*I am actually watching the music video but the previous video i uploaded got blocked, but anyways here is more of my dumb face*
*SMASH that like button because breakdowns are awesome*
Copyright sucks
That's so dumb
Nik just has perpetual bad luck with copyright, the problems of being a multimedia RUclips channel I guess man
this is so sad
why does youtube have to do this to you bro?
Fun fact: the opening choir is singing a Bulgarian folk song called: Ерген Деда... and it's about a dude trying to join a local dance and everybody runs away from him. Source: am Bulgarian.
Cried when I first heard it!!! Хехехе, тук смее
That makes sense that it was included then, since the song talks about disease! haha
Can't argue with facts. You even put a source
В момента в който чух това бях много учуден. Викам си абе струва ли ми се или това е нещо българско.
Dude that's so sick!!!
Oli : " Please Remain Calm"
Nik : " I'm trying dude but you're hyping me up"
Exactly, like wtf am I supposed to do
I’m very satisfied that I read this comment exactly in time with how it happened in the video
@@Julian-fy6si same same
Mick Gordon, the composer of the last 2 DOOM games, co-produced this track!
REALLY? Holy shit I loved that OST
I love how it’s overly obvious too. I love it.
The style of Mick is pretty notorious in this song bro
I had heard he would be helping out on this, and I kinda expected more knowing that tbh
I feel like if you want your track to slam, have Mick Gordon mix it.
‘I want some heavy’
If that isn’t a mood I don’t know what is
Hevy is lyfe
Best comment evet
Bmth has a good form, but I think northlane is on par with em in musical writing skills and vision
@@NikNocturnal we luv hevy
@@dicephalous9076 3 months late, but I just wanted to say that Alien is better than anything BMTH has ever put out. Imo.
“0’s and 1’s Binary,, All Day” 😂😂
when he said that I started laughing so hard 😂😂😂
Ik, he got me there too 🤣🤣🤣
Anyone thought about Binarycore?
Dennis Kohlmann it’s called Djent. Or mathcore lol
i laughed so hard too hahahahahaha
Honestly, BMTH is the closest and best thing we have to a modernized version of early 2000s Linkin Park

They dominated deathcore, then metalcore, then just plain ol' rock, then pop, and now ALL AT THE SAME TIME
They didn't dominate shit, calm down.

Yes
Personally i like this direction. excited to hear the rest of the album.
There is no álbum
They just gonna release some songs and that's it
@@brunopragosa9308 no, they said, they said they want to make like EPs and smaller records but not 50 min 12 Song albums
Personally I am one for electronics in songs, but I just dont like it if it's "too much" (like modern mainstream). BMTH is that nice middle area. Heavy and electronic so it's perfect
They are giving me linking park vibes
@@brunopragosa9308 they already said there will be albums with like techno and rock songs on them.
I love this sound for bmth. This suits them so much. Their old heavy days are well behind them, it's great that they keep small elements of heaviness to this new sound though.
I agree. I just appreciate that they're doing what they love _now_ (and that they do it so well and creatively) and I actually really like all the newest songs. But gotta say I was never an elitist anyway, I just happily accepted the development
I always listen to a bands first album and compare it too their last From Pray For Plagues to this???? I hate this band
@@heinrichjohnson684 Well yeah you're a metal purist so you're nitpicky and biased bye bye you lose
@@heinrichjohnson684 that's the great thing about music. It doesn't disappear after you listen to it, you can always go back and listen to pray for plagues all you want
Love their new sound!
Bring me the Horizon will be looked at as pioneers when all is said and done. The transition this band has gone through is some of the most versatile and creative transitions I've ever seen. Oli is easily in my top 5 for metal front men. The whole band is fantastic. Can't wait for the next album.
Definitely agree. At first I didn’t like their direction but with more listens, they’re really bringing in some interesting influences and tie them together in a cohesive manner. They are keeping their old energy which makes everything really work!
@@ckokomo808 This is why they are one of my all-time favourite metal band!
You know I used to be really judgemental on BMTH when Amo came out but you know what? They write great music regardless of genre. I just had to get over that. I love all of their stuff now. They f*cking rock! Metal or not. 🤘🤘
Well said 👏🏻
they are great band, but rock/metal? nah dude
Thank you! Someone finally said it! Elitists need to stop being so shallow
This comment deserves all the likes
Agreed, they don't get enough credit as songwriters. I've grown out of my elitist phase. I genuinely like this song.
when i heard the chant/choir intro, i was like "shit, is this shadow moses/sempiternal sound-ish they're reviving it".
