After a little over 16 minutes of lightning and thunder the storm comes barreling in around the 17:00 mark. This storm reminds me of a song by The Beatles, with the beautiful lyric, "The wild and windy night, that the rain washed away." I remember in the summer of 1971, a storm that came into the small farm town I live in, some 5,000 people, late at night. After the storm it was calm and the rain was dripping off of the large cottonwood trees out by the swimming pool. We had been riding around during the storm. This is a great video and thank you for recording and posting it.
I like to upload the entire storm when I can, including a little time before the storm. 😎 The calm before and after the storm has always been awesome to me. I'm glad you like my video! Thanks for watching!
As a Missourian, I remember this day and I'm surprised that you got storms there in Arkansas. In the morning it started off with heavy rain and I remember that all modes of severe weather were possible. It missed my area and was just to the south.
It was a rather large storm for sure, had plenty of power too! I also recorded the morning portion of the storms this day too, I'll be editing that soon and if it was good enough I'll be uploading that too! Thanks for watching!
BEAUTIFUL!!😍🤩 I really miss thunderstorms!🥲 Here in Buenos Aires we did not have any thunderstorms since early july, only some weak rains and drizzles, it's winter but lately there were days in which temperatures were extremely high for the season, some days the temperature reached 26 degrees celsius but unfortunately there was no rain at the time it droped to normal winter temperatures, which is bad because there is a big rain deficit in this zone, i hope tomorrow the situation starts changing, the last 2 days the temperature was pretty high for the season and for now it is forecasted some strong thunderstorms for tomorrow afternoon until thursday noon. Once again, beautiful storm! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! 🤩
I love some good loud storms! Hope you get some interesting weather in your area for you to watch! Thank you for watching my videos! I'm glad you like them! I appreciate your support!
@@1018weather Luckily we had some really good storms a few days after that great video! Though there were certain moments in which it turned really scary LOL😅😅 i remeber that one night, i think august 16 or 17, we had a severe thunderstorm with lots of CG lightning, very heavy rain and wind (i think that was almost a microburst) and medium size hail, and the next day it rained torrentially for 2 hours, more than 120 milimeters of rain! Unfortunately i could not record that because my camera was with no battery at that moment haha😅
@@1018weather Yeah! Those thunderstorms were really active, especially the one that occured the night of august 16, it looked like a summer storm and it was the middle of winter hahaha. And yesterday we had a few isolated thunderstorms at late afternoon and night, nothing severe but really cool! The night started with a great lightning activity, though it lasted only 20 minutes (luckily there were no CGs haha) then some moments of heavy rain with very slight electrical activity, just a few bolts, and for the rest of the night and overnight just moderate and continuous rain with no electrical activity. Now as the spring comes in thunderstoms may be more frequent, i hope so LOL. By the way, i really miss your amazing videos bro! I'm waiting for more storm videos haha🤩😁
@@jmgg6040 I have a few videos I'm working on right now, so more will come soon! It's fall in my location so that means minimal storm activity but as they happen I will be recording them! Like I said I currently have a few to edit and I'll get them posted asap! I'm glad you like my videos!

@@1018weather Yeah, the wind and the rain was wild. I've been in storms with that amount of strength.
things to do in a storm like this: seek shelter NOW!
Yes! I was inside the safety of my house, camera sits outside mounted on a tripod.
