Just installed on the built EFI 408 Windsor in my '69 Mustang fastback. Took a few hours to pull out 89 Fox engine harness and install terminator x. Fired right up!! Love it. Trying to get this beast to run well with a 30 year old Fox ECU/control and QuarterHorse was driving me nuts. So many variables and tables to estimate and update just to account for the displacement change.
This is definitely my next mod! Ordered a On3 turbo kit April 6th which is on back order. Got my car back today from getting the 306 built but my wiring harness is a MESS! This is the perfect I’ll just pull my old harness and toss it and this will allow me to remote tune and I can get a tune from y’all’s site which will alllow me to drive it. It’s literally perfect I just need money if anyone wants to help lol. I’ll dance y’all’s wedding.
orderd my on 3 kit on christmas and got it in march but i also have this system but yesterday no luck getting to fire up huge upset i waana learn the holley first then add boost was just gonna have email tunes with the sctx4 but didnt want a blame game if somthing bad hapend good luck tho
@@chrismcmullen9557 I finally got my On3 kit. Shipping still shows it’s not shipped so idk what the deal is. I’m like 90% sure my Ecu is bad. I repinned it for the Mass air and I installed a new Ignition switch, New natural safety switch, new battery, new starter Solenoid. It won’t do anything at all with the key. Won’t turn over Or even try to crank. It will turn over using a screwdriver on the starter Solenoid. The terminatorX will solve so many issues im having with my foxbody. Will solve the Ecu and will solve the electrical issue which could be something bad in my wiring harness. It’s Plug and play.
The Fox Platform kit 550-937F has been discontinued, so you would have to use 550-937. There are a few differences. I would think you could use a LS style throttle body and the kit for the 937F, it used the LS3 map sensor harness. Please keep it Ford powered.
Can the engine run without the MAT sensor installed? Just bought the terminator x max and I didn’t see one in box. Can sensor just hang in the meantime if purchased to fire up engine?
installed my term x for 4,6 over weekend and did tps setup then wizard set ci then liters and 42lbs injectors set psi to 43 and coulnt get it to fire. didnt bring my laptop to shop because i was told by u guys the 3.5 will get it running but as it was cranking where is sais stall it kept jumping to somthing else and back to stall quickly i seen videos of other guys instanly giving an rpm reading before the engine was running is my crank sensor bad worked fine with stock ecu friday wheni pulled into my shop but no run yesterday and spending what i did for pro dash and can bus splitter wire and wire for laptop hookup its a huge bummer. can my fuel and oil sensors i got from another company work even tho there 0 to 150psi sorry im broke after turbokit and term x efi and complete fuel system crazy prices for same sensors others are getting to work
I would be confident by now you have this engine running. Yes you can get the engine running on the 3.5. Pro dashes are expensive. There are people on RUclips showing how to hook up a tablet instead. Yes your other sensors from another company will work. If a product is not listed in the drop down, you can configure them with the laptop. Adding aftermarket products that we get suckered into buying, we should have just bought a new Mustang.
Holley can u please revise the instructions included to install on 99 to 04 mustangs not send instructions for LS chevy motors i know they may not be popular but to send me directions for everything but the 4.6 is kinda bullcrap, esp being HOLLEY
Chevrolet does not make LS engines. The Chevrolet engine name disappeared after 1991. 1992-2015, GM engines fell under GM Powertrain. 2016, GM Global Propulsion Systems. I do believe it has recently changed again.
Too bad you guys discontinued the fox-specific kit. Not sure why you couldn't just label as "For offroad use only" to get around EPA bullshit and continue to sell it?
It was already labeled as such. This part is legal for sale and use on Uncontrolled (Non-Emissions Controlled) Vehicles. My opinion is Ford guru Matt from Leech Motorsports was suggesting to Holley how they can make the program much simpler for the IAC for example. He was offering his assistance and they did not appreciate it. Here is a link that you may find interesting though. ruclips.net/video/BGl7XBgkEG4/видео.html
This video is kind of silly. Doesn’t show what the install might be like for someone with a stock efi engine. Kinda what this unit was intended for no?
I was going to say - this is the best installation video EVER! Then, realized this was put together by Holley - No Wonder!!! 👏👏👏👏

Very helpful and perfect timing for setting up my new kit, Thanks! Props for keeping ford in your boosted project👊
Did you use the MAP sensor adapter harness? I just got mine and the weather pack end has the wrong connectors inside.
@@nitroustommy mine didn’t connect either, luckily i had (gm) map sensor from another project and it snapped right in👍
Also since it has boost control built in, common decency kinda dictates you add a turbo. It's just common decency.

That's my dream setup, definitely going to be a beast.
What do you have for a 540” Boss 9 based engine with twin turbos?
Does the red/white 12v wire give power to the fuse block?
My term x kit didn’t come with the two sensors that this guy said holly included
Can we get a video like this for the 4.6 4v
I'm waiting for one too
So if I wasn't using the fuel pump controller would I just connect output 4 to the relay box instead?
What tps sensor did u use part number please
Where can I find this guy earl ? So get his parts for installation
Would this work on a ‘67 mustang 289…..with a similar intake and LS style throttle body and ls3 map sensor??….or should i just LS swap it

Looking good team holley efi. Cant wait to see about this coil near plug set up.

Wow. I was looking into this for my truck 5.8L. After watching this video I am completely overwhelmed and realize this will not be in my price range.
Will this work on a 4.6
I’ve seen a dedicated Terminator X kit for the 4.6. The “Max” works with Auto trans. I’ll be installing it on my 98 Mustang.
@@robgonzo10 i want to put one on my crown victoria lx
@@robgonzo10 you have a link for it
its suposed to but when u get the kit there is no directions for ford 4.6 just chevy and old school fords
What’s the cost on all this?
Can I use this terminator x for data logging only on a blowthrough Windsor setup
Yes.
@@Olds_Pwr thank you so much
Hey since you wont need the digital box and ignition anymore id be happy to take it off your hands!
Pro-M EFI is easier to install, with less splicing of connectors. Thus a cleaner install and it comes with a firewall grommet for a factory look.
I am all for simpler but it probably comes down to the tuner and if he is knowledgeable with that system.

Never seen anyone mount a intake backwards on purpose before

Wait, don't Ford owners run carbs or an LS?
Nah that’s Chevy guys who actually love foxbodys.

Tighten it till it strips back it off 1/2 turn ! Chinese instructions
Will this work with a 2000 5.0 that has factory cam sync. and ignition coils?