Didn't expect Nik to start the video with a grunt but I'm not complaining.
Just extra hyped

Thanks for this comment god damn that shit goes hard
Thank you! :D
"Yeah scream man ... I'm good with that"
Aren't we all 😢😢😭😭👍🏻
^^
*YES*
BMTH is becoming the king of good breakdowns and in all honesty hyping up a good finale to every song. Ludens and Parasite eve both prove that very well. Let’s go for 3!!
they better at doing it since suicide season bruh
BMTH have been breakdown royalty since the very beginning
while I love the entire song, I feel like both pre-chorus (very Doom'ish) are the best part for me, you can feel the amazing work of Mick Gordon building an electronic tension like I rarely heard before, until an explosive and catchy chorus drops. They don't need to make super-hardcore music to be great.
Mick Gordon is a beast
I couldn’t agree more with what you said
Breachhh
Bring Me The Horizon is a great band, this song goes hard af
not really but i agree BMTH is a pretty awesome band
Just Some Guy without a Mustache not really lmao
They're pushing boundaries no one else has before. People may criticise them for 'going soft' yet they're bigger risk takers than the vast majority of heavier artists. I love them, and this song so much :)
STOP FOLLOWING ME DEMON
Love the pfp bro👌
Jordan Fish gets nowhere near the recognition he deserves for what he brings to the table
I dunno, anyone in the bmth fan circles knows full well Jordan is the reason for this direction. Fans either love the direction Jordan has brought to the table, or absolutely hate it.

You're not getting a single Bring Me album this year.
You're getting 4.
well, it's a 4 part not 4 albums
I must've misread it. But Oli said in an interview that they wanted to make 4 albums this year.
El AguaKte *EPs
El AguaKte in the interview it was stated that each ep will be 6-10 tracks each
It could be considered 4 albums , since it's between 6 and 10 tracks each. TTS was 11... Anyways, no matter the word, we're getting lots of material this year!
I thought he was being sarcastic when he said he dug the music video because I'm only seeing this image. Then I realized it was a reupload. Silly RUclips world we live in.
So is BMTH just doing songs based on video games a bunch now? We had Shadow Moses years ago but now we've had Ludens and Parasite Eve back to back. I ain't complaining this is dope
Kingslayer is about COD
Someone needs to hire BMTH to score/do a full on video game soundtrack!
I just want some heavy, that's all
Me: Prepare to be disappointed.
@@Ayrdanger 1:59 and 3:52: allow us to introduce ourselves
You'll probably be disappointed if you're wanting a return to deathcore, but if Ludens and this are any indicator I think we'll be getting more heavy than on the more recent releases
Same.
@@colwellalec I genuinely think that if this album goes on like this it's gonna be just incredible, a unique masterpiece , genre name "bmth", both pop and metal, it's incredible

@@shittyhaircut Here we go again!
"Please God, release an album of this." Never have truer words been spoken. An album of high level breakdowns, yes please.
My only gripe with the song is before the breakdown the 'warrrr' shouldve been a deathmetal scream like on ludens
I kinda liked the Chester (Linken Park) ish type of scream there. Almost felt like a tribute to him
I am huge fan of their new direction in music path.I can’t describe my enthusiasm about this. Song, more pop things with great chorus and breakdown.I listen to them since 2011 and I can really say that they are doing great job since 2015 (that’s the spirit release year).Huge fan of all previous albums but they are going into next level with their new style.Such a powerful song imagine this song hits arenas and festivals.PEOPLE WILL GO CRAZY 100000%. GJ GUYS CONTINUE LIKE THIS EVOLVE ....
Looks like they did it with Mick Gordon, his insta teased it couple days ago
The guitars on the breakdown sound a lot like Mick ngl
They upload their progress on their channel since quarantine started, it's a lovely process to witness ❤️
Yeah Mick Gordon helped produce it :)
3:53 yahhhh 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😎🖤 I love your reactions 🇧🇷
Mark my words, when they play a live show again, this is gonna be the opener, with that intro, maybe extended a little, but this would work so well.
The reacts to other peoples fav songs is just complete VIBES!!! I mean my fav is this and can you feel my heart. Those are my fav rock songs. I know it takes ALOT to impress me!
