You'd be better off getting a Radeon 7850. That card has GCN and can do Vulkan.

But still even if the 7850 DX12 it is still api level11_1 (and games like God of War, Elder Ring) and many more won't run in future.

I'm sorry that you're having trouble installing the correct driver for your Radeon HD 6950. What operating system are you running? I'm not sure what driver you need, but this link should help: www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-600.
did you run the most recent Genshin Impact 2.3 patch?
This test was conncluded a month a go. To be honest i don't know what patch was it.
Pretty sure it will run just the same now.

Great card for most games at 1080p.
Interesting that you've managed to get BF5 running on it, BF1 wouldn't run cause of too old driver and spoofing driver version would result in some MIGHTY artifacting.
Reply: Thank you for watching! It definitely took some tweaking and experimenting to get BF5 running on the AMD Radeon HD 6950, but it was worth it in the end. RX560 is more powerfull. It can play Witcher 3 on ~medium 60FPS or almost ultra +30FPS.
