As a Celtics fan I never liked Kobe when he played against us, But I always had the ultimate respect for him and his game. Definition of a competitor is Kobe Bryant. Words cannot express the emotions and feelings we all have today. Another terrible example of how fragile life truly is. My thoughts and prayers go out to all whom he has touched especially his friends and family. Not only have we lost the great Kobe Bryant but also his daughter Gigi. Gigi idolized her father and seemed to be on the way to carve her own path to become one of the greatest female athletes of our time. We now can never see where her journey went. We will never see Kobe give his hall of fame induction speech. His poor Wife lost her daughter and husband and His girls lost their father and sister. Also my condolences to the pilot and the other families aboard the helicopter. It seems so fucked up that the day after Lebron James passes him in career points that he leaves us. The next Lakers home game is going to be difficult one but a must watch. 2020 has been off to a heartbreaking and scary start.
