For anyone looking for the Remote Starter and Security system www.viper.com/car/securityremotestart/product/5806v/viper-led-2-way-security-and-remote-start-system
Every other English speaking country seems to (I'm Canadian). Americans think I'm wrong all the time, both pronunciations are acceptable to me. Sometimes one sounds better than the other depending.
Ya I hope they keep making it, there isn't really anything like it for the money. There's the Caymen but it's a lot more money and not as easy to tinker with.
Sweet, another great vid! As you may know I have done some similar mods from your advice. My stereo is similar, but i kept stock tweeter location (and look) by removing the tweeters from their plastic enclosures and I put my amps inside the factory bose sub area, but i don't have a 2nd battery and all the grounds upgrades (yet). My sub is in a box under the strut bar that separates the trunk into 2 compartments, it does eat up some space but i like the separation, it's easily removable for the spare or larger cargo (yeah right). I do think it could use some freshening up in the lighting dept with quicker response led's. I'm coming from 90's japanese cars so I'm trying to hang on to some of the older school feel of the car, but I'd really like led replacement bulbs that are nice and warm like the tungsten bulbs they'll replace, everything i've seen on the aftermarket is too bright and white for me. Please point me towards anything like that if you've seen it. I can find the vids for the bigger tail light replacements you've done, but i like the little details, and making all the amber feel correct inside the car at night. Also can you recommend a certain model upgraded alternator with ease of installation/replacement over stock in mind, I'm an ok wrench but i've got a bad back. My birthday's coming up soon so i hope i can get the wife to get me the clutch pedal mod and i'll do that, also using your vids, but i could prob use a bit of guidance or general help about the HR motor tranny setup and its differences if you've seen a good place anywhere on the interwebs. Again, lovin the Z vids. Thanks for the time you put into making them, and making them well. Keep'em up before you park it for the winter!
Glad you liked this one as well! That sounds like a solid sound setup. Did you add some sound deadening? As for the lights I have not seen any LED lights that have the same temperature colour as their incandescent variants so you'll have to go with the fancy modern look if you want LED lighting. I would check out Z1 Motorsports' website for other mods you want especially for some HR specific stuff. I think you're going to love the clutch pedal when you get it.
Yeah i added some local deadening. Dynamat speaker packs and baffles for the woofers, pie cut and almost just like your install vid. I don't want to pay for more dynamat though bc it's real expensive and i added enough sound to just drown out what ended up being way less rattles than i expected. Alpine type r components front and older type r woofers in back. Type r 10" sub with a pioneer headunit for the right look and amber matching, i didn't want a nav or touch screen. 4x75W for the full range and 1x1000W for the sub is more than enough for that little car. It's tuned more for quality at high volume than bass banging. The sub box fits under the strut bar, facing rear and separates the trunk into two sections, which i actually kinda like. Thanks for the tip on that site, it's like toys-r-us for Z cars, i don't know how i've not come across it yet but i can't wait to go through all of it.
Ya you don't have to put a ton of sound deadening to be effective, it's good you have some in there. Ya it's a cool site, you might be interested in their clutch slave cylinder fix for the HR.

Nice vid man, just got my z a couple of days ago. Any link or video on those switchback leds in the front and the ones in the rear? those are fucking awesome. Subbed to you, lookin forward to more Z vids.
CantHandletheTruthh Check the cards out I posted links in there. If you check out my 350Z playlist my channel I a bunch of 350Z videos you probably want to check out.
Hey, thanks for the reply man, will check those out. Also I had a question regarding my LED headlights installed by previous owner, you seem to really know your shit electrical wise, cant find any answers online thru forums etc, anywhere I can pm you? Would appreciate it.

Hey Anthony, still really enjoying all these 350 videos. I need your car audio expertise. I completely re-did the sound system on my 350 (with new speakers + added a sub and a 5 ch amp). I am always getting a constant hum sound, not so much static, coming from my components at all times when the amp is powered on. When i rev the car, the pitch of the hum seems to go up with it. Could this be an alternator issue? I have the Pioneer Appradio4 head unit installed and I've read that these are notorious for having crappy grounds; would pulling out the head unit and grounding the RCA's better potentially fix this? I think the amp is grounded well.. Thanks in advance.
Nice! Always like to hear people upgrading their audio. Did you run the RCA's far from the power for the amp? Also I'd try running a long ground for the head unit and ground it at the same place as the amplifier. How did you ground the amp btw?
