Nope. The world's longest coaster, an alpine coaster in Andorra is more than double the length of this thing (I believe it's got 5.3 kilometers of track). For an alpine coaster you know that means a longer lift. And apparently Spain is going to be taking the record from them soon, about an hour and a half away from the current record holder. That region doesn't get enough attention for soon to be having the 2 longest coasters in the world (and presumably the tallest too going off elevation change).
I think this person is just like intentionally dragging it out with the hand brake. They should've been a lot faster in too many places & I think that "track whoosh" sound is the brake being constantly engaged. I guess they were trying to highlight the views, which is a waste of time as recorded images never do justice to the actual scenery. Lame videos of "thrill rides" are awesome! If I want to watch pretty "scenic videos" I can find some slow gondola vlog to watch 👍
No kidding! The rhythm of the tik-tok nearly put me to sleep! I fully expected a cartoon mouse to be at the top to say: "I thought you'd never get here!"
I've only ever done these on courses through forests and over nice grassy hills - the hard stoniness of the desert and the epic views really make this seem more exposed and exciting. well done.
For those who are critical of the long climb stop and think about it for a minute the ride starts its downhill run from the top of a mountain that doesn’t have any road access to it. To build a road up there would cost a fortune so it’s far cheaper to build a long hill climb for the sled. Would you rather pay a huge amount to be able to drive up there or what they charge and get a ride up in the sled that takes 7 minutes.
I live in the UAE but i had no idea such a thing existed, not even the fact that we had such stunning views???? I thought it was shot in the us or smth. Thank you for the awesome video and experience!
I really thought this rollercoaster ride was going to be the longest uphill ride ever!!! However the action FINALLY starts at around 7:23 From then on, it's time to hang on tight for your dear life 😅
@CoasterStudios I was watching it in a big screen in 4k and noticed that thing highlighted in the blue sky in top right from 0:14 to 0:45, did you catch a UFO in the video or is that something else? BTW the ride is pretty cool 👍
Actually you do. There are handlebars on the side of the vehicle so you can slow down throughout the ride course if you want to. We elected to go full speed the whole time.
I thought the coaster was going to last like 20 minutes after that hill. But it went so fast. Also, NOPE, just a tiny cart speeding on a rail with a seemingly infinite drop below.
Longer than any of the alpine coasters I've ridden but still only half the length of the world's longest coaster in Andorra that doesn't get the attention it deserves for holding that record. I really hope to ride one of the bigger alpine coasters one of these days.
@@Southeastern_Thrills the new Wiegand mountain coasters all have a maximum speed setting that the park chooses to set. Once you get close to that, it starts automatically braking to make sure you don't go above that speed. That's why I like the older mountain coasters that don't have the auto-trimming so much more 😀like the Runaway Mountain in Branson
@@Southeastern_Thrills it's very noticable on some mountain coasters for sure. Especially the one at Yogi Bear's in North Carolina. That thing was trim brake central and one of the worst mountain coasters we've been on

very true
Were the brakes stuck on ?
This needs the record for the longest lift hill 😂

This is my dream roller coaster. No crazy loops. Just a wonderful ride and amazing views.
lol well the lift hill takes so long it will give u a dream till the most enjoyable part :D
yeeeesssssss totally agree 👍🏻:D
Many times, I thought you were at the top; many times, I was wrong.
I always love when the lift hill is 80% of the experience.
After watching the lift hill for seven minutes, the view hit hard!
yeah go on a long hike to a cool view, the view will hit even harder
You should try to ride the mountain coasters in Switzerland, they are the best in the world IMO, the alps are just so stunning
Rodelbahn Berg Bis Tal in Interlaken is probably the most unexpectedly intense alpine coaster I've been on
GREAT ADMIRATION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION ON SUCH CRAZY TERRAIN! WOW!!💯
For the people wondering: The ride starts at 7:23 (Yes, the lifthill is that long...)
No kidding… thought we were just taking a tour of the desert. 🌵
the random glimpses of other riders now and then, and their yells, makes it the more surreal.

Those views are incredible! Now THAT"S a mountain coaster!
Don’t get me wrong
This looks pretty fun and wild. And those views are incredible. But it’s funny how over half the video it’s a chill lift hill.
Wow that's incredible. I'm 66 and I would ride that. That must of cost a lot to build. Thanks for the ride!
Where's my skip to the top gang?
7:23
I’m here!😂
I just double the speed and enjoy the ride.
@@dougmartin7129Thanks for that tip!
Wheres my skip to the bottom gang

What a crashing bore this was.
Amazing.
It goes faster going up and slower going down.

