We head to Sand Hollow State Park for the first ever E3 Off Road Trail Takeover! What we think will be a laid back day on the trails, turns into an epic day of off roading as drivers challenge their vehicles - with nothing but smiles.

I think some of us just don't have the money for a Wrangler, so we go to war with the army we've got. My WK was the one that broke the front drive shaft - but that's the first time in the four years I've had it that something broke off-road, and I've been out with LiteBrite three times! Yep, Energy is their name!

I have my JKU, but also a WJ, it's not 4wd, unfortunately, but I'd love to purchase and build one, one day.
Those don't seem to get as much love, but I love my WJ, plus with the v8, it's a beast. Just wish it were 4wd.

I am always thrilled to see other H3s out on the trails.
He went straight home and put upgraded Kryptonite stuff on it! Shouldn’t be any failures this time 💪
Have you seen the H3T? They made truck versions of the H3 and they look sick
Do you have the inline 5 or v8? I had an 09 Colorado which is the same platform as the H3 and the inline 5 was a nightmare along with its transmission
first big upgrade for my rig was the Outfitter designs ex HD tie rods and rack reinforcement kit. Its a known weak point, but luckily an easy trailside fix. Great to see another H3 out on trail having fun.
I carry one inner and one outer tie rods as trail spares on my ‘09. Outfitter Design makes great stuff for H3s, I have their frt diff bushing kit. Anxiously awaiting their D50 ifs frt axle replacement.

! I'm on TV..! I can't thank you enough for all the fun and especially the encouragement. Third trail I've been with y'all and this was the first breakage. Front drive shaft was a stock RPezza joint shaft; should have replaced it years ago. Drove it out and in rear drive low only! Met Winder Towing at the highway. ColorCountry Auto built a new double cardon shaft, installed the next week. She's all ready for a couple of trails at Winter Jamboree! See y'all there! Bet Kevin 's repair costs more than mine. Hummer made me think of getting some spare tie rods too! LIteBriteNationLeadsTheWay!

Looks like a great time! Lot of cool rigs, and I gotta say I was impressed with that Tacoma making that climb. The broken H3 looks like a nice build other than the pretzel stick tie rods, I actually really like those, especially the 5.3 Alpha with the Adventure package. It's funny, I barely even wheel my 4Runner, but I have a spare inner and outer tie rod in the vehicle. Cheap insurance for a situation like this.
My dad had a scout. One of the most capable trucks ever. I remember he used to run over trees just driving through the woods. What a beast. Never got stuck
I think that Comanche was my favorite, I would totally daily it till winter, swap the doors, then continue to daily. Awesome ride man. Very clean.
Rock Rash is a little mountain goat. It's almost a point and shoot rig. I have a few OLD videos when it was still on leaf springs.
@@casperscustoms1578 Really wish they made the Renegade based Comanche over the Gladiator. Sure the Renegade is a "city" Jeep, but with the level of modification Jeeps tend to go through who cares. After all the mods it will be a stout little off roader. And we need more small truck and less behemoths that never tow or touch dirt.

Rock Rash and the Tow Pig both got a workout that weekend. Crushed the right rear bed corner on the toll booth. And the Ultra 4 feels heavier than the comanche on the trailer.

Scout fan here too, I owned two scouts in the 1970's, a Scout II 348 and a ice cube scout.

@@danepedersen6770 No more Scouts, I am about to get out of Tacomas and into a new trd pro 4runner next couple months, been running tacoma's since 80's.
Holy cow that ultra 4 car is the dopest rig ever!!!!!! And it has one million dollars worth of Baja design lights on the front! I love it! Thanks Brit and Kevin and Chris! I love this channel.
