Put the Rate/Feedback on 75% with the fuzz on, push the FX-order switch in and out, and see what happens.

Another thing I discovered while working on this video is that the delay effect is always coloring your tone, even if the blend is on zero and no repeats are audible. There's a volume boost happening, and a little bit of EQ warmth. (You could think of it as the Echoplex-preamp sound, sort of.) I left this out of the video to keep it short, but for a while I was thinking of giving a Pro-Tip #0, which would be to leave the pedal on all the time, just to get the benefit of that delay color. Instead of turning it off, just reduce the blend to zero.
Yep. The V2 colours the tone more than the V1 (idk why). I've owned both.

I just spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to figure out which 90s video game Pro-Tip #2's music came from.
I finally remembered it was Chun-Li's theme, but not before I listened to every track on the Chrono Trigger, FFVI, and Civ1 soundtracks trying to find it.

Keeley Dark Side V1 was one of my first pedals, acquired about 20 years into hobbyist musicianship, but this is far from being the first video of yours I’ve enjoyed; it’s nice that an early pedal and a later viewing have finally joined forces for me, and after I’d recently been using my somewhat neglected (but still beloved) Dark Side, no less.

@@CyberattackWorld Because the V1 has the TRS breakout that allows the two sides to be used independently, I discovered that one of my favorite sounds is to run a DOD Carcosa fuzz into Dark Side’s Univibe. I don’t know how hardcore and/or advanced that is, but I mention it out of my affinity for your spirit and practice of doing the unusual and exploring new territory. Now I have to turn my dozen+ synths, iPad with Korg Gadget, et al. into an OP-1, so I don’t need to feel like I “should” get an OP-1.
That’s awesome and I wish you luck on your quest to glitch your existing gear into op-1 territory, that sounds like an awesome project

I picked up an Alexander Syntax Error 2, and the screen stopped working after 2 mins... so now Im turned off by that, and was looking at the Keeley Dark Side... Not sure what pedal to go with... mostly for synths, but also for a Space Cat Dub Siren I have coming. Id live to hear your thoughts.

My favourite multi. My only multi. I love my V.1, and have the "Echoes" delay which is the Binson side modified and juiced up with 3 modes.
Love the tip for mode 12. I wonder if I use it for the DS and Echoes delay will I be able to sound faster than Malmsteen..

I wish keely made a version of this pedal without the fuzz side. Kind of how they did the realizer pedal
I can never nail that tone , I get very frustrated trying to copy ( being Perfect ) but when I create my own grooves how ever simplistic I feel good , like I made some head way . If you want to be alone start banging on a guitar .....they'll leave .
Do you recommend dropping acid before I attempt to use this pedal?
