  • We are On the Road Again to recover a broken down Can Am four wheeler with tracks and a Snowmobile. They were located on Brian Head Mountain in Southern Utah. At over 10,000 feet elevation we had a lot of snow to deal with. We loaded the Noddy and we will take you along for the ride. I am a total rookie at video editing, so I hope you enjoy it.
    Thanks for watching. Casey

There was a comment made by Matt in a response on Facebook. Matt said he was served a court order to cease and desist with any video that depicted Casey. Now obviously something happened before hand to cause such an action, but I have no idea nor do I want to guess what it was. Though the speed difference of how both channels have grown is huge. Matt is a million plus now.

Subbed and liked. Your 110 is the only one I've seen without a cab. I worked with Nodwells in the high arctic long ago and they all had awesome gas heaters for those -40 workdays, something not seen today due to CO risk.
Interesting that both tracked vehicles are Canadian. 2 Canadian tracked vehicles to collect yet another Canadian tracked vehicle. Not surprising when you understand around 95% of Canada is wilderness with no road access and 20% of all terrain above the 60th parallel is muskeg.
I hope they don't let you down. 100,000 oil workers in Alaska and northern Canada love that 110! Even Russians are big fans of Nodwell and Foremost. Best wishes for your future tracked endeavors!

With the equipment I have, the easiest way is a tree strap and two soft shackles from where the skis attach to the suspension. I worked in Prudhoe Bay on and off for about 35 years and I used to ride is some pretty cool rigs for the first few hours then it wasn’t so cool. I’ve been in those big rig with the real wide smooth tires driven by rollers, they do about 12 MPH. I’d ride in these going to remote drill sites with our communications module, generator, satellite dish and tower materials. We’d set up communications for the remote drill sites they built on ice pads.

Love watching these videos. But frankly, another snowmobile could have rescued the broken down sled. Tows easiest with no rider and a Y rope from the towing vehicle to each ski of the towed sled, belt removed. Towed sleds 20 miles that way at 25 mph on the straights. Unbroken trail in deep snow would be an issue, but as long as you aren't breaking trail, all should be good.

Yup towed snowmobiles hundreds of times. This was 100 percent trail breaking the entire way of about 2 feet of dry powder, wind blown snow. The tracked four wheeler may have gone out on a sled as well, but not towed by a snowmobile.

Not that it really matters but I was thinking after I saw how the unit sat on your trailer after you parked, if you would have gained enough traction or not to climb that last slippery section by temporarily moving the Nodwell as far forward as you could on the trailer, probably overloading the pickup in the process though.

It was slowly creeping I didn't want to get sideways...so I stopped and just had Matt hook me up.

Just curious. What was broke on the Can Am? Been thinking about getting tracks for my quad, and it would be nice to know the pitfalls.

Lack of use and ethanol fuel. Keep Non Ethanol fuel and use them often.

You want them from Thunderbirds playing while driving the snow cats