Haha, I appreciate the late night reply. I just went down to go check; The RCA's run along the driver side door sill and the amp power runs along the passenger side door sill so I think that is good. As for the amp ground, I have my amp mounted in the same spot as yours, except on the driver side. As I have the nismo model, I naturally have just a cover and no factory sub so I did not want to waste that space. I ran a very short ground to a factory bolt attached to the medal body of the car. This bolt is located just behind the driver seat retractor mechanism thingy. A picture would really help here lol.
Also, I know that when my imput sensitivity switch for the components on my amp is set to 100mV-2V rather than 2V-8V, there is practically no noise at all. My reasoning behind using the 2V-8V is because the 100mV-2V does not max out at a music-listening volume that is acceptable; At highway speeds, maxed out volume is not enough at all. I blindly played around with these switches after installation until I got what felt right. Could this noise just be the cause of my input sensitivity settings? Or can this noise be better managed?
Here's a link for the rear lights: rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_id=114&ipn=icep&toolid=20004&campid=5337982243&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FSmoke-Lens-All-In-One-LED-Turn-Signal-Backup-Brake-Light-For-03-09-Nissan-350Z-%2F142414215208%3Fhash%3Ditem21288c7828%3Ag%3Aog0AAOSwyWZZRBFR%26vxp%3Dmtr
It's a Viper 5806V with the SmartStart module added on. Pricing will vary for installation because I installed as many features and sensors as I could. The brains have the ability to control everything but it's up to the installer to have the ability to make the connections. If you go to a Viper authorized dealer they should be able to do the same installation.
It's pretty overkill. Here's the video. ruclips.net/video/mkWCqSfr6ig/видео.html I would also recommend running the ground for the head unit to the same point as where you're grounding your amp. That also helps a lot.
@anthonyj350 do you do electrical for cars in the lower mainland? The grounding mod looks interesting and I've been having some issues with the third brake light in my G35 coupe
Also make sure you check out my 350Z playlist. Not only do I have all my videos there but any cool related 350Z videos from other channels I find I put there as well.
Why are your headlights so damn shiny?!? Are they new or repaired? What'd you use to repair them if you did? Do you have some kind of xpel wrap over them? Or did you just polish them?
I get that comment a lot lol. I bought the car that way and to maintain that look I had Suntek paint protection installed on the front of the car including the head lights.
AnthonyJ350 my girlfriend lives out in the country so everytime she or I washes our cars they just end up coated in bugs within a week and they are so bad it actually started to ruin her paint and her car is a 2015 and she washes it (correctly) at least twice a week, would a clear wrap like that make the bugs practically fall off? (forget protecting the paint it's too late for that) we just want something to make it easier to clean, like a gust of wind would get rid of them kinda easy
Fireblaze x It is easier to clean but wrapping the front isn't cheap. Roughly $600 to $800. I would look into a good car polish, I use Liquid Glass on my car.
Here's the link for the car polish, it's really good. I'd just apply it twice a year. The first time you do it, apply a second coat a day or two after. rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_id=114&ipn=icep&toolid=20004&campid=5337982243&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FLG100-Liquid-Glass-Ultimate-Polish-16oz-FACTORY-FRESH-%2F201955249872%3Fepid%3D1217867741%26hash%3Ditem2f05788ed0%3Am%3Amf6Jugy7CnRr6YCIFQyE3YQ
I don't have a Z but I want one, but I have the big3 with 1/0 tinned pure copper wire and I have 2 runs going to 2 more batteries in the back, audio enthusiasts have 10 plus batteries, and now lithium, of course I wouldn't that to a Z because we want the lightest Z to get better times, btw I like ur audio setup, outstanding, I realize this post is 2 yo, but I'm catching up to most of the Z channels.
Hey, not sure if know this information or not, but how do you pair a 1 way Viper fob with the system? I have a spare one of these: www.keylessentryremotefob.com/VIPER-EZSDEI472-Factory-OEM-KEY-FOB-Keyless-Entry-p/viper%20ezsdei472.htm but have no idea how to pair it. Got it with my G35 so I didn't install the Viper originally, however this one doesn't work with it. Thanks!
For the lady in your life you can actually buy sensors that you mount under the rear of the car that detect when you put your leg under so you can just move your foot under the car to release the trunk. Can make it a little easier if your hands are full but the trunk will still need that last release by hand on these cars haha
How much did your Viper system cost? I went on the website and set up something very similar, and it doesnt give me a price- just asks if i want to find a dealer or print it out (which just gives a summary with no quote)
Aiden is all Knowing A system to how I have it setup would be a little over $1,000. There's a lot of work and you need an experienced Tech to do it properly and make it look clean.