i was going to say. "WOW" over one mile worth of fun! Till I see that there is 1/2 mile worth of incline. 🤣
Wow that looks really good and a bit more intense than usual alpine coasters. What do you guys put it vs similar ones around the world?
this one really built up a lot of speed, but unfortunately also slowed down at multiple points
How tall is this? And if it's in a hyper/giga/strata range, would you consider it as belonging to any of those categories?
You guys should make a video on Skyrush new restraints!
i'm sure they will when they get back stateside. really curious on their thoughts of I 305 and Intimidator losing there theming.
Yea when are they coming back to Florida?
Donde queda ese sitio?
be funny if the video just ended after the third lifthill
Ok!?!? Ok!?!? Haha
Oh yeah 😂
Yes! And then you had to walk all the way back down... 🤣

Yeah what is that?? Looks similar to the Mosul orb. Weird.
That looks quite fun. Beautiful views too!
I had trouble staying straight up in my seat watching this. Beautiful views!
I love the "slow down" sign at the end...as if you'd have any control over that.

@@CoasterStudios I was wondering about that Slow Down sign, too. So, it's like an Alpine Slide?
VIELEN LIEBEN DANK...FRIEDEN und FREIHEIT...
I thought the camera was prohibited? Are they allowing it now?
The Fun starts at 7:20 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks 😊
Wow what a beautiful view
Those Wiegand lift hills are something else. Legendary.
Fantastic !! Thanks from Detroit 🇺🇸
What was that station near the top? Alternate entrance for the attraction for those that don't want to experience a 7-minute lift?
I think it's to control when riders go down the coaster or not.
A lot slower than I was expecting. As Always, May God Bless you and yours! 😇
Was that Kayne West at the bottom greeting you getting off the ride???
Why don't we have this kind of awesomeness here in the states? This would be such a hit!
There’s actually a ton of these in the U.S.! There’s 10 alone in the pigeon forge/Gatlinburg area of Tennessee!
@@CoasterStudios Well TY for the info, I had no idea!
Dang that first sharp turn!😮
So the length is over 6,000 feet. Is half of that the lift hill?
I loved the views🌵🌞
muy lindo , en que pais es esto??
What is that white sphere in the sky towards the upper right around 23 seconds in?
How massive that is the labor and materials to do this I cannot comprehend and the cost is does take a little
Long to get to top
What country is this in ?
United Arab Emirates
Where you slowing down or is that the fastest it goes ??????
What was that in the sky at the beginning of the video?
Hi Taylor and Sarah, I was wondering what kind of camera you use for your povs as I wanted to make videos like that. Keep up the great work :)
The interesting part starts at 7:20. Don't waste your time
It's slow! Is this being played back in slowmo?
One can easily take a nap while the coaster is moving uphill ))
And the trip as officially started🎉 can’t wait for Ferrari world!
I experienced it,and it was amazing. especially since it was sunset time too

I like how the first six minutes is just getting to the top 😄
The scenery, the sounds, it reminds me of video game Myst
Have you watched the new animation of Georgia Surfer that was released by SFOG themselves 3 days ago? If so, would love see your analysis on it.

You also have them in germany. But just alot more interesting, as you have more activities in the area.
This ride should charge for the climb up! Anticipation!
after 7 mins climbing up begins 3 mins fun of sliding down!
Are there plans for an lsm lift?
How fast were you going?
Soaking in the view on the way up 👌
When does it start?
Looks fun where is this ?
Jebel Jais in the UAE
Wow! that is so cool and that view is breathtaking.
This reminded me of the mine cart ride from that puzzle game called Riven.
& minutes up for only 2.1 minutes down. Does not seem to go back to the starting point. I would like to Know the altitude at the top and bottom.
This reminds me of an old game called Myst - Riven. Looks like something you would have to ride in the game to get to the next level.
think how much time effort and money it took to build that track
Not nearly as fast as many in Europe though. The ones in the Alps are crazy!
which country is this located in???
United Arab Emirates
Neato! Interesting that you have to be careful for mountain goats.
This looks so awsome i want a shot lol
Thoughts on intimidator?
Long lift hill video with bonus downhill section at end ! 😂
Damn that was a long ride to the top. I blinked and missed the trip down
THE REAL RIDE STARTS ONLY AT 7:20. Thank you!
I wish Six Flags would make more rides like this. Instead they produce blender vomit machines one after the other.
What beautiful trees🙄
There is amazing and wonderful coaster
Is it all uphill? It's like somebody built a coaster based entirely on a vague description of a coaster.
If you didn't break, will you fly off the rail?
Finally one I would use the brake for.
Is this at max speed?
Yes
@@CoasterStudios Just curious cause at points it looks kinda slow, but most alpine coasters slow down at points.

I love how literally 3/4 of the video is just the lift hill.
It seems slower than most alpine coasters. Maybe because it's not in the woods where it feels really fast?
