Very fresh and exciting. Also very familiar and safe. Another clear refinement of the X Cycle overall. What’s not to like?
Cable looks unbeatable but we said the same about Wolverine too.

Just getting into the game, I'm definitely excited for Cable and Domino heroes(two of my faves) and the eventual Deadpool. But also glad it's coming late August, so it give me time to build up my card pool and play everything that's currently released.
Looks excellent. I'm looking forward to having a justice precon hero in the box. Cable does seem massively OP

Mr Sinister looks like a fun challenge for Rogue, free Genius for Ingenuity and as he gets stronger with Aerial she gets stronger and can she use psionic traited cards later on too. Stryfe and Hope Summers having Psionic means Rogue will have a great campaign. I've been a bit of a Rogueoholic since I got her.
Every time just before a new box is announced I'm saying that's it I'm done and then they go and do something like this. Well I guess it's another pre order for me
Loving this box!! The villains look great! Both hero’s look awesome. I know Mutant Genesis talked about all the villains like this did. And whew Black Widow seems like she would be invaluable against Mr Sinister. “Oh you want to fly? Grappling hook! You want to be psionic? Grappling hook!”

Taking from LotR with the side schemes, I see. Team Investigation looks like one of those 'lcg commons' that FFG continues to design to punish people who buy their games. The player side schemes are a nice way to spice up the mono-scenario nature of Champs. Both heroes look really good.
Correction: I think it's a mental resource, not science. Hence its use on psionic cards etc...
P.S. If you autohide your taskbar, and put your browser in Kiosk or fullscreen mode (Using *F11* key on most Windows browsers), you can lose the annoying bars at the top and bottom of your screen. 👍
Without even taking Cable's abilities into consideration, the player side schemes seem a bit busted imo. 1 cost and 3 thwart to put ANY cost ally into play from your deck OR discard pile seems so broken. Guess we'll have to see how it actually works in practice.

Am I the only one that's noticed that the Mr sinister flight, super strength and telepathy are each a part of their own modular sets? I'm guessing it'll be more treachery cards that interact with the traits they apply.

I knew it would never happen but god I wanted Fatomex and E.V.A to be a playable hero. Maybe a hero pack in this cycle....maybe :(

You don’t think the trench coat silhouette could be Fantomex? Maybe I just want it so bad that I’m reading too much into it.
I hope it is. Remender’s X-Force is the definitive X-Force story, so it would be smart for them to use those characters.
This has me pretty excited. And the spoiler silhouette even more so.
The right is certainly deadpool (breaking the forth wall and holding a chimichanga) and the left is certainly X-23.
I really hope Psylocke and Fantomex are the other two, but the trench coat silhouette appears to have hair and Fantomex’s costume never shows his hair, so maybe it’s someone else?
The Psylocke ally was Betsy Braddock, so if this is Psylocke, I’d guess it’s Braddock as well. Would be nice to see Kwanon though, since it would open up the possibility of a future Braddock Captain Britain.
It would be a smart pick for FFG, since they try to keep male/female hero releases even, but there are way more male heroes and they’ll eventually run out of popular females. Having a female Captain Britain would help their ratio.
As excited as I am for this box, it makes me worry about the future of the game.
August is a long ways off, and a lot of the hype and momentum around this game will be gone. They really needed to come back with a huge release to build excitement, but I don’t think the general game-playing public cares about X-Force.
Deadpool will get people excited, but not the other characters.
This is a great release for Marvel X fans, but not so much for most players.
I wish they hadn’t given us 2 heroes at a time during the last cycle. If they were going to extend the cycle for a whole year, why didn’t they spread out the hero pack releases and mojo set?
