I love the Jug to bits, and I'm always thrilled to see you fly it and succeed with it
I enjoy the Jug. To me it's like the musclecar of fighters with it's unique gauge and control layout. Opening up the supercharger lever and hearing it wind up and whine is too much fun.
It's nice to see you give the P-47 some love.
Glad to see you in the Jug, my fav of all times with the 190, not many people fly it, every time I have a chance to make me a time to fly in IL2, is almos the only plane I pick up, enjoyed the sortie, good flight.

Love the 47 i was taking it as a point defense fighter in the last taw breaking up attacks on friendly objectives near are base. It’s surprisingly agile with no gas in it and 4 fifty cals lol

Sheriff, can you explain how you approach fighting in a P-47? How do you go about utilising its stronger points and avoiding its weaker aspects?
I try to stay fast
I try to avoid climbing in the target area
I carefully pick my fights, try to surprise people and have ample energy to get out again.
I bring friends, ideally a lot of them and in different aircraft (Spitfires and Mustangs are a nice complement to the Thunderbolts)

Wish I could play, big issue with the gtx cards where the game soft locks your computer. Havnt been able to hop on in months

It’s such a wonderful experience in DCS.
I dont think its underpowered performance wise.
@@SheriffsSimShack Sorry but I disagree, The 47 in IL-2 is weak, very weak, everything about the 47 in IL-2 is just bad. Sounds like a moped. I tried flying it in IL-2 a number of times after flying it in DCS and 2 totally different birds. I got one shot in the engine and it died, Complete BS. It's really disheartening to fly.
@@grahamshere I don't think DCS warbirds is the standard to judge by. Maybe use war thunder instead ;)
