I’ll bet that Jeep ride was pretty exciting for a couple of seconds! The icing on the cake was the poor on Jeep fired up! It would have been poetic if it could have come out under its own power. Those XJs are little brutes! Nice recovery, Casey & Co.
Just livin an old CW McCall record! “Dawgonite RoyJean, when I tell you to put a rock under the wheel I mean ROCK! Look what you got there, bout bigger than a grapefruit!” 😂 Very funny song!
This is why I got an XJ. It still ran and even the Cherokee badges didn't give up. A modern vehicle would be totaled, but you can simply hack the back off to make it a ute, put new wheels and tires on, had a good story to tell.
I had a 2004 keep Cherokee. I pulled it out of the garage(colb January morning) put it park and walked away (to get our luggage) and left the door open.industrial walked in front when it jumped into reverse and slammed the door into the garage. I was on fast idle and it’s all wheel drive and it was bouncing and burning rubber like crazy. Folded the door all of the way back. I had to jump in the passé and turned off the key. What a way to start off the new year (2009)).
Forty years ago my buddy Rich and I were both stationed at Torrejon. We were partying out a Lake Sacedon in Spain. When we came around a corner there was a car in the middle of the road on its roof and there was a woman next to it, she was hysterical. I pulled over, looked at Rich and I said "are you ready?" Meaning we're going to get out and help. Well we got out to assist, I could speak enough Spanish to determine the owner had forgotten to set the E brake and the car rolled off of the ~200 ft cliff. No one was in the car at the time. Relieved, Rich and I headed back to the car and continued partying. Oh the crazy times we had!
Always chock the wheels and leave it in gear. If facing “uphill” leave in 1st gear, if facing downhill, leave in reverse. For automatics, leave in Park. An awful thing to happen to anyone, good that nobody was injured. 😊 Good job Casey and to your mate for filming. 👍👍🦘🇦🇺🦘
Watching that Jeep come from vertical to sitting on it’s front axle without much impact captivated me and I still don’t think I understand exactly how that was accomplished. Very impressive!!
Looks like a good time. Great job. This is exactly why we refer to you down south. Thanks for taking care of him!! One of these days I’ll drive down there and we need to go have some fun.
Damn good rigging and selection of recovery process. The way that 4wd was eased down to the ground is a "In your face" sign of recovery costumer concern and straight up professionalism. Good on you Casey!!!
I noticed that your sunglasses holder on your XJ was dropped down... That happened a lot on the XJ that I had... The edges on it were rather sharp and I shaved a bit of skin from the top of my head quite a few times when getting into the vehicle.. I was in the Jeep dealership's service department for something else and mentioned it to them and they fixed it by installing a piece of Velcro (the fuzzy side) on the portion of the holder that rotates into the compartment... It would still come down when you intentionally pushed it to unlatch it, but hitting bumps would no longer make it come down... I also took a fine file and smoothed the edges so that if it did drop down, it hopefully wouldn't be able to shave the skin off the top of my head...
Hey Casey off-road and Recovery!, again always give a thumbs-up to your videos!! Versus the game show host Network; Matty's side-by-side recovery!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Well now he can fix it up to be a real buggy . Shucks that's the only way to have one hit rocks no worries just keep on having fun. That's the only way to have a toy have one that doesn't matter have years and years of nothing but fun. Great job Casey
Case it looks like you taught snow white to waltz looked like a beer can job for sure . U the man makes impossible look easy that is why you get these jobs
forgot to mention "remove before flight" bit on the credits. great job on rigging the winch lines. i would have totally botched that job somehow and made it worse
That was the perfect execution of an impromptu plan made by one of the best in the industry. Damn dude, that was awesome!
You sir truly have the art of soft smooth and controlled recovery down to an art form.
Gotta say that was a text book rescue. Awesome job Casey.
I can't see how it could have gone any better, well done.
I’ll bet that Jeep ride was pretty exciting for a couple of seconds! The icing on the cake was the poor on Jeep fired up! It would have been poetic if it could have come out under its own power. Those XJs are little brutes! Nice recovery, Casey & Co.
It was a great recovery. Luckily he wasn't in the Jeep
Beautiful how you pivoted that Jeep. Well done!
Still all in all a great rescue Casey
This was very well done....
That was impressive, laid that rig down nice and soft, and pulled it out of there.
That was a good job rigging and saving his rig impressive
“Saving his rig” is a very diplomatic way of putting it.
Got it done before dark too! Nice that he was able to start it also!
Just livin an old CW McCall record!

Looking forward to the Jeep Comanche conversion!
I have a 97 TJ Wrangler Sahara built to the max. I love Jeeps I also have an 06 trail rated liberty. Both are fun to drive. Long live Jeeps
Nice job!! Good plan and perfect execution. The mark of a TRUE pro.
Thanks 👍
That's not a Cheree-O-kee, that's a Cheree-Oh-Sh--!! Well done Casey. You set that thing down on it's wheels like you knew what you were doing!

