You don't need to worry about psu wattage being too high. If that psu has 6 or 8 pin it is a better setup than in this video and will allow for much higher wattage GPU.

Well, if you are lucky enough and that iphone is not icloud locked, i would maybe rather sell it or use it with the cracked glass. Especially if it's an original screen, since with first try at glass-only replacement there's a very low change that the display survives.

But i might have it still laying around somewhere at the house. If i could find it, i might try that too. Yes, I had Ryzen 5 3500 and 32gb ram. B450 motherboard. But i had to sell it. Turkey is in crysis. I am a computer programmer and having financal issues in the past 3 years. So this old computer is my work computer. GPU and PSU left over from my gaming computer. And I don't have enough money to buy a new computer. Also I really like this desktop case. It's somewhat an improvised setup for me. I hope i can share a video or pictures when i complete it. I am waiting the arrival of converter cable. If new gpu works with this old system, I'll share it. Thank you!

@wmwmwm13 Oh, sorry to hear that. Btw, when the converter cable arrives, check that the smaller wires that connect to the white connecor on the mobo are in correct order. My cable had that connector backwards so i had to extract the crimps and put them into the connector in the correct order. It is easiest to check by comparing how the wires are in original PSU connector.

No you can't skip it, the lineage 9 requires you to have 8.0 stock rom. Is the wayback machine link i put in the description working for you?

You NEED EMUI 8/ANDROID 8 for the roms in wayback machine link. EMUI 5/ANDROID 7 WON'T WORK, you need to upgrade to EMUI 8 before flashing Lineage 16. There is a section "EMUI 8-based builds" (where Lineage 16 is) that can be used for devices with EMUI 8. There's also "EMUI 9-based builds" and those are only for devices that got official EMUI 9.

It's a bit confusing because EMUI 8-based ROM's are Android 9 and EMUI 9-based ROM's are Android 10. With Honor 8 only EMUI 8-based roms can be flashed and those need to be flashed on top of EMUI 8, not EMUI5/EMUI7.

970 with M83 SFF PSU is probably not going to work. I think PSU wattage will be far too low.

Btw my sister is still using this ITX build and its been very stable. Just the internal wifi antennas didn't work well due to interference from aluminium case, so had to move them outside the case.

Well, unfortunately a better GPU wouldn't help much, since the CPU is the problem with an increasing amount of modern games. This CPU is so old it's missing some critical instruction sets causing many games to not even launch anymore. Pairing any more recent GPU with this CPU would be a waste of that GPU.

No, i don't have any extra, you'll have to search on aliexpress etc. Btw still using s10+ with black spot screen, typing this with it. I think it's well worth it.

Well, hard to say whether adding vrm/memory heatsinks is worth it. I added them initially because most GPU's have them and it seemed odd this didn't... this GPU is actually still in active use and working, but can't say how much the heatsinks affect it's longevity. I have also noticed a risk with doing this, if you add heatsinks to anything it is important to make sure they stay on, sometimes these small heatsinks come with bad adhesive or the component is dusty causing the heatsink to not stick properly. And in that case it may fall off later, risking shorting out something inside the PC and destroying it.

Probably would not physically fit, and power consumption would be pushing the PSU a bit too much. Might still work, but i would rather go with a smaller TDP GPU.

You could try if the BIOS allows you to set "legacy oprom" etc for the video card. That option may also not be there at all... my conclusion was that it's not worth it putting any GPU in this PC, the CPU is too weak to properly take advantage of the GPU.

Well, if you mean the tape, that's there to direct airflow, not to hold the fan in place. It's mounted to the heatsink with same screws as the original fan was, since the mouting holes match with the original.

Well, i usually only deal with old/cheap PC's, newest ryzen i have is my 1700x :) so i don't know much about the more recent stuff, and what you should get always depends on the price. I would get the best deal you can find in your country.

I know it's late, but I'll share anyway. If your setup is mainly for gaming i would suggest 5700x3d, it is marketed for gaming and from the performance at least in gaming its more than 7600x. But the differences wasnt that large. Both are great cpu and you can't go wrong with either of those two.

That often means i cover very niche topics, which means almost no views sometimes, and i pack them with as much info as i can rather than focus on entertainment value, which means a lot of people stop watching the video early, which hurts performance in algorithm. I dont have 1 and i only repair phone for fun. It's only when i finish glass repair on 1 of my phone i came across your channel, and at the time i was looking at your 5th gen intel cpu review. Having said that what do you think of sunshine S-918b it is advertised for screen rework at least in my area, it can do vacuum + uv, albeit it is small and probably not strong enough. @@haziqsofian Well, if you have a black spot and would like to try poking it, first make sure that it's an LCD screen. Black spots on amoled/oled screens don't go away by poking, with those you can only do further damage by poking. When you have a black spot on an LCD, you can first try just waiting for two days and see if it goes away on its own. It usually gets smaller little by little. If it doesn't, you can try poking or rubbing the screen gently with a plastic object, that will "spread" the black spot and makes it go away faster.

Yes, i think i tried that once. It won't go all the way in the pcie slot because of the case so it's sketchy and display output locations may cause issues, but i think it can be made work.
