This scene broke my heart. Paul is such a talented actor.
And so is his wife, Jennifer.
That scene was crushing.
If Paul Bettany doesn even recieve a nomination for best actor in this movie, I'm protesting the Academy!
i agree but we know it’s not gonna happen...the academy is a shame
One heck of an actor but didn’t get nominated this year!
it will be nominated for emmy, this is a tv movie
I’m sure they are soooo frightened
"don´t ever come near me and talk to me again" is there anything more devastating and sadder that you can say to someone you love?
He didn't love Frank, that's why he said it.
i just watched the movie...and this scene had me 😭
This scene broke my heart and almost had me in tears.
Watched this last night while recovering from my booster shot. The build-up of the movie and unveiling of Frank's past was beautiful. Paul did a fantastic job. The way he twitched his face and hands while the will was being read. I cried when he stood in Sam's grave asking for forgiveness. This movie is underrated.
This scene destroyed my soul. Paul Bettany did an amazing job
Paul is so brilliant.
Paul Bettany has now entered the same category of Decaprio and De Niro level acting
So he should now officially change his name into Paul De Bettany, otherwise people will ignore his work forever.
Congrats on the highly deserved Emmy nomination for this absolute gem of a movie. A little disappointed that Paul didn't get an additional nomination for his powerful portrayal of Frank, but maybe there's a only-one-nomination-per-actor clause.
What kind of a lawyer would even repeat that in front of all the family and how could anybody be so cruel. Hopefully this never happened to any one in real life.
You could tell how uncomfortable, nervous, and upset the lawyer was honestly. I know I could see and feel it, and especially when they’re all grieving the lawyer knew it was bad, but legally he HAS to do that. Maybe a warning would have been nice for sure, if the lawyer had been like “this last part about Frank may be upsetting.”
Oh it has. Believe me, it has.
its a legal duty
If it wasn’t as well, and he told the lawyer, that’s the way he wanted him to do it then yes he would’ve done it. I don’t need a lawyer agreed with it, but whatever’s in the world I wish I follow with the Rockwell says, and if he, for a reason, told him to do it then yes he would’ve done it.
Also, yes, this does happen to people in my life that’s a cruel because they grow up that believe in that way there’s been cases of people banding their own kids for a loving differently
he is such an underrated actor 😭😭❤️
I’ll never forget this scene. I was so shocked that I couldn’t stop crying… a masterpiece. My favorite movie and performance.✨
Eventhough it was so painful in the end it helps him to come out to all his family a painful beginning to a happy life
Paul deserves an Oscar...
I remember watching this scene and bursting into tears.
Heart wrecking scene 😪
This is broken heart 😢❤
Holy hell. What a movie. I haven’t even watched it. I am in awe.
shame on you father !!!!!!!!!! great great movie
This Movie is an amazing one, Paul Bettany poured his heart out in this one
But actually, what kinda hack lawyer would actually read that out?
An homophobic lawyer
I think that he's obliged to read whatever is in the will.
You could see he hesitated
It’s literally his job. 🤨
Many take joy!
Anyone know where else you watch this besides Amazon prime?
This was actually a fantastic movie. Paul Bettany is one of the great actors of our time.
Jokes on his dad he could sue and get a huge chunk of the estate and a big sum of the family money
Not in 1973.
The law was different in 1973
I just wanna be loved. Is that really soo messed up.
Disappointing father...whats new?
i'd be shamed too
Why post this so soon? Such a massive spoiler
Why watch it if you cared about spoilers?
It literally says spoiler in the title
Spoilers! Don’t watch! Why would you show this?
