As a diehard bulls fan since being in diapers watching MJ at my grandmas, watching every televised Bulls game. Seeing D Roses downfall, that shit still hurts. I can only imagine how he felt. We love you, man. You’ll always be a part of The Bulls family.
I'm extremely happy that Westbrook got his chance to shine these playoffs. As a long time fan of his, seeing him finally succeed and shutting people's mouths was really great to see, especially after his failed season.
The last three really got me tearing up.. A man who lost so many times and won again (D. Rose), a man who lost a father but won on Father's day (MJ), and a man who we all lost (Kobe).
D'Rose you are a great man. And over three years later, the loss of Kobe his beloved daughter and of corse the other victims of that horrible crash, still shocks and hurts. Rest in Peace Mamba. Youl be missed

20:00 -- Kobe's last game in the NBA , that final win, that final curtain call was the emotional moment of all time for me. 60 pts VS the Jazz to come from behind and win his last game. He reached down deep and pulled off on last vintage game, and it was the greatest Curtain call I've ever seen by an old veteran basketball player.
I didn't feel like watching TV that night. I happened to settle on watching that game. I am so glad I did. He was only 4 months older than me. His memories, both as a person and as a player, will last for many generations.

Those D'Rose and Kobe stories hit hard. RIP to Kobe and I hope D'Rose keeps fighting. Also-I have never been a major fan of Westbrook, but no one deserves their name to be disgraced like that. He is an amazing player and I hope he can prove everyone wrong.
That D.Rose trade really hit me. It feels like the organization betrayed him. Lost their trust in him. The city betrayed him But as Shaq said. NBA is a business. It's always business.
I saw the d-rose game where he came back and he got emotional interview on TV live and I was so full of emotion that Rose finally had one of the greatest games since that bad injury. It was one of the best moments in NBA history to me.
We had just arrived in Bulgaria when our son called us to tell us the news. We got on the internet and there it was. Yes, it affected everyone around the world and we saw the impact Kobe had on fans even in Bulgaria.
D.Rose still got me so emotionally still to this days even after watching this tragedy of his carrier so many times, all the things he is capable of is off the charts he has the future to be the next Michael Jordan and he was the true Chicago Bulls he was born and raised and gave his everything to the Bulls basketball team, he really really love his home town team, and when he came down that's the saddest thing I've ever see in the NBA superstars break down, the way he was being dropped by the Bulls was even more harder for him to recover from, despite his injuries, he is still there but never the same again, that's the saddest part...
I was a slightly fan of kobe, I used to watch his training videos with his daughter. just hearing lebrons speech and how much detication this world had with him without him even knowing it, made me ball my eyes out. and the "mamba out" gave me chills
I so admire the way MJ chooses to react to the murder of his father. Most people would be angry, bitter, feel extreme resentment, and want revenge for their best friend, their father being taken out that way. He made a conscious choice not to focus on that. Instead, he chose to be optimistic and use his feelings as motivation to achieve something to honor his father. That is exceptional.
It's crazy how much hate westbrook got for his bad shooting when he had better shooting splits than more than half the roster while only starting 3 games. Right now he's still in the top 4 for player stats- all splits
DWade said "Fall down once, get up twice." DRose more than personafies this. Not going to lie, I wasnt a DRose fan. But seeing what happened to him makes me sad. Ive got alot of respect for him and his unwavering and hyper-motivated will to persevere. Much respect.
Kobe meant something to everyone connected to the NBA at the time. He was the greatest ideal of a man, of a NBA player who ever lived. LA AS A whole cried on that day. I'd never seen TV anchors loose their shit like that. It seemed that he meant a whole lot more to the community than 99% of the other superstars on the court ever did. Tracy McGrady said that Kobe used every mental and physical tool he had "maximized" He said Kobe is one of the few people in the world who could look back on a career and have zero regrets about how he played and how he prepared for games.

I'm a Giannis fan, but Derrick Rose, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant's stories got me teared up. I HATE seeing people pass away (especially when it's a person that someone loves) or getting hurt. I also HATE seeing people getting separated from their family because of wars, dictatorial rules, etc. I was at one of my parents' friend's house when this happened. Bryant's passing teared me up, but what's more emotional to me is the world's reaction to that tragedy. What a sad moment.
So many emotional moments. I'm from the UK and I never really watched basketball religiously but I have huge respect to those who play. The player who got fined for speaking out against those moronic refs, didn't deserve that sort of punishment.
