Just brought one for myself today, my day one XB1 controller finally shit the bed, I got the shock blue with the windows adapter I love it, much more of the same but more improvement's like the grips on the side, and adding USB-C, I have sweaty hands and they help so much compared to the standard XB1 controller. No complaints from me, I love what Microsoft did here "If it ain't broke don't fix it" approach.

I have the same controller but when I play Kingdom Hearts games from Epic game the buttons are not playing correctly. B suppose to be A, X supposed to be B and other buttons. I have updated both controller and desktop windows 10 only time it works correctly if I leave it hooked up with my cord not Bluetooth

Hi . I have a question .. if I connect the controller to PC wired .. do I need Microsoft play and charge kit or external AA batteries ? Or just a cable without batteries to the controller is enough ?
The minimum requirement you need are the AA batteries that Microsoft provides you in your Xbox series x controller and a USB-C cable which is sold seperately ffor it to function on your PC via wired, I hope this helped 😎

I got this controller in white and it works great with steam but when I try to play rocket league or any epic games game the controller isn’t picked up at all
Make sure that the firmware is up to date on your controller, does it pick up in windows applications such as file explorer?

Yes, they have to be installed for the updates
Also, if you're upgrading to xbox series X controller after using xbox one controller and adapter -
Unplug the fudging adapter. It works without it now and won't work with it plugged in. It took me too long to figure out why the new controller wasn't working >.>

Yes it is on epic games, does your controller work on steam? Sounds like your windows may not be up to date

My controller is connected to my pc bluetooth but once i connect my headphones to the controller i cant hear anything and no headphones settings pop out either only when im connected wired

Hey Chris, the Xbox Accessories app won't respond to my Shock Blue controller. But when I go on a game, it responds to the joysticks / buttons. Any way to fix this?
Hey Fallman, are you connecting the controller by USB? If the USB is not connected, it won't detect it and also to protect your controller from bricking on firmware updates
@@ChrisMizo I used to have a Minecraft Xbox controller, and I had a usb plug to fit the plug inside the controller. And when I used the previous usb plug for my Shock Blue controller, it couldn't fit in so i used a extra usb plug for the front of the previous usb plug I used. But when I plugged the extra usb in, it said that it couldn't read it.
@@napcatz I see what you mean, what I would recommend is to get a usb-a to USB-C cable as that would eliminate the issue, Anker has some really excellent cables and I think you'd be pleased with that 👍
My problem is that while the controller is recognized by the bluetooth it does not work properly in some games, it changes buttons and moves randomly and in others there is no problem. Any suggestions?
Does it recognize your Xbox one controller completely via USB? Which games as well?
I have found an issue with that controller and I have tried more than 3. the issue is that it's connected via Bluetooth but there are some games that doesn't work games like Sekiro, Monster boy or Ninja Gaiden. The only way that those work for me is via USB C cable.
I have you tried updating your controller? Sometimes it could be something small that will cause the controller to not work correctly, I'll see if I can run a test on some of those games
@@ChrisMizo I updated the software and I also update to windows 11 just to see if windows is the problem but is the same issue. I play more games like hollow knight, GTA 5 and many more. but this issue is only on those games. Thank you for answer and Hello from Dominican Republic.

I’m having an issue with my controller. When I get on the crew 2 none of the key mappings are correct. It works for every other game I have. Any idea of how to fix?
Yes update your windows otherwise you'll have some really weird mappings 👍

This typically happens when windows doesn't have the correct driver for your controller, try going to your device manager and selecting your controller and update the driver manually to a xbox series x controller

Sounds like the connection got lost in between, do you have multiple devices to your Bluetooth dongle?

Maybe because im using Bluetooth dongle?
Could be the possibility, doesn't hurt to try, just make sure to keep the dongle plugged in on a side note otherwise it can forget

You shouldn't have to, make sure you hve the neccessary windows update to work with your xbox series x controller

My bluetooth simply doesn't work. I don't have the usb cable and neither the xbox wireless adapter, so my only option is Bluetooth and it doesn't work.
I put batteries on, turn the controller on, hold the button to connect, then I go to the bluetooth are on my pc, search for devices and nothing appears. I'm just tired of trying.

Make sure your Bluetooth has less interference around it, your controller will have a much more improved connection 👍

Make sure it under controller input, if that doesn't work download 360ce and use the 360 simulator will install the xinput file, see if that works

@@ChrisMizo yes it does work without it, however the toggle doesn’t control the mouse like I was looking for. It was only able to highlight the options. Which is why I went for controller companion instead. 👍🏻

My controller is a Shock Blue version for XSeriesX/S bought last black friday and is not working with my PC.
I have Windows 10 vesion 20H2 with no pending updates.
I have updated my controller firmware through Xbox Accessories APP
My usb dongle is a Bluetooth 4.0 firmware LMP 6.12675 / 6.8891
When I try to pair the controller doesn't show up on bluetooth found devices.
I can pair it to my android phone instantly.
IDK about the update, but when I try to install the KB4580364, I get an error.
Honestly this sh** getting me angry already.
Hey Manoel, does the PC read the controller at all? If it doesn't, sounds like its more of a connection issue with the Bluetooth dongle, I'd try to swap that out and see if that works.
@@ChrisMizo It doesn't, I can see my controller on my phone, and on a phone of a friend too, but my PC it's like there's no bluetooth device to be added. I've ordered a 5.0 bluetooth receiver, let's hope that it fixes it. I refuse to buy that xbox bundle. If it doesn't work I'll probably just sell my controller and get a PS5 one.
Yeah that should definitely fix that issue, sounds like a Bluetooth issue for certain hopefully this will resolve your issue

I find it laughable that the wireless controller doesn't include a fucking charger considering that you need it to even use it on pc..
I agree, how much does it really cost for them to manufacture a wire for there controller especially if you need to update your firmware on your controller, it's ashame Microsoft still doesn't add rechargeable batteries to their controller, it will definitely enhance their product more

@@witherriderr6876 Xbox series x controller will work if you directly connect it to your PC with a USB-C wire, if you don't have that you'll need a Bluetooth adapter which is listed above in the description. Those are your best choices in order to have your Xbox series x controller working correctly 👍
