We are On the Road Again, this time for a very dangerous High Country recovery for an Artic Cat Trail machine. We gathered up the old Stinger for the back of the Jeep and headed to our waypoint. This is country I am very familiar with and spend a ton of time recovering in the back country of the Arizona Strip. You better be on your game, because if something happens, you are on you own and help is hours away! That means the Jeep is stocked with ample supplies tools, food, communications and anything else you may need! We pulled it off without dying and it was just like another day at the office at Casey's Off Road Recovery. 20 plus years of doing this I can admit this one got under my skin.....just a little tiny bit. Good times on the mountain. Thanks for coming along for the ride. Casey
Sounds like australia. I can’t remember if I have asked you about using a stiff bar? Trailer hitch and two angled bars to pick up tow points under the front of most vehicles (over here most people have a pair of heavy recovery points) to give more control of the vehicle being towed.
This was brilliant Casey! What an adventure and a cool take on date night (day 🤔). I've seen other comments and your explanations about the Stinger, so I now know it's a Casey Custom Creation 😀 Very cool and was great for this job. The old homestead was a bonus. The property and surrounding landscape looked like it could have been a set location for Breaking Bad!
My 2021 lifted Tacoma with 34’s would have already burned up the motor at the 10 min mark from oil starvation, apparently they don’t like climbing hills for very long : o Oh what a feeling… Love the show and channel !!!!!!!
The last time you used the stinger I remember it was a similarly exciting time although shorter. Nice job getting that SxS out. That was quite a storm you ran into. Thanks for taking us along.
Wow! That was crazy!!! And, top it all off with a freaking hail storm. Glad you pulled off the road. Was afraid your windshield was going to break. Glad all is well and everyone is safe. The video footage was outstanding.
Casey thanks for sharing us this beautiful video, it gives us to enjoy the incredible Utah’s landscapes your “office” the drone‘s view’s are awesome!!! Becky’s camera girl is great. And Poppy is a real roadrunner dog. It’s incredible how dogs enjoy car’s/trucks trips. Greetings from Chile.
I live in flat country where a lot of the yahoos set their trucks up like your Cher-y-oh-kee. Costs a ton of money most of them can't afford, and none of them ever see terrain like you conquered here. You're living their dream. Nice recovery.
Neat little contraption you made for towing out the rig. Cool spot as well. I am sure nerve racking coming off that hill with all the weight behind you.
Thanks for doing a live release and being here in chat Casey. And thank you and Becky for the awesome video. Glad to see Poppy having such a great time running! 👍
Dude, you need to show a lot more appreciation to your Beautiful Wife than you do. It don't hurt to tell her " Thank you " and really mean it from time to time.
Wow! This was a hard rescue with the long distance to get to the rescue, the ruggedness, and steepness of the trail and the very difficult towing required for the trail and then add a horrendous hailstorm on the road back. I was worn out just watching it, but Poppy kept urging me on and I made it to the end. Poppy is a "SUPER DOG". Great VIDEO!!! I need to go rest now. I'm really tired! Thanks for the really great video and camera work!
That’s a neat idea for the tow rig. My dog would have been freaking out with the hail storm. He hides and shakes even before the storm arrives. He’s better than the weather man.
Poppy was what I called my grandfather whenever I see your dog poppy in a video it always makes me smile and think of all the good times we had together give your poppy an extra treat tonight for my poppy
I have been wheelin' and riding dirt bikes since I was 13. At 59, I keep looking at SXS's then I see all these recoveries and their carnage and think I will stick to jeeps and dirt bikes for a while longer.