Totally agree with you on it not feeling like five minutes. Played it for my mom and she was like "it's over already? Play it again"
Bro they’re gonna succeed on bringing metal into the mainstream. I’m calling it
Very “poppy”. Metal needs this, experimentation, modernization... The Metal is dead, long live the Metal!
Do you people even listen to music. There's plenty of metal that's been released just in the past few months. More than enough.
Do you listen to Poppy?
elitists are crap, but does metal really have to evolve in this direction?? 😬😬 What's up with death metal, thrash metal, groove metal, I would honestly hate if all metal was like this
@@minuscaseus Really? This sound is getting mainstream.
Nililist blues, ludens and paradise Eve is the future of BMTH and I am here for it
I haven’t listened to it yet, I’m not even going to watch your vid as of now, I just wanted to pop by to say that your face in the thumbnail has me excited to give it a listen XD.
Tru Raven how was it lmao
kale Fucking awesome!
I enjoy your reactions so much, no 5-minute-talking about irrelevant stuff before the actual video starts, no constant pausing in the middle of breakdowns, just pure emotion and authencicity! Keep it going, we're here for it ❤️
"If this doesn't POP, I will actually cry."
Even though I knew what was coming, I actually wanted to see Nik cry, oh man...
AS SOON AS I WATCHED THE VIDEO I SEARCHED FOR YOUR REACTION. It wasn’t here when I searched earlier, so glad you reacted. I wanted so badly to see you react.
Mick Gordon co-produced this track and he's working with them for the album. And I'm here for it.
I've really enjoyed watching reaction channels reacting to new music that I love and out of all of them I rate you amongst the best. Keep up the good work dude!
This reaction is a masterpiece...
The reaction just seems so contrived? It’s obnoxious and not believable?
Those subtitles are hilarious omg, i enjoy the music and laugh like a child with these. Amazing Nik.
Was here before the reupload.
Same, had to get a Vpn to watch lol
You a legend
I have watched this reaction video about 10 times just because when that shit POPZ your reaction is killer every time 🤘🤘🤘 absolutely dig this song.
The last breakdown gave me goosebumps ngl
In an interview w NME Oli said it’s a continuation off Ludens, love the reaction and this song! Amazing to have watched a lot of the BTS videos and see how it came together in the end, if you haven’t watched the behind the scenes for how they filmed the music video it’s super cool. Also Brian Cox is the one doing most if not all of their media/tour work.
3:27 lol that’s just mick gordon going full doom mode
Well. You started talking about the cool phrygian twist. And I had no idea what that was at the time. But I'm back to finish the video now 20 minutes later and I know what you're talking about now. So thanks for that. :D
Yes!!! Let me see this again
👋
uh hi :P
oh my days. my good old days when i first discovered metal. it all started with these songs. some bring me the horizon then some Veil... good days :)
The abyss was fire 🔥 this song was Dece 👌🏻they collaborated with Mick Gordon too!
this song gives me a physical reaction. i cry, shake and have goosebumps everywhere. I don't know what's about this
I'd be happy if they stay with the sound they used on Ludens and this one, it's somewhere between TTS, Amo with a bit of Sempiternal.
I’m so obsessed with this song, the music video was sick. Used to play Parasite Eve as like a 10 year old on my dads OG PlayStation, love that they threw in some visual references from the video game.
When the song was in the part "Please remain calm" I was like him hahahahahaha, love your vids!!! greetings from Peru :)
Your smile as it kicks off. It's an unexpected vibe of a song
It kinda makes me think of what direction I'd love Linkin Park to go, if Chester was stil alive. Especially the bridge gives me a lot of old-but-kinda-modernized LP vibes. Love it.
Honestly you should watch the RUclips series of the making of the song and video they done in quarantine it really sheds some light on them going back to their roots
I totally dig this new direction.
I have something like when I hear their song for a very first time I'm so confused how many different styles, sounds are mixed and then I'm listening again and I just can't stop, coz it hits
I love your reactions no one else seems to go in as much depth as you. Could you check out panic by from ashes to new I think you'll like it
This track is absolutely amazing. It's got everything. These boys are showing why they are Chester era Linkin Park's successors. They gave a time for us to heal and then came out with such intensity and such great sound diversity. I love the direction they are guiding the industry.
