    I love how the Hal 826 is just unapologetically the "White Glint" esque core complete with very similar post Assault/Primal Armor venting system throughout its body pieces. The big venting halo looks cool.
    What I really like is the gradual difference in the more juri-rigged together older AC's to the more advanced AC's, with the older or RaD models having these mad contraption looking engines that range from barely looking like its keeping it together and messy, to messy but with a purpose mid way. The "modern" cores meanwhile look tighter and more stable, but still look like they're venting an insane amount of residual energy and heat. Meanwhile the more advanced ACs have more contained, even elegant looking cooldown mechanisms with Ephemera looking like you can barely see it. To show that the process has been gradually perfected by both the institute...to right up until recently.
    The Alba core having that a glowing Halo...or 0 on its back afterwards can't be a coincidence, considering it's meant to be the most "Gundam-like" of the cores and at a glance does resemble Exia's body quite a bit.

      I think fromsoft is trying to go for a "sandbox tools" approach. Halo has been doing the same exact thing for years. You don't need to put a lot of weapons because each of them fit a role.... That being said I miss the crazy diversity of parts. And personally I've never really been a fan of super organic AC designs. Like that one nauchtreiher head that is ridiculously asymmetrical

    • @randomaccount3364
      @randomaccount3364 11 месяцев назад +1

      It's the same problem as in Monster Hunter. The older generations had a lot of monsters because the games used the exact same models for over ten years up until MHGU. Similarly in Armored Core, Gen 3 for example ported AC parts and weapon models over and over again.
      When AC4 dropped, they stopped porting models over and I felt that there were no parts as well. Then ACFA released and more parts were added to the existing AC4 parts. I haven't played AC5/VD, but I assume VD also brought new parts to that generation. So we're just waiting for an expansion for AC6 for more parts at this point in time.
      What I wish is for Fromsoft to stop killing and then creating new storylines or envision the gameplay flow differently, which necessitated creating new incompatible models for AC4/FA and AC5/VD. Because of that, those generations didn't get enough parts, unlike Gen 3 which had the development of three different games and Last Raven ultimately has the highest part count among all games because of it. Create future games in the same setting as AC6, in the same storyline, accumulate parts.

    I bet there is a secret stat or mechanic tied to this and we just don't know about it yet, also, I'm not pulling out the ruler yet BUT given that ACs in this game are about 10m tall and I'm guessing 621 and perfect and beautiful Rusty are going to be about 180cm as standard average pilots with the other pilots varying from there to other body types, shapes and sizes (no way invincible rummy doesn't have a belly), so they would be under 1/5th of the mech's height standing or 1/10th sitting, it looks like some cores would be unable to fit a pilot inside, let alone a cockpit? For example the Nachtreiher, the cooling mechanism seems too big to not interfere with a cockpit by my eye estimation (which I hope is wrong and From Software is glorious and perfect) and since there is no cock cockpit like in Zone of The Enders I don't think you can fit the pilot between the hips with the legs joints taking the place (we have seen in previous games that ACs have full cockpits to fit a entire human pilot, even giving us first person view from inside but I wonder if it has changed in this game, like do they chop and install just the brain like with Metal Gear's cyborg ninjas with how dehumanized it gets or based on the trailer that seemed to show an unconscious 621 presumably, in a bed with some medical devices connected with something in the head maybe to the AC do they like transfer their consciousness like in the ID0 anime for example, or are they using like remote terminals/cockpits to control the mech from afar like in Guilty Crown?)

      621 is surgically fused with their AC control systems negating the need to have a full sized cockpit. Walter even mentions that he wants us to use our money earned throughout the game to undo the procedure to live a normal life. as far as the other pilots go i'm not sure but they mostly look desinged around a cockpit bar the mind alpha which was built to have no pilot.

      A lot of people see 621 saran wrapped on the surgical bed in the theatrical trailer and wrongly assume he's just a bag of organs that is plugged into the AC like an organic computer. This is false. 621 was merely being thawed out and "woken up" from his cryogenic sleep by Walter.
      621 is a cybernetically enhanced human. The coral implants "fried" his brain, but he's otherwise healthy and normal (at least to some extent). We see every other AC pilot in the game portrayed as fully human in the logs, 621 is no different.
      There's a part in the game where 621 loses his AC, wakes up in the sewers, and climbs into a different AC. 621 wouldn't be able to do that if he were just a brain or a meat bag.

    Kinda weird that BASHO, WRECKER and ORBITER frames have built-in pulse emitters like other frames, since the first one was designed before Core Expansions were a thing and the other two were meant for civilian use.
