The reason you are having the always partly powered on issue is due to the wiring of the front panel. Many times there are a couple jumpers you need to make in order to fix that problem and get rid of the warning messages you’re seeing when you turn on the system. You can get rid of the F1 to continue this way. You may also need to jumper one or two of the USB ports. I found using a wire wrap tool and 28 gauge wire wrap wire is the best way to jumper pins without interfering with plugging cables in.

It could be the CPU that u are using u could swap it out for another or try undervolting it slightly. Also set fan profile to max in bios but it will be noisey as hell. Mines loud all the time

Nuts are in the description. Front usb 2 and 3 working (extender cable in the description), but still gives other errors on boot (PSU fan related maybe) which have to bypassed by pressing F1.

Hello there! I have done the same with a HP Prodesk 400 G2 MT but an error msg appear "922-Front USB 2 Not Connected" and I have to press F1 key to boot... any ideas how to solve the issue?
Yeah, this is the problem with these HP's... In my case it complains about PSU fan too and i don't think i could fix that so i didn't even bother trying. If that USB 2 is the only error you get you could try connecting the original front USB2 and hiding it somewhere in the case. Unless the power button pins are in the same header, then that's a problem. I bet someone in some forum has an answer.

It looks like that mobo is from HP Pro 6300 and very non-standard, won't probably fit in any standard case. Pcie slot and i/o panel locations are flipped compared to standard layout. It sucks that HP did that.

I am not sure if that is compatible or incompatible. Could do damage if incompatible. I would go with one that's for the correct model do be safe. Despite ordering one for the correct model, i got one that was wired incorrectly and had to fix it, so watch out.

i have the same 600 g2 sff in order to put standard PSU you need an adapter or you can pick up hp PSU but your watt is gonna be limited i have managed to get one it was made for HP prodesk G1 Microtower it has 320W PSU it's working flawless with my new GPU

This PC has a non-standard CPU cooler mount, so that would be very difficult. Also it would not really make sense as you cannot overclock CPU's on this motherboard anyway.

Liquid cooling mainly provides a "buffer" because the liquid can absorb a lot of heat, and because of this the rise of CPU temperature and ramping up of fan speed will be slower than on an air cooler, but under continued load, when the liquid has heated up the CPU temps and fan speed will rise to the same point as with an air cooler, if not higher. Liquid coolers have their use cases, but they are often misleadingly marketed, Gamers Nexus made a very good informational video about that.

In your situation i would first test that i7 with the original cooler, it is surprisingly good. Also i would rather buy a non-k variant of i7, those are usually cheaper and with this mobo k and non-k variants will perform almost the same, no major advantage of k variant because it cannot be overclocked with this board.
Yeah that's what i said, i guess it's the mounting mechanism with the nuts. I don't know about dangerous, it just means it slows the CPU down when it hits 100 so it doesn't go over that but sure, i wouldn't recommend using it like that. I'll see if i can do something to the temps.

You can adjust the cpu cooler fan speed in the bios setting it to max will drop temps by 30%

You mean use a different CPU cooler? No without significant modding, the cooler mounting holes are not in the standard positions.
What are the dimensions of the case? The website says height: 205mm, width: 410mm and depth: 440mm. I doubt these dimensions are correct.

Mounting holes line up/are standard, CPU cooler mount non-standard. So should work as well with other mATX or ATX cases.

I haven't ever tinkered with g2, only g1, so can't say anything about g2 PSU. You probably need some kind of an adapter.

But you can also use a splitter from the CPU fan header and connect a case fan to that.

Re check your processor cooler why its reaching 99c I don't think its normal.
I made an update video on that, turned out the CPU had been delidded and incorrectly glued with a gap between die and IHS.

No, the graphics card is too much for the stock 240w PSU. In this video i use a standard ATX PSU with an adapter.

They should turn on when you have their Molex cable connected to the PSU.

700 G1 looks very similar to 600 G1, i don't see a reason same wouldn't work with that but i haven't tried it with 700 G1 so can't guarantee it works.
