the way u need to remove the compressor cover is loosen the bolts a bit the clamp housing and spin the center assembly so it splits the silione if u hammer it the clearences are so tight the blades smash in to inside of the compressor cover this can danage both the compressor cover and the compressor wheel blades
What cartridge did you replace it with? I’m doing the same thing to my VF 48 but I don’t know which cartridge to get.
