@@Sred97 Yup… We all have our strengths and weaknesses. I can play nerve wrecking riffs and licks all day, but I really want to play something beautiful occasionally.
This is how I learned to play songs and compose new ones on my nylon string acoustical Guild. Fingertips, no nails. Fantastic melody. I'm a total beginner. I have had an acoustic guitar for 1 week and once I learn the basics and chords I want to learn it. It is beautiful. It sounds wonderful on both classical and acoustic guitar. You made my day. I'll have this tune in my head for the rest of the day (or at least a good part of it).
entirely new to fingerpicking, i just feel like i need that kind of "freedom" on my guitar. after watching so many tutorials, and putting my guitar down a few times, this video has definitely been the most helpful so far! i think a lot of these comments don't understand that you're SUPPOSED to pause and rewind the video, write the chords down or do whatever to interact with what you're playing, apart from just playing it. it's good to play this until it's boring! so far, i have found no other techniques/practices that strengthen the independence of each finger as i understand it. thanks for the amazing tutorial!

Hello Marco from the US. I'm already at this stage in my playing but I like visiting your channel. Even though I'm already at this level, I take away something fresh from you every time. If people took the time to go through your lessons, they would get much better than most guitar players out there and very quickly. Well done and thank you. I'm tragically broke at the moment, but when I can, I will support you and your channel. Brother Marco, thanks you for your finger picking videos, I know that your fan base has already drowned you with thanks, but I have learned so much from you, looking forward to see you hit the Big 1Million, Peace Be Unto You.
Great video! I just started guitar and decided to learn fingerstyle after learning the basic chords. Loved the patterns here and will definitely be using this to practise!
I've been playing for about a year and decided to start learning finger-style/picking. Thanks for this video! This is a great piece that I can incorporate into my routine. I signed up on your Patreon so that I could download the guitar tab.
Brilliant video ! Love it. I find it hilarious how experienced guitar players define “beginner”. I think at times they can’t remember how it feels to play a major chord without dead or buzzing strings 😂. Nonetheless I am a beginner and I’m going to work my way through this video…..aim high right. Brilliant and thank you for this video !
Marco, I always enjoy your lessons. It seems you have the same problem that I have been battling all my life which is a scratching sound from the fingernail of the index finger when it's used on a wound string. Glad to know I'm not the only one. 🐸
Guys the secret to not raging is literally feel what you're playing. Feel every bit of improvements and feel the calmness fill your mind (not recommended for metal players)
I love the melody both on classical and acoustic guitar. I'm am a beginner with an acoustic guitar and would be glad to know some tips on using fingering clips. I bought them few days back and still have confusion in using them.. please help me someone..
Hello Marco; I really enjoyed your finger-picking lesson it was very clear and educational I really appreciate it. I loved your sound , can you please tell me what microphone you use to record your sound. I appreciate it, thank you Ed Mac
Hi Marco, thanks for your great work! Hope you don't mind a somewhat off topic question... in your produced videos, you switch back and forth between a talking + holding the guitar view and a close up on the fretboard view. My question is "Are you using two cameras, are you recording twice with the same camera, or something else?" Thanks!
tysm for the tutorial. although i used to play fingerstyle but realised i was doing it in a different way than this. okay so, can you please tell me if i need to have bigger nails on my index, middle and ring finger as well? i actually tried playing with fingertips without nails but the sound was pretty.... warm and less bright. it didnt sound too good. what do i do?
Bro ! I play pima, learned different chromatic scales, penta-scales but the melody had been the big issue, but this video was just a boom. If you can make a video on chords over melody ( a simple one)

Ciao Marco! After watching this video, I went and purchased your program “Practical Fingerstyle”. However, after the third stage, the lessons became a little too classical for my taste. Do you have any programs about “cool exercises” like this that aren’t extremely hard to play, but they sound awesome? Thank you
