Thank you for sharing your beautiful roses and perennials, Lin. I do not have any of your collection. I have quite a few David Austin roses - golden celebration, Queen of Sweden, Roald Dahl, the lark ascending, Eustacia Vye and Wollerton Old Hall (climber) are all favourites!

    Hi Lin,
Beautiful roses in your garden ♥️♥️🌹🌹♥️♥️
In an attempt at feedback....IF...I heard you correctly, this is your second Charlene de Monaco.....I too purchased this variety, and by the look of the nursery pot yours was delivered in, I believe I might have purchased it from the same grower as yourself. I bought two varieties from them, and subsequently both had to be replaced. And both replacements are very laggardly in their progress at this moment in time.

Hi Peter. Yes, my 2nd PCdM. I dare not repot her yet. I have baby buds and will show the flower when it blooms. Mine is rare as most people’s have died. Guard it like treasure 😂

Your garden is full of Beautiful roses. I planted Leonardo da Vinci & Eden 88 ( both bareroot standard tree roses) in March and now coming along fine. My PCDM ( now in 62L pot) is little ahead of yours as it has three large size blooms ( similar size to Princess Alexandera of Kent). You can up-pot your PCDM now. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful video of lovely roses.

Hi Raj. Leonardo da Vinci and Eden 88 are both fantastic roses. Ok, I’ll find a nice pot for my PCdM next week.

I am waiting to see what sort of show your Florentina puts on - it's looking very promising. Personally, and not based on any rose expertise, I would not cut any of those stems - it could be amazing if they all flower (and I hate to cut back things which are putting so much effort into growing). You can always cut back next year if you think you got it wrong this year.

Hi Nik. I’ll leave the new canes alone then. Let them do its thing and check back on it later. Thanks for advice!

Awesome, loved that. I watched this video with a smile on my face you are 100 percent in the groove now. I’ve said it already and it makes me smile. :)
I’m jealous of your PCDM and distant drums. My pcdm died. My distant drums is only now starting to show signs of doing anything at all.
Your Florentina, if it were mine I would at this time of year leave alone. I would just leave it and let it do its own thing. More stems more flowers. Next year prune and tinker shape in early spring. But that’s just what I would do of it were mine. Lovely video rose wife :)

You flatter me ☺️Thanks for the tip about Florentina. I shall leave all the new canes alone. Hope your DD improves and show us your first bloom.

We are missing out on Meilland Roses in the UK. It seems we have very few growers of these wonderful Roses with just the odd one here and there etc.

Lovely garden, Lin 🌹❤️ thanks for beautiful video! I ve got Perennial Blue as standard tree. She looks wonderful in any variety i think. The only thing is she bloomed once last year. On some sources it says that she is repeat flowering, others - once only. My tree gonna be second year and will see how many times shi is going to bloom. How about yours? Is she repeat bloomer or not? Thank you 🌹❤️

Hi Dilly. I heard rambling roses only have I big flush. Mine don’t repeat but the one flush last a long time as there are lots of buds.

Hi Gav. I’m “ happy to see “ my DD flower but I’m unimpressed with the colour. I thought the colour would pop a bit more. My Florentina is second year too. Something about German engineering, flowers are sturdy and long lasting like their cars !!!
