This was the best presented and most detailed and comprehensive review of the UX I found on youtube. The car looks great, but also wanted to say kudos to the presenter. Great job mate.
I have a 19 plate takumi, front wheel drive only, safety everything on it, the f sport in this video does look meaner and sporty looking, but I don’t need 4 wheel drive, and the adjustable suspension, some people have said it’s stiffer then the standard set up, the touch pad is fiddly, but i have set the finger movement to slow which helps, and the shortcut buttons help, the seats and the whole set up in the front make it a nice place for a long drive, the boot is city car sized, but if you don’t have 4 wheel drive, there is a deep storage unit like in the puma under the floor, it’s not a family car, but a great starter car in the Lexus brand, never gone below 48mpg, longer journeys into the 50’s mpg, reliability and lexus service, no one beats them, always top in the car power survey, the most relaxing and easy cars to drive.
I have just bought a Lexus Takumi. I must admit I don’t have a problem with the Infotainment system but that’s probably because I have never had the pleasure of driving or using the BMW and Audi equivalent. But I will say it's a lot better then the Togle type “switch” on my old Lexus is300. I must agree that tyre noise is a bit annoying unless you are on a really smooth piece of road. Boot space leaves a lot to be desired but as I will hardly use it except for shopping I think I can live with it. Great Review.
I'm 24, no kids (and no, not planning yet either!) I'm not bothered about most of the bad points, things like the back seats and the boot space is not really a big thing for me. Would you say this is a good car now the CT is not available? I have a CT now, I've ordered a UX premium sport and hope that most of these bad points are null and void due to only being my age and in my position. Thoughts?
Moved from 2019 CT to '21 UX. I am at the end of the age spectrum at 77. I like these cars, pleasure to drive. Quirky....but so what, more to discover!
@@Marcoshary it's a huge upgrade from the CT, got mine in red with premium sport package (red with black trim) and then the white ash interior. Absolute gorgeous machine, runs like a dream and does relatively similar MPG. And everything I said that was null and void is right, I rarely use the back seats and they are good enough - and the boot space is more than enough for me.
We have a UX250h which is a 20 reg it does not appear to have seat memory and this makes it necessary or adjust rear view mirrors and seating position regularly. We see no buttons for setting this option in the car. Can it be done by the computer.

Great Revue, I'm selling my CT 200 which is a fabulous car to buy the UX
Great video, I have been eager beaver to drive the UX for over a year now!
You can change the sensitivity of the track pad
Agree with poor luggage space and infotainment system. Addressed and compensated by Apple Car Play and Lexus bullet proof reliability
Great review! I love the tail light

Great Review.
Hi, if you still have the vehicle get rid of your run flat tires and get normal high quality SUV tire and it will be night and day for you!
love the UX!
It is a lovely car but as mentioned the boot and infotainment system need improving.
I have the F-Sport and agree about the infotainment system as well as the pathetic boot space. My next car will be either an Audi, Merc or Alfa Tonale
Use voice control and pad will not be a problem
Instant like for saying: “ I have no ideas what Lexus philosophy means😝

Did you buy it? Are you happy with it and recommend it? Much better than the CT?

Does anyone hear the wind feedback when you're on the highway? It sounds like the window is open but it's not.
Sunroof is open

My next car coming from is300h f sport
Thank you for your comment. I hope you enjoy your IS. Gutted we don't get the latest version here.
gave your video a thumbs up too :)
Thank you good Sir.
It's sapphire blue colour?
Yes it is.
Can we put child seat and two booster seat at back
Which compact suv I can go for if I want to put child seat and two booster seat
Self charging
I believe marketing talk so people know its not a plug in
Very noisy on the motorway you need ear protection 😅
Good vehicle but that boot size is still really really unacceptable
I know it is soo small!
That is one of the main issues with the UX. That and it’s infotainment system need improving.
1st comment..... Though I don't like lexus that much.......
why not?
@@CarsofGlasgow ego issues 😅😅😅
