    It worked! It hasn't even been a week since I used the banana method and I'm already seeing clearly a new pineapple coming up through the center of the plant. It was clearly not there before and now it's there. It looks just like the one in this video with beautiful red leaves around. I can't believe it! OMG. That's why I don't just watch Dr. OBi's videos, I subscribe!

    do i do this like once a day for a week or two? What time of year should i do this? I have a big 2yr old pinaple plant, but its now almost october and I'm in So. California. I'm planing on bringing the plant indoors when its gets cold and then trying your method next febrary so it can flower and grow the fruit all next summer. is that a good plan?

    • @dr_obisgarden
      @dr_obisgarden  4 месяца назад +3

      That sounds like a good plan. You don't want to move the plants when the fruit is developing since it may break. I normally apply the banana water every 12 hours for 2-3 days. That's all you have to do.

    • @dr_obisgarden
      @dr_obisgarden  9 месяцев назад +3

      I mostly induce between 8-10 months. I live in warm climate and my plants grow really fast. A good indicator to know when to induce is using the number of leaves. If the plant has at least 30 long leaves, then they can be induced to flower successfully.