Aiden is all Knowing the reason for that is because viper or (directed) only sells them to dealers for example if I sell you an alarm I have to install it, I can't just give it to you, also if you find it on Amazon directed voids the 1 year warranty for buying it from a 3rd party
Overkill in what sense? You don't know they're there till I turn them on. I work as a 12 volt technician so I like to demonstrate what can be performed on a vehicle.
Why? I'm in Canada and that's how we're taught to say the letter in school. Also the rest of the Commonwealth pronounces it that way. It's interesting how Americans think their way is the only way...
For anyone looking for the Remote Starter and Security system www.viper.com/car/securityremotestart/product/5806v/viper-led-2-way-security-and-remote-start-system
How much did you pay for the Viper and the install. I want to upgrade so badly, just not sure what to expect. Did you do it yourself?
I guess it's quite off topic but do anybody know of a good place to stream new tv shows online ?
@Kannon Brixton Ehh I would suggest Flixportal. You can find it if you google:P -titan
@Titan Cameron Thanks, I went there and it seems like a nice service :D Appreciate it !
@Kannon Brixton glad I could help xD
6:16 guess that’s a perk of my Z being JDM, I like being on the same side as the fuel door
Agreed lol
First world problems
I just want you to do my 350z because the way your z is so clean. I only wish I could have all those aspects
You can if you work hard and save your money. Remember it took me a few years to get the car to this stage.
Thank god someone that actually pronounces it Zed!
Every other English speaking country seems to (I'm Canadian). Americans think I'm wrong all the time, both pronunciations are acceptable to me.
Sometimes one sounds better than the other depending.
Is it possible to have that key fob without the beeping sounds I find them kind of annoying
Nos Boiz You can turn off the audible confirmations
The radar location is very cool!
Thanks!
Holy shit your Z is clean ! This is soo clean
Thank you! Ya that was what I was going for. This is how I think it should have left the factory.
In a perfect world it would.. lets wait for a new Z. Hopefully it will stand up to its predecessors.
Ya I hope they keep making it, there isn't really anything like it for the money. There's the Caymen but it's a lot more money and not as easy to tinker with.
Yep. And all we need is :Manual/RWD/affordable/PLS V6!/around 300HP)

Dtop24 I think it’s not grounded right I’m jus guessing
What the percentage on you tint ?
50% up front and the car came with something like 25% in the back.
What Viper are you using in the 350z
Viper 5806V. It's the older brain which I think is way more reliable than the new DS4 units that are out now.
That Supra tho and the led light thing is a must for me imma do that for sure when I get my 350
Here's a link for the rear lights: rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_id=114&ipn=icep&toolid=20004&campid=5337982243&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FSmoke-Lens-All-In-One-LED-Turn-Signal-Backup-Brake-Light-For-03-09-Nissan-350Z-%2F142414215208%3Fhash%3Ditem21288c7828%3Ag%3Aog0AAOSwyWZZRBFR%26vxp%3Dmtr
What model viper system is this?
5806V
Hey Anthony what's going on brother what model Viper is your alarm I would like to install that alarm system and set it up the same way in my z.
Hi I would like to know how you wired the ground for your sound system because I keep getting this hissing noise the volume is at zero
It's pretty overkill. Here's the video. ruclips.net/video/mkWCqSfr6ig/видео.html
I would also recommend running the ground for the head unit to the same point as where you're grounding your amp. That also helps a lot.
can you link what remote starter youre using
This is the system I'm using www.viper.com/car/securityremotestart/product/5806v/viper-led-2-way-security-and-remote-start-system
What kind of remote is that and where can I get one for my Z??
It's a Viper 5806V. Any Viper authorized dealer can install it for you.
Where you get the front bumber. Light
Datsun z IJDMTOY check them out.
@anthonyj350 do you do electrical for cars in the lower mainland? The grounding mod looks interesting and I've been having some issues with the third brake light in my G35 coupe
Yup I do, my shop is currently under renovations (Visions Electronics Surrey) but we should be back up and running in September.
AnthonyJ350 awesome! What's the best way to get in contact with you?
Right now e-mailing me at info@gofasthavefun.ca as I have regular access.
