We all enjoy stories and every video is a miniature story. We get to go on an adventure with him and we do not know what he will find. There’s that tension about whether he will get stuck or will he be able to get the vehicle out. We were created to want to hear stories and to tell our stories. That’s what we watch these videos and then tell others about these videos. The biggest story is about how Jesus came to earth And rescued us by dying on the cross, but there is not a good video about it so we won’t want to watch it.

Ok Matt, since it´s obvious that you have plenty of experience and are a very good driver, I have an idea for your channel:
How about you give us small tips while recovering cars? what to do and not to do in the situations you find.
I´ve been stuck in the mud once or twice; since there are no recovery services in my country, on one occasion I was forced to leave my truck in a mudpit for the night.
For example explain how to avoid getting stuck on a particular situation or how to get out if you are alone.

Common sense is the best thing available. Like don't push you 2wd SUV (hiunday tucson) on heavy offroad trails where you would have troubles even walking. Most important rule in snow and mud, once you're moving don't stop if it's not urgent. Secondly don't overspin the tires and create a rocking movement, shift in drive gently press the accelerator, quick shift in reverse press the accelarator. Balancing back and forth will help you a lot. If this does not help, call Matt!

Romeo hello, I SEE YOU MENTIONED COMMON SENSE, but I regret to inform you that COMMON SENSE has exited, from MOST BRAINS, this is something I have been observing for OVER 50 YEARS

Nice recovery Matt! Love your videos! Would love a video on your recovery equipment. Like what size/strength bungee strap you use, your shackles, connection points to different kinds of vehicles/situations etc.

we need more videos..........I know that there are alot more unskilled drivers out there, I know I just got back from Moab and I saw many drivers that should not have been behind the wheel. I love your videos and your can-do- attitude.

I think it is a good lesson on what conditions can and do exisist out there...from deep deep sand roadside, to clay that once it lightly rains becomes slimy. ...to snow

Best (ego) recovery yet! Phew! LOL I just starting watching these a few weeks ago and really enjoy and learn things about 4 wheels. I have a 2002 Ford Explorer and love the thing, do all my own maintenance and wench work unless it's beyond my abilities and work area. I had to call in a recovery myself about 10 years ago in the snow in the mountains above Yosemite Nat'l park and my 4 wheel drive froze up. I have a lot of respect for you guys.

Just goes to show that most people don't know how to maximize their vehicle. Instead of spending money on hardware, they should invest in driver training. Matt, just like an artist's paintbrush is an extension of their hand, your Jeep is a part of you.
