It can feel like by accepting the compliment you’re boasting yourself. chuckman321 I think humble people tend to get awkward when they receive praise or compliments in general, even a “thank you” can be hard to say to someone giving a compliment. It can feel like by accepting the compliment you’re boasting yourself. In my opinion, his social awkwardness towards praise and such is just another example showing him to be humble and down to earth.
