This video doesn’t do this ride any sort of justice. That first drop is easily the most terrifying that I’ve ever experienced, it is so fast and thrilling and I loved every second of that ride

Risendragon Games my favorite is the last drop, where you have a couple of little bunny hops, then drop into the canyon.
I never rode it, but I gotta say this ride looks intense AF

That dive down to the water 3/4 into the ride is an absolute bit of design genius.
Even only being 170 feet. That’s probably one of the most intense drops I’ve ever experienced. It’s a truly out of body experience in the back seat. I’d only put the drops of Millennium Force and X over this.

I literally came to watch this video to see just how terrible the drop really is cause i’ve seen it in person but have never rode it and I KNOWWWWW this video does not do it justice at all and i’ve never even set foot in this ride
This ride is so damn scary the first time you ride it. That drop is REALLY good- scared the crap out of me when I first rode it. But then it’s just FUN. This ride is a BLAST!

Elementer Channel actually no sort of phones or cameras or gopros are allowed on any rides at Six Flags. As a ride attendant we deal with people constantly trying to sneak cameras and phones on the Iron Rattler
@@noahlongoria1845 Yeah. Recording on rides is dangerous as no matter how tight it's on, it could still fly off. Even with strapped pivothead glasses.
Dude when I went to San Antonio and when we got to the top of the hill, my stomach was brain dead. I felt like my brain wasn’t functioning for like 5 hours that day. It was on October at night and it took 3 hours to get there.
Fiesta Texas has the best park layout and backdrop imo. It’s really something else being on top of the quarry and then dropping down to the bottom in both the Rattler and the Krypton Coaster.
We loved the park but it's scorching hot there compared to SF over Georgia. We've got too many hills here but there's lots of trees and shady areas to cool off. SF Fiesta TX was either roast or go into a store to bum air conditioning.
Mari Scott My home park is SF Over Texas so I know what you mean, I find myself wanting to stay in the covered pavilions under a mist fan. March is a wonderful time to go to either park though!
I work at Fiesta Texas and Texasjust sucks most of the year. I work in the retail stores and I don't stop anyone coming in to cool off, especially since there is a big fan right above the door. Come inside, have a chat, and maybe you'll even learn something new. :) The best part of my day is having conversations with guests and knowing that they are able to cool off and enjoy their day.
Ride the back! Trust me, it is truly one of the best experiences. One of the only times I use a few "choice words" coming flying over the lift hill into the first drop :)

The rattler has always been called the rattler, first one was wood now this one is steel. So ppl have been riding the rattler for awhile, her friend swallowed a fly during her experience on the rattler. You’re putting too much thought into her personal experience on the rattler

Hands down best ride ever. That first drop is definitely no joke- intense. I was afraid to ride it for years but once I rode it, I rode it two more times. I wanna say the back was my favorite of all ❤

short but one of the most exciting rides to go on. That first drop is hell. It feels like it's trying to throw you off the train. The twists and turns make it a fast loud and violent ride. That tunnel used to be cooler tho, it used to have smoke and lights.

My #1 favorite coaster right now. The first time you ride a vertical drop coaster, your stomach drops. Once you get used to vertical drops, u wont get that feeling in your stomach anymore. But this is such an awesome coaster.

This is a great coaster. Being a "wooden coaster" even though it's now really a steel coaster with wooden supports, I was expecting it to be rough as hell. It was great. I rode it several times. One of the smoothest coasters I've ever been on.

I rode on a wooden rollercoaster at Fiesta Texas back in 1998. Can't remember the name of it but the person that took me wouldn't ride it with me and mentioned how he saw the wooden boards sway as the train cars went over it. 😫
It's the same ride. It was originally called The Rattler, and had the distinction of being the world's tallest wooden coaster.

Just went on this ride on the 4th of July and it’s honestly one of my new favorite roller coasters now, I still hold a special place for Ghost rider and silver bullet at Knotts berry farm in California tho lol.

These steel/wooden coasters are awesome now! I can’t believe they have incorporated corkscrews into wooden coasters lol Hope to go on one someday!
The company that does this also makes completely new wooden coasters that have similar elements to their steel conversions. It's amazing
IDK what's more scary. The way it looks like it's gonna stall going up the hill or right before the drop, or the intense looking speed and turns.

Bro I went on this yesterday, jeezus I was hyperventilating like hell. But then I calmed down right before I got on the ride. But jeez the fall feels like years before it actually stars, and what will I tell you it is insane, that first drop it makes u feel like ur about to fall out of ur seat! And then all those turns, and even when ur seat turns mid ride was so fun, but scary! Yes this is a short ride but it is definitely worth it, and if you have the nerves I recommend you to go on it!
The drop looks so small but once you see it in person your like oh shit that’s big