WOW that was awesome Casey and Becky, what a team. That was a cool place ,maybe sketchy but you had Bec with ya. Thanks for the awesome vid guys can't wait for the next one.
Casey, that half paved half dirt road we call the "Apache Road" because it's full of patches. It's also a very spiritual road because it's show holy. Supposedly, the road was built/paved by people working for Howard Hughes in 1950s. Clark County has no record of this road being paved.
Becky and Casey , you really worked for this recovery and we thank you for your efforts for taking us along as well . Just curious what was that house used for in its day? Great music for this video as well as walking up to the abandoned house 👍. After watching Poppy all video I'm glad you showed him at the end exhausted. Great views but rough trails for the Cheriokee. Well hope your winshield survived the storm and thanks both of you for sharing, as always stay safe.
Funny how some of the big off road channels would have an outing like this as their “premier” content, and for you it’s just another “day on the job”. 👍👍
Quite a day you had yourself. Great job on towing that thing out of there. Just getting into that sort of area can be a challenge, trying to drag out a disabled vehicle, You're the man.
Very cool!! I really enjoy these recoveries; when I was younger, back home in Montana, my friend and I were the backwoods recovery guys. Pre-cell phone days, so they’d call for help on the CB. We had to run off bears, drag broken trucks off logging trails and out of the mud. Dragged a pickup loaded with hay out of a snowy ditch and the highway patrol who stopped to check on him and slipped his cruiser into the ditch. I would have given a body part for a winch back then!! No kinetic rope either: logging chain and cables Really dig the tow arm!! That’s cool!!! Simple and effective wins every time!!
Congrats on getting to the 50k subscriber mark. It is drives like this that reminds me of the various landscape formations that make Southern Utah such a breathtaking place to live. I think their is beauty everywhere in our great Country.
Awesome recovery job Casey. When I saw the missing front wheel I wondered how on earth you'd get that thing back down that trail, didn't spot the lift arm until then, guess I wasn't paying enough attention earlier in the video. The whole recovery was beautifully executed. Way more thoughtful than dragging that thing out on it's belly on the end of a rope. Who'd do a thing like that huh ? The abandoned house struck me as really sad, perfect choice of music to accompany that bit Becky, and as always, great editing. Regards from Wales UK.
Great video, thanks for sharing your work with us. I'm impressed by how well that travelled behind the Jeep, much better than I expected when I first saw the stinger.
Cool old house, it looks like Tuco's desert hideout from the beginning of the "Breaking Bad" series! That homemade hitch mounted wrecker style lift is mint too!
Thanks for the ride ! A bit too dramatic on the way home, I liked you guys took a stop on the roadside to let the hail pass by. Better safe and late, than sorry and crashed.
Darn ! Missed the live stream ( had to werk ) oh , hey ! That's that new fangled three wheeled drive side by side I heard about . Thanks again for taking us along for the ride out in some beautiful country . Great video work Ms Becky !
I'm impressed the puny brakes on the Cherokee didn't over heat. Impressive driving, looks like the terrain I grew up in over in Ethiopia/Eritrea. Always a thumbs up 👍
That was an awesome video!!! Not your pop’m out of the sand be done rescue. What a great lift attachment for towing stuff Thanks for all your effort in making these videos. Be Safe
GREAT job filming, Becky!!! It's difficult for people to understand how steep and hazardous these trails can be unless they are there. Excellent job on the recovery, Casey. Love Poppy.

