I am probably the only one trying to play along on a baritone ukulele which has the same DGBE strings as the acoustic guitar. I would get a lot more out of this lesson if he said the note as well as the finger position. for instance "play a D using the 3rd fret on the B string."
Hey I have a question, do we need to use fingers or can I use a pick? Cuz it sounds so much better with a pick than with my fingers but then I FEEL the guitar when I use my fingers, it's a part of me.. but it doesn't sound as good as using a pick.. what do I do?
Hey Shirish! There's no general rule really! Just use what you feel like using, it's nice to have that flexibility when playing the guitar. Keep on playing!

Took me a few times to realize he is talking about the fingers he is plucking the strings with not the fingers on the frets. I thought ring was British for open. Ring is the finger fiancees get an engagement token on. Middle is the one we flip off with. The Blokes use a backward peace sign with thumb up for that move.
