- Poltergeist is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas. It has been open since 1999 and received a fresh coat of paint in 2009. Although the ride is considered to be manufactured by Premier Rides, the track itself was fabricated by Dynamic Structures and Intermountain Lift, Inc.
This is the newly rethemed Poltergeist with an added themed queue.

I haven't been able to ride a 🎢🎢rollercoaster🎢🎢 since my health deteriorated. I used to absolutely love Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois. It was my "Home park" and we loved it! The American Eagle was one of the best ever made! So many epic rides from the Power Dive, a Space Shuttle that swung back and forth, back and forth, until you hung upside down way up in the air. People's change/coins clanging off the metal "roof". Or the Shock Wave, the head rattling coaster that sometimes could give you a massive migrane headache! The old Turn of the Century or "the Demon". Iron 🐺🦊Iron🐺Wolf🦊🐺, Z-Force, and many other classical rides. Sadly my health has deteriorated to the point where walking is no longer an option. I used to love these rides! Especially 🦇🦇Batman🦇🦇!! Oh I forgot the old Tidal Wave. Another classic!
You need to give the people getting off the ride a little bit more space and time before you get on.
That right is definitely a headbanger. Lots of turns and loops. Fast. You'll definitely come off either dizzy or with a headache.

For some strange reason this ride looks similar to Outer Limits Flight of Fear that came out in the 90’s at King’s Dominion in Virginia. It’s inside a building totally dark that flashes lights every now and then. Awesome ride.

I hate having to practically walk "a mile" just to ride a 1 minute or so/less ride...ridiculous!

This is basically the Flight of Fear ride at Kings Island without the building around it.
Look exactly like the Flight of Fear at Kings Dominion..... Only difference is F.O.F is inside of a building and has a space/alien theme
Poltergeist is a fun roller coaster, and I love the updates. SFFT seems to be putting more into the theming of their rides, which is fantastic!

Definitely my favorite of the four spaghetti bowl coasters in the US. Hauls ass and runs much smoother than the indoor Flight of Fear coasters.
Polty is one of my go to’s at SFFT. It’s just fun.
In 55 years of riding coasters this is the only one I got stuck on. At the very end coming in to the station, train stopped and we spent 45 minutes in the hot sun waiting to move. I damn near pissed my pants.

Dam this thing is old! I used to have a roller coaster book as a kid and this roller coaster was in it. But back then it was yellow! It looks crazyyyyyyyyy
I guess I don't understand the theme if it is only referenced in the Queue. I like rides that keep the theme going through the entire ride.

How is this cost efficient to run this with hardly any people? Was this during spring break? Did they raise the prices? Or is this not a popular ride? Looks like fun though❤
Parks like SFFT that run year round usually aren’t super crowded during the offseason when people aren’t traveling.

I couldn’t get on a roller coaster like that too fast for me and I don’t do fast roller coaster’s like this the closest I’ll get to a fun more exciting roller coaster is big thunder mountain rollercoaster at Disneyland best ride ever❤
It's only 55 MPH. Everything in the structure is just so close it seems like it's going faster. It's a really fun ride. you should brave it. It's pretty mild.

Well the queue looked rather boring. But its pretty much a spagetti coaster just outdoors. However the definition of a Poltergeist is a noisy ghost/ spiritual creature.. so i guess making a ride based on that concept works
They had to clean this ride and put a trash bag over one of the seats bc a girl puked her brains out on this thing back in like '08. Doesn't surprise me, this coaster is a damn twister on wheels and she probably ate a bad chili dog before or something haha classic
So if there’s a long line, you have to stand in the haunted house queue??

I rode it both from the front car and the back. The back is better due to the facr you get a speed effect when you look at the front car.

Too much upside down for me. Some can expect a headache after this ride. I prefer rides like El Toro.
You can handle a bunch of forceless inversions but you can't handle the strongest airtime of any coaster 💀

The video wasn’t that bad. The ride itself, though, seemed kinda boring. No music, no sounds, no theming of any kind along the track. Just some flashing lights in the boarding area.