AnthonyJ350 okay I'll shoot you an email closer to September and we can work something out
Sounds good! Always cool to work on a viewer's car!
just got my 2004 350z 54k orginal and i dont plan to rice it,your videos will be helpful
Alex Laskovtsov Awesome to hear!
Alex Laskovtsov is the de engine really that bad im planning to get one but i dont know if i should spend extra on the hr
Ali A I don't think it's bad. I have a DE Revup.
its not bad i think plenum spacers will go a long way as soon as i get them
Z-irst
Great adds
Thank you!
What wheels and tires are you running on your zed?
This is my wheel and tire setup video ruclips.net/video/x9XLGAojw6w/видео.html
What model alarm do you have? My Z came with model 5901 it has remote start but there's steps required for activating it on a manual transmission
Jose Rubio Viper 5806V. The steps will be pretty much the same. They're necessary for a manual transmission for safety.
AnthonyJ350 Ah makes sense. Thanks! Love your channel, thanks to you I know a lot of "how to" of the Z. Very professional and quick to the point.
I'm glad to hear the videos are helping you, it's nice to hear feedback like that.
Also make sure you check out my 350Z playlist. Not only do I have all my videos there but any cool related 350Z videos from other channels I find I put there as well.
AnthonyJ350 already have! Very glad I found your channel. Because every other 350z videos are done by some "ricer-ish" people lol
AnthonyJ350 thanks man I'll definitely look into it
I don't have a Z but I want one, but I have the big3 with 1/0 tinned pure copper wire and I have 2 runs going to 2 more batteries in the back, audio enthusiasts have 10 plus batteries, and now lithium, of course I wouldn't that to a Z because we want the lightest Z to get better times, btw I like ur audio setup, outstanding, I realize this post is 2 yo, but I'm catching up to most of the Z channels.
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Thanks!
Any local Directed Authorized dealer can program it for you.
what did you get for the taillights
Stock
yo what rims are those?
Vossen CV7s. Here's the video on them ruclips.net/video/x9XLGAojw6w/видео.html
What year is this car?
The car is a 2006
Love your Z
Very clean & slick
Thank you!
Trunk is usefull!!no more switch, grabbin for the lady :D
For the lady in your life you can actually buy sensors that you mount under the rear of the car that detect when you put your leg under so you can just move your foot under the car to release the trunk. Can make it a little easier if your hands are full but the trunk will still need that last release by hand on these cars haha
Thanks for watching!
AnthonyJ350 is there a way that you can provide a link to all of the components that i would need to buy or should i just speak to the dealer?
David I would talk to a dealer. You can build your system on the Viper website and it will direct you to the closest authorized dealer.
Aiden is all Knowing the reason for that is because viper or (directed) only sells them to dealers for example if I sell you an alarm I have to install it, I can't just give it to you, also if you find it on Amazon directed voids the 1 year warranty for buying it from a 3rd party
Links to all of them?
Your local install shop will have them
What year is the 350z in your video? Thanks.
2006 Enthusiast
perfect Z
Thanks for watching 🙂
your correct....the factory Oem components only made to 5 years or so many miles with the lowest amount of material they can afford.
freeyourmind88 Yup which is understandable because they need to make the vehicle affordable and still turn a profit or else there's no point.
AnthonyJ350 yup...business is business
Is this key possible on every car? It's a really cool thing. :)
Yup you just have to bring it to an experienced installed shop to put it in properly.
AnthonyJ350 can the key also undo the convetable top? I have the roadster model. :)
Aren't there manual latches you have to undo at the windshield?
AnthonyJ350 oh yeah, forgot about that..
It's Z. ZED IF your English.
Well actually the Commonwealth (which includes Canada) says "zed".
AnthonyJ350 excellent video.
John Diaz , you’re, short for you are, if you speak English.
honestly all the light mods are overkill
Overkill in what sense? You don't know they're there till I turn them on. I work as a 12 volt technician so I like to demonstrate what can be performed on a vehicle.
I think they are great leds heads would be great my standard beem is shit can barely see so If been wanting to do my for awhile now
My sisters boyfriend doesn't like music
Edit: ex boyfriend
Uber Virsacii Probably why they broke up. He's dead inside.
AnthonyJ350 yup
Z-hird
Z-ifth
I cringe every time I hear you sat "Zed"...LOL It's "Z"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤣😂🤣
Why? I'm in Canada and that's how we're taught to say the letter in school. Also the rest of the Commonwealth pronounces it that way. It's interesting how Americans think their way is the only way...
