When a man dies and draws a crowd ,he was a good man. When a man dies and makes grown men cry that is one hell of a man. RIP Kobe Bryant and Gigi, the world loves you.
I was at my 5 year old sons basketball game when someone sitting in front of me got a phone call. He stood up and I heard him say " tell me you're lying NOT KOBE HOW?" I went straight to Facebook and seen what happened. I almost burst in tears sitting in the bleachers. Kobe was my childhood basket idol

Respect not only for his world-class talent, but as such a genuine, beautiful human being. I am not ashamed to say this 52 year old man was in tears throughout. R.I.P. Here I am in 2023... years after it all... in a public setting trying to hold back tears. I'm already at a warm heart when competitors can respect each other. To see THIS kind of display... I don't have the right words, it's beautiful. RIP, to a GOAT...
How amazing is a person, who can illicit mourning and tributes from around the world. We lost a real great....RIP to everyone who died in the helicopter. They were so damn close 😭
Here I am three years later watching this again. This shows just how iconic of a man and competitive player Kobe was.. that everyone felt was necessary to honor him like this! I still remember exactly where I was at when it all happened. I was at work and when I got the notification on my phone I had to leave cuz I broke down like a close family member jus passed.. Mamba forever

I am so honored just to have lived during this time in human history where “Kobe Bryant” exists. Grateful that my lifetime coincided with a portion of his, just to be lucky enough to witness his thunder. What a time to be alive. Kobe lives on eternally in his legacy.
I’m honored to have lived in the same time frame as you my friend. And all of you. Kobe as well. Love you guys. Hope you live beautiful, happy, fruitful lives.

Kobe was the best player of all time. I’m crying now because I know Kobe Bryant. What Kobe did to be a basketball player was footwork um skills and all types of other things that he did to make himself and his friends happy. Kobe did that to make you happy. Man it’s so sad because I did not want him to die. Once you make your self and your parents happy because your playing sports you got to give the respect to your teammates and your friends.
I'll never forget where I was when I found out. I'm not even a basketball fan but he is such a legend. I say "is" and not "was" because he lives on in millions of peoples' hearts. RIP Kobe, Gianna and the rest of the people and loved ones involved in the accident

Kobe was an idol to so many of the players on those courts.. he helped fuel their fire and dreams and the news of his death must have hit hard. Losing a hero. Man, it's been 4 years since Kobe left us, but it still hits you. The fact that every single game in a non-professional basketball league of Belarus (a small 10 million country in Europe) started with 24-second violation and 8-second violation with a standing ovation to honor Kobe's memory shows you the infinite respect and honor Kobe had as a player. RIP, Kobe, you are forever in our hearts!
I remember when my friend texted me and said, "dude, Kobe Bryant just died". That shook me up really bad. I cried for hours after I heard about that. We miss u Kobe, R.I.P.