Once again Poppy has the staring role, what a lucky Cattle Dog that gets to run free so much.
You are a miracle worker! Unbelievable patience. I hope they paid you well!
WHOO! now I can breath.... that was quite the ride. I found myself holding my breath and on the edge of my seat. You made it tho', praise God.
Lucky to have a great friend like Poppy 👍✊
Thanks to you and wife
It is amazing how much energy your dog has. Need extra food for her just in case you get stranded.
Videos never do justice when it comes to inclines or declines. Great job as always!

As nerve racking as stuff like that is in some sick way I find it fun. At least once you’ve safe it was fun.
that dog cracks me up LOL
Double thumbs up to Becky. She is a trooper.

When a road looks steep on camera,it's steep!
Good work...thanks for takin us along!
Whoa, some tough country you tackled there but very beautiful. Take care of yourself and those you love, and thanks for taking us along.
Dude, you need to show a lot more appreciation to your Beautiful Wife than you do.
It don't hurt to tell her " Thank you " and really mean it from time to time.
25 years of Marriage I got it covered!
@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery -- ROOKIE ! Just hit 45 in June.
Wow Congrats!
that dog is a good one he waits for you to come
I like that mini tow boom you’ve got for the Jeep! Pretty slick!
It works really good
“If I’m not a nervous Nellie”. Don’t think so. Brave couple you are. Great dog. Nice video of a real challenge. Enjoyed.
That was one heck of a recovery and 1 scary ride home with that hailstorm. 😳 Poppy looks exhausted
She put on 20 miles.
Great video, the dogs crazy to run all that time!
That was a heck of a day at the office!
Who needs wrecker. Good idea Casey! 😁

Great old house tour.
Man was like you were driving through the middle of a snowball fight! At least the hail seemed to be not solid.
Awesome high country rescue, steep roads/trails, good ole desert cloudburst and gully washer. Thanks Casey and Becky!
Poppy was what I called my grandfather whenever I see your dog poppy in a video it always makes me smile and think of all the good times we had together give your poppy an extra treat tonight for my poppy
Great rescue Casey. I love you channel so please keep the videos coming. You just seem so down to earth and honest with what you do.
The two of you do a great job together.

I said that and my shoulder tells me otherwsie....lol
That was a heck of a trip to get that thing! Then finish the day with some rain and hard water (hail)!

love that stinger tow rigging! 👍 Good plan taking that steep decent one bite at a time🙏🏻
23 miles in from the truck that’s no joke 👍 i’m surprised you made it home before dark.😎
Longer Days..lol

That Stinger is a neat piece of gear. Worked great. I've not seen the like of it before. Job got done. Yay.
You made it up the mountain without any problems, so going down should be a piece of cake.
Hail, hail the gangs all here!

Wow that was pretty wicked hail storm.
Nerves of steel and balls of iron. Your experience carries you well. Great job Beck and Casy.
Casey, another day in the office? You made the correct decision in that storm I love how all the highway heroes don’t slow to the conditions. 🇦🇺
Great adventure. Thanks for sharing.
Great video, thanks for sharing your work with us.
I'm impressed by how well that travelled behind the Jeep, much better than I expected when I first saw the stinger.
It took some perfecting and adjusting, but clips along 35 40
I Love how you built that Recovery Setup! Great Video! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Bernard

Thanks for all your effort in making these videos. Be Safe
That is for sure. Those Sand Dunes and regular lame recoveries rarely get filmed. Lol
The SXS tow wrecker receiver hitch system is awesome
Should Patent it. LOL 3-2-1 it now goes mainstream!
@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery we all saw it here FIRST👍 patent that thing quick!
What a great pup brother...
Wow! that hail storm was something else!
That was some amazing country. Thanks for sharing. Those were some serious slush bombs at the end there.
GREAT job filming, Becky!!! It's difficult for people to understand how steep and hazardous these trails can be unless they are there. Excellent job on the recovery, Casey. Love Poppy.
Camera does it no justice that is for sure
Neat tow rig you have there.
That hail storm was something else...
The drone footage really shows the angle of incline on that hill you were going up.
One word - Helicopter! Imagine the recoveries you could do if you had one of those 😜
This would have been about an $8,800 hoist tobpull it out of where it was at. We have done several.
Poppy: I'm tired boss, dog tired! Great recovery Casey!!
Excellent work!! You two make a great pair 🙂
Well done.
Thanks for sharing one of your many Adventures!
thats one hellava hitch casey
Thanks for keeping things real. And great to see you’re ingenuity on making a tow vehicle.
In 3-2-1 it becomes mainstream..lol Should have blurred it out. lol
That was fun. Thanks for sharing.
Fun video. That pup sure can go.
I like the winch setup genius
Hi from the 🇬🇧