Nik needed a cig after that breakdown.
I’m so glad you reuploaded! I couldn't finish your first reaction and I was so disappointed when it got blocked. But here we are anyways! I love it. And love the song, been vibing since it’s got released. So good.
Does anyone remember the ps1 game “Parasite Eve”?
I just picture people spontaneously combusting to the music.
They did actually take the name from the PS1 game. The singer has said as much.
This is the comment I came for!
For some reason I can imagine this going great with Danganronpa 2's Chapter 3, aka the bad one that everyone remembers. Honestly would probably make the entire thing better. Hajime is Oli and Mikan is the girl voice from the first pre-chorus.
Been a fan of bmth since Sempiternal and everything they have released since has always been something I have to listen to with the intent of knowing it could sound 100 different ways. And tbh I like that about them. And if their new sound is Ludens and this I am fully on board as many seem to be. They have found their own lane. Good jobs lads!! Also love the video Nikk 😂
02:04 "0's and 1's ! Binary! All day!" 😂
Fun fact, one of the guitarists lives in LA so he had to get film separately from the rest of the band, and they were all isolated during filming.
And a “album” is coming. However Oli said it was going to be more like four EP’s of 6 to 10 songs each rather than one long album.
The only band that can make you doubt if it is them that you are actually listening to.
Nik.....when everyone can travel again, and when you get the chance, you should head to Tassie, Australia man. Myself, and the Mrs would love to show you around our home state, and shout the beers along the way!
I knew that this song would be sick since I like literally every style BMTH did so far? Even GO~TO was cool to me. But this was straight out insane. Wonderful.
You get me feelin a song like nothing else dude. I love watching these with all my heart.
Breakdown, please be a breakdown!
Edit: we got breakdowns and growls again. I’m crying. Their back! THE BOYS ARE BACK!!!

Your reactions are the fucking best! I was cracking up at that breakdown part!! Never stop
Thank god, I was scared I wouldn't be able to watch this.
I watched the premiere last night and I really enjoyed it. I was worried i wouldn't like it, like what they released a few months back. But i love it, and even my mum likes it, which is very strange since she rarely listens to them
I swear i reacted the same exact way on the breakdown 😂
I was like "DONT FUCKEN PLAY WITH MY EMOTIONS"!!! 😭🔥
Goddamn, BMTH is coming back! this is the happiest thing that happened this year!
I said it on the first upload and I’ll say it again this is what some songs on Amo should have been
Eh I like amo for what it is, and now we have both amo and this. Best of both worlds
NICK GURR Oh yea I’m not saying I hate amo and it’s the worst thing to ever exist, I’m just saying that maybe they could’ve had a song like this
amo was completely experimental in my opinion. They mixed a lot of stuff in that album, and they decided that something along the lines of Ludens was the way to go. And man I love they took the time to experiment and give us these two amazing songs! I'm really excited for what's coming in the future
Francisco Gallego Salido I take amo as more as them taking a break and trying new things, but now they experimenting but going all fucking in
Great review... very detailed. Also, I'm like.... suuuper late to the party but, this video is sick, and the crazy part is that it was shot remotely during the pandemic. Everyone was in different places and so they had to get equipment and costume pieces etc. shipped around the world from LA to UK and back to get the "feel" right between shots.
Last but not least, the videographer you complimented... it was Olly. Or if he didnt do the videography he edited it.
But yeah... fucking sick song. I was right with you when your were praying for a breakdown. I have never wanted a breakdown so badly in my life, and I think that is a testament to their skill as musicians in giving you a tease and making you WANT the breakdown (which is something I think a lot of bands dont fully understand).
BMTH was never my favorite band, but they are quickly trying to punch their way into that spot.
the beginning sounds like the music that Carolina Crown used for their 2019 show lmao.
Holy shit! Small world!
There is an Italian band that has a song called "pippero". They hired a bulgarian choir for some bits of the song. They band does a comedy style of music a-la-frank zappa. When I heard the beginning of the song I laughed my ass thinking about the Italian song. The song is about the bulgarian secret service wanting to trade a Ramaya vynil in exchange of the Bulgarian dance hit "pippero". LOL
Oh man I love your reaction. This deserve a million of views by the bmth family!!
Wait, what? Did Mick Gordon really worked on this? Man, I honestly loved this track, even more now
I love the video. There was also a behind the scenes on the video uploaded!
