    Big time Timmy Jim was the Best ! 2 no hitters, 2 cy youngs, 3 world series championships .Tim should be in the Hall of Fame.

      No. He was good for 4 seasons, that's it. That's not a HoF career.

    Timmy is my all time favorite Giant, must see TV when he was pitching. Wish they made him a Closer after 2012. Truly believe it would have extended his career

    His coaches absolutely fucked him. If he had a comparable work load to the pitchers of this time or even his time he'd still be on the league. 6 straight 110+ pitch outings with a 130+

      Yeah I remember back when he was huge it seemed like he was used a ton. I remember seeing him more than I usually see pitchers. Or just more often without many days off

    if lincecum didnt have such a high workload at such a young age, i fully believe he wouldve stayed in the league much longer and avoided some of his injuries

      He had a stretch of 4 years where he was good , and 2 of his world series rings he was far from the player he was posting above a 4 era he was not the reason they were winning at that point he was good for a short time just like Derrick Rose in basketball injuries are what stopped time from getting in the HOF

    The Freak, great segment! His career is "almost' like; half of Koufax's when you consider his Cy Youngs, rings, and no hitters. He always had that west coast Washington alternative rock vibe. The same as Corbin Carroll. How about Andre Dawson (The Hawk).

    His debut was against a Juggernaut Phillies lineup, can't fault him for that.
    I almost think he should be in the Hall of Fame because of his peak being so high. The fact he was in the same draft as Kershaw and Scherzer are still playing today, really makes you wonder.

    The photo of Tim at 1:36 is my photograph. I took that shot at Cheney Stadium when the Grizzlies played the Tacoma Rainiers right before Lincecum was called up to the Giants. Not sure how you came up with it outside of the fact that it's posted on my Flickr page. If that's where you got it, asking for permission to use it would've been nice.

      @@SirDoggy1 I grew up in Pacifica four years behind him. Been a fan of his since I was eight years old and he was 12. I recently listened to his audiobook. I am Keith Hernandez… He mentions a lot of people and places I can relate to. Should be in the Hall of Fame.

    Timmy Jim Jam!!! Unless you a Dodgers fan, I cannot think of anyone in my young years of being a baseball fan who didn't love this guy unless he was starting against their team. Straight filth. I don't use this descriptor often, at all. He is the single most filthy pitcher I've seen outside of my favorite Cubs pitchers of all time.