Gotta love it when a plan comes together.
Hope you have a great Thanks Giving.
Casey and Sumter Wrecker! Don't need a rotator, just common ingenuity. Nice job fellas.
I am amazed that the rig started up after that!!! Great job of getting the rig back on 4 wheels!!!
Thanks 👍
Would be a great Jeep commercial. Starts right up, even if you go off a 100' cliff
Really cool recovery guys, thanks for the fun video! 😎
Glad you enjoyed it!
Always stick large rocks behind your tires, just in case the parking brake fails. Park is only a little pin in the transmission.
Or invest in a cheap tire chock.
When I said a ROCK I mean a ROCK!! That was no bigger than a grapefruit.
@@monkeybusiness63 CW McCall, Black Bear Road.
Dam that looked sketchy as all get out. Wow Casey almost to 50 k subs, let get you there by the new year. Cone on guys .
Thanks
That was a very wise and beautiful job gentleman 👍👍👍😎 and to the ones who may not know 🤔
You did a great job sitting that rig down in the wash. Talent.
Thanks 👍
Wow!! That would have been a wild ride! I’m glad it was unoccupied.

The client seemed in good spirits, fix the running gear and keep driving now he doesn’t have to worry about dents!
seemed to go pretty smooth for such a sticky situation, professional 👍 glad there was no one inside that would have been a wild ride.
Nice touch on the winches there. Couldn't have dome much better with a rotator. Thanks for taking us along.
You bet

Good one Casey, nice thought on how to go about the recovery. Nice smooth job and thanks.for sharing. Stay safe as always 😊
Looked to me, Casey has this done *once or twice before* . :-)
Easy stuff be home for supper
Nicely done. I like the rigging videos, I learn quite a bit from each one. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family sir.
Just when I thought I seen it or where it is what looks to be an impossible job gutter done hard to believe Casey never gives up never
Smooth landing! I expected it to hit harder. Forgot I was watching the master.
Thanks....had to have some luck, they don't always go as planned.
Got your video/channel from your helping Brain with his motorcycle hitch repair. Enjoyed seeing your recovery of the Jeep 👍👍✌️
Welcome aboard
Happy thanksgiving to you and yours. Thanks for keeping us entertained online.
controlled recovery, good Job Casey
You were being very gentle with something that is completely rooted!
it's really good to be handled by people who are in the field
Looks like it had plenty of upper cylinder lubrication upon start up.
Outstanding rigging job!!
That's a good reminder to steer your front wheels the right way when parking on a hill.
Wow there is a mishap I wouldn't want to experience, well done.
Watching that Jeep come from vertical to sitting on it’s front axle without much impact captivated me and I still don’t think I understand exactly how that was accomplished. Very impressive!!
Great Job Mr. Casey! Happy Thanksgiving to you & your family!
Same to you!
That actually went pretty smooth! it didn’t even got dark
Looks like a good time. Great job. This is exactly why we refer to you down south. Thanks for taking care of him!! One of these days I’ll drive down there and we need to go have some fun.
Sounds like a good time
Oops.... Good job getting it out of there. That would have been a heck of a ride!
Always turn your steer wheels in the proper direction when on a hill. I learned that in my truck driving days.
All your vids should be that long and that entertaining. Good job bud.
Damn good rigging and selection of recovery process. The way that 4wd was eased down to the ground is a "In your face" sign of recovery costumer concern and straight up professionalism. Good on you Casey!!!
Thanks Karl. We take our responsibilities pretty serious.
Since he was at the bottom it was only a mile out... . Tough little jeep fired right up.
Bravo...way to go Casey-Florence Texas
Great job flipping it over . It went just like planned , I thought it would flop on the side . Awesome job guys .
My goodness Casey, you do yourself what takes your friends a whole team to do! Haha. Gotta tease Matt and his crew a bit.
No luck there,a proper job.
Great vid.
Thanks.
RAAAD recovery, Casey.
That was some impressive winching. Well done!
Did not get time to comment when posted, took three tries to watch when things get busy. 👀✔️ 👍
Did ya have a runner?
I rolled my truck last week. This makes me feel better.
Almost looked like a ballet. Great job Casey. 😎👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
Good job Casey and crew.
Falls 100ft fires right back up and is ready for more. Gotta love the xj some of the toughest vehicles and engine made.
Similarly mine went over a cliff and was pancaked years ago. Swapped the power train into a roller chassis and its running til this day.
That Jeep looks like a good rock crawler project now.
Good job Casey I thought you were going to lose it. Seriously thought it was going to rollover. But you pulled it off. You da man👍👍👍
Thanks 👍

Well done. A little thought makes such a difference.
Little damage for going down 100 feet. That'll buff out.

The impossible we do straight away, miracles take a little longer. Now where did I see that ad for a Sikorski helicopter, but DON'T TELL BECKY.
Great job. Good project to build.
Nice recovery Casey.
And this why I carry two large rubber wheel chocks in my jeep even though it's a manual
As graceful as can be!
Nice closing time, a little boogie woogie....
Tune not time ... 🤣
Nice technical winch.
