Do I really need the $1500 cdi box? I would rather just be able to use LS coils so I can just pick up new ones at any local parts store or junkyard. I just want to ditch the TFI junk and go DIS. I don't see why a forced induction application would need 47bagillon giga volts of power
trying to find this out myself. i was under the impression that if you have a terminator x and cam sync you can run LS coils with no additional parts from holley
Hey Ray would love to know more about this cars build . if you could please reply to this with some links more about the car i would be greatly appreciative . I seen most or all the videos about the term x install already . would like to know more about the engine build and where to purchase the plumbing for the supercharger . thanks in advance .
Is this really necessary to run coil near plug set up? Or is there another way to run cnp on the ford engine and run the stock x36 tooth crank trigger and cam sensor like the stock explorer 5.0?
The PRO-M EFI is much easier to do a coil on plug set-up, extra box not needed. Just spec out coil on plug set-up and you get the correct harness for the job. This Terminator X once done will look like a rats nest with all of the harnesses running all over the place.
Basically, this is a low-key LS conversion. Clever.

Holley freaking rules!
Is the same Hall effect sensor that comes with the crank trigger used or does it need to be a different one?

Yeah holley is junk but the ls kids love this stuff
Seems holley's 20+ years to late.
