- Flying the Spitfire Mk IX and bringing the 150 octane version to the channel for the first time. Best climbing aircraft in the game. You just have to be careful not to turn to much. Otherwise you tire the pilot very quickly.

Sooooo Id like to clear up why you would pick the town...... Lets chalk it up to severe intoxication....lmao I had just returned from an afternoon at my favorite pub and was feeling flighty.... I'm pretty ashamed I forgot to pickle the bomb thought I had dropped it. I aimed for the town because that was closest friendly lines trying to make it back when I realized I could not make it I was aiming for a field just outside of town without trees and thought I was gonna make it.... until the roof!!! lmao I did not even see that damn roof coming scared the shit out of me.... I then promptly cracked another beer and took off again lol And that kids is why you don't fly drunk! HAHA glad I could contribute to the video in a special way! Didn't even realize that was me until I remembered dersheriff downed me and I hit a roof! lol Keep up the great videos Sheriff.....

Can you think of why it seems that I can see targets way easier on your videos, even when low on the deck etc, than on my game? I'm running highest settings and gamma at 0.8.

You can assign buttons only for weapon group 1 or 2. 1 for (H)MG and 2 for cannons.

I often have difficulty playing this game as I come from being used to DCS's controls and the abundance of customization with axis controls. Most of my problems originate with even slight movements of the pitch will cause my aircraft to bounce around which is not fun when lining up on a target. I do use the curvatures in game but they do not seem to make enough of a difference. I use the Logitech X56. Would you mind making a short video on how you setup your axis controls?
I have not touched my axis controls. My input is linear.

Hello I was hoping you could help me with a question. I currently have IL 2 via Steam. I see the sale prices direct from the creators website are really good. I don't care for the whole Steam complications. Can I delete my Steam game somehow and just start over with the website direct game?
You can just buy stuff from the page with your current account and can add stuff from the official page

What is the purpose of clipped wings on the spitfire? Is it just for reduced weight? And is there any downside like losing aerodynamics?
Mainly for a faster rollrate and a little more speed. There arent many downsides. The aircraft turns a bit less well. Which means that the best turning aircraft is still the best with a ever so slightly reduced margin.
I flew spitM9 against k4 in quick mission today and no contest; spit easily outperforms k4
in all honestly the quick mission is not a proper test. The K-4 is the better plane overall.
Il-2 bots are the stupidest bots ever. They just dont put up a fight
The K-4 is a fast boy. And it's supposed to be just that. The engine is heavy, forget about maneuvering. The K-4 is better, but for instance I find myself unable to maximize its performance.

@@hog8035 hard to say. maybe you are flying the Vb which has less room to look around. Maybe you have t adjust your axis on TIR. I dont know

Tempest is just very fast.that helps :D
Just for the record; to "ditch" is to attempt to put your aircraft down on a body of water. It isn't the same thing as bailing out and nor is it an emergency landing. Sorry, but these things matter.

Just as Feedback, your videos are particularly quiet.
As in when I take a look at my Volume Mixer it doesn´t even go up to 25% at 100% output.
Would appreciate it if there were something you could do about this.
I don´t really know how complicated it would be to add a few DB to the video, but that would be awesome.
I take a look at it. However Premiere shows me normal volume levels. But I could see if I can boost things
