- Frank (Paul Bettany) gives a piece of advice to Beth (Sophia Lillis) in this first look clip from Uncle Frank, an Amazon Original Movie coming to Prime Video this Thanksgiving. In 1973, teenaged Beth leaves her rural Southern hometown to study at New York University where her beloved Uncle Frank is a revered literature professor. She soon discovers that Frank is gay, and living with his longtime partner Walid “Wally” Nadeem (Peter Macdissi) -- an arrangement that he has kept secret for years. After the sudden death of Frank's father -- Beth’s grandfather -- Frank is forced to reluctantly return home for the funeral with Beth in tow, and to finally face a long-buried trauma that he has spent his entire adult life running away from.

This story is beautiful It's the story of the life of Uncle "Frank," queer and very eager to be accepted by his family. It takes time and understanding. "Frank" the past is a memory. She also currently has a boyfriend "Walid" and granddaughter "Beth". always encourage At the end, touched by the love of the family that they have for each other. very heartwarming 🤟"...
Does any know where to watch ,other then Amazon Prime ?
Love the movie. But do you guys notice the cell phone (which is not from that era) in the pocket of the guy sitting at the table at 30:10 in the movie, but it’s not there when they show him again at 30:22. Interesting.
I actually liked it.. yea its not alwas the feelgood movie movie ..guess life is not sometimes..but who care what critics think anyway people like it its them that matters anyway
