say that every single song is my favorite, but I can honestly say that I do really enjoy listening and fully support!!
the cutest breakdown ever
Oddly enough, and in contrast to BMTH earliest works... they look to be enjoying themselves. It's quite the contrast to the serious theme of the music.
6:36 "For some reason thinks closing eyes makes hearing better"
Because it does. You're turning off one sense to focus up the others.
oliver usando portugues na letra me deixa
Eu ouvi um "amigo" ali no meio 😂
Glad I wasn't the only one who was reminded of MCR. Love this whole song
bmth can never do wrong, best band in the fucking world
found you on TikTok and you popped up on my homepage feed on my RUclips. you've got yourself a new subscriber. bmth is one of my favorite bands... this video wasn't THAT bad visually. if they could put it up on RUclips, I'm sure you would've been fine lol.
This song will not be in my top, but it's nice to hear this vibe from my teenage years in it :D
M-Emo totally had me in the end. Nice video Nik. Chucka Chucka!
I cannot believe this is the same band that wrote Count Your Blessings almost twenty years ago 😢
You hate to see it.
An Andrew stan has no saying at all on anything.
Yeah its sad thats that what they wrote 20 years ago, theyre so much better now tho so thats better
The chorus be like: bring me the chemical romance 😁
And the breakdown: bring me the miku 😄
I never thought I would live to see the day where BMTH is about as heavy Machine Gun Kelly.
It's not a bad thing...
Happened back in 2019 when they did amo, don’t really know why it’s a surprise
I like how he managed to look away and fiddle with his guitar during the double booba suckle moment
Bro, im 31 and This sent me waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back to my good old times. I love this. That break down was immaculate
The I'm Not Okay (I Promise) of this generation in the best way possible!
From their three most recent releases, this one is definitely the best. Die4u was not bad, Strangers was good, this one is great imo.
Sure it might not be as good as the first Post Human, but that’s also straight up god tier masterpiece. I love that they change it up constantly and always have us guessing what they’ll do next. Also the breakdown slaps hard
"God tier masterpiece" 😂
that sudden "watching evangelion" made me laugh so much it was so unexpected
Ive been referring to this newer "modern emo" genre thats been emerging as "NuPunk" because it combines elements of NuMetal (Metal crossed with hiphop) with elements of EmoTrap (PopPunk/Emo crossed with Trap, which itself shares elements with dubstep and hyperpop influenced by Metal), both of which are already mush-up genres that combine elements of other more straightforward genres
100% MCR in that chorus, I'm here for it.
I think they finally managed to find the style that fits them the best, at least in my opinion
i mean sure, BMTH isnt as hard now but man, they're just really good at whatever genre their song is
You didn’t show the chicks breast feeding the guy lol Damn YT
That part slaps lol
fun fact (at least im sure this is true) the song IS in Drop A# tuning and the intial opening guitar riff is 7's 4's 11's and 12's
