Another well sorted video, great info on the budget headers as well. People don't usually think things out before buying, I'm shocked that Z1 actually raised the prices on their own headers when they were the same price as Tomei back when I purchased. I don't see how anyone could justify paying more for the Z1 when it's not a complete kit and about the same quality as the Tomei.

Anthony ,excellent explanation on those headers. Nice touch finding an expert explaining the differences. Yes refinement and quality do cost more money. It all depends on your budget and what results you are expecting. You see soooo many aftermarket kits on Ebay that are cheap and perform poorly. Let the Buyer BEWARE. Still I'm curious on Dyno Graphs on the 3 different headers on a same car, Or 1/4 mile times. It may be hard to swallow spending $2000+ on an exhaust system to get a 5 hp gain or reduce your 1/4 mile times by 0.2 seconds.

Hey Anthony, I recently bought HR/VHR headers for my DE as this engine only has the Tomei headers as the best headers out there and the rest or even more expensive since Tomei is already out of budget. • @AnthonyJ350

I think factory HR headers will be a great improvement and more budget friendly. They'll also probably be easier to install. You'll probably have to move two studs on each side and you'll need to switch to an HR high flow catalytic converter. I highly recommend getting your headers Cerakoted in order to help keep under hood temperatures down and run the factory heat shields from an HR if you can as well and have them coated as well.
