Breeding Rainbowfish for the First Time!

- I had no idea breeding bleheri rainbowfish would be so easy! I just got these beautiful fish and I already have hundreds of eggs and fry from them spawning! We will discuss raising baby rainbowfish and hatching fry in this short and sweet video.
In future videos we will discuss exactly how to breed rainbowfish, how to build DIY spawning mops, and proper diets to feed your rainbowfish to maximize egg production! Thank you for the lessons learned in this video. I think that's the best way to learn the do's and don'ts to any hobby a person is into. And it's the best way to pass on knowledge. It's something you've experienced and have learned yourself. Your not just throwing out false information because it's what everyone else is saying. You are very welcome Damon! I know they might seem small right now but compared to other rainbowfish these actually grow pretty quickly! Good luck breeding them! I'll be releasing a video on how to breed rainbows somewhat soon!

I just got my first fish spawn ever and i only got my raimbofish a week ago, i also added alot of plants so im hella happy😂

cool we have rainbow fish here in our rivers nice to see. Im building my first rack finding tanks is such a headache we dont get anything like a dollar a gallon. I would like to ask somone who is far more advanced then me. I was thinking about 5x2ft on one shelf 10gal or smaller then 2ft on the top shelf for breeding then maybe a 6ft or 2 3fts for grow out on the bottom. have central air on the way and planing to drill all tanks and drip/overflow. would love your thoughts on this. i only ask cause i see your rack in this video :)

@@bobby_au that would be so neat to see the rainbowfish in the wild like that, it's definitely on my bucket list! Yeah Steve is such a generous person it was very nice of him! I'm going to be breeding at least 100 of these fish to give back to him for his 220 gallon tank!
That sounds like a great setup! I love the idea of an overflow system, I wish I would have done that from the start. It will be a pain drilling these tanks now that they're in use! Central air is a good call too, I just installed mine and it was a game changer. You Should make a video of your setup when you get it the way you want it!
