New Dr. OBi video!!! Only one suggestion, adjust the audio so it goes to both left and right channels, because right now it only plays on the right speaker/headphone :)
Thanks for the feedback. It was playing on both channels with my headphones, so I'm surprised you had that issue. I'll be sure to check that on my next video!
@dr_obisgarden thank you Sir! I have about two planted for over two years now. Your video has inspired me, i will have to transplant them to a bigger pot. I see you used 15 litres buckets.
I had amazing success with your first video but a disaster happened. 48 cm of rainfall in 24 hours have destroyed half of my crowns. do you have advice on avoiding waterlogging? Please dr Obi you are my only hope 😭
Sorry to hear about your loss.... Unfortunately, there are not many options for your situation. One way to avoid waterlogged soils during heavy rains is to ensure you have drainage holes under the bucket and also use soil that has good drainage. Another alternative will be to cover the plant and soil with a big plastic sheet or bag right before or during the rain. Best wishes.
It depends on the crown. If it is big you can cut it into eight sections. Even with four sections, if you harvest the plantlets after 3 months and continue to take care of the sections, you can get more than four plants.

New video wow
Yes! It's been a while 😉
Great video. I guess these are SugarLoaf pineapples?
Thanks. Yes, they're. I love them. 😋
Please what did you use to initiate fruiting in the other plants?
I used calcium carbide. But if you have a banana you can also use it. Check this video to find out how ruclips.net/video/W51l6IMjvQM/видео.html

Can I use liquid fertilizer instead of water?
Yes, but not every time unless it's very dilute. Too much fertilizer is not good for the plant.
@@dr_obisgarden Why?
How many times do you carry out the carbon carbide reaction with watering on one pineapple plant to make it fruit.?
You only apply the calcium carbide solution once.
What is that sprayer containing
It contains potassium nitrate foliar fertilizer
So do you get 4 or 8 plants from a single crown?
It depends on the crown. If it is big you can cut it into eight sections. Even with four sections, if you harvest the plantlets after 3 months and continue to take care of the sections, you can get more than four plants.
