    Nice trip, my favorites : the glass lizard so pretty, the confused young alligator and the anery pigmy rattler.
    Oh I almost forgot the grumpy cornsnake. I like when snake have an attitude 😁

    Noah, this was an AWESOME video dude! I loved seeing all of the herps and the ocean animals as well! I love love love the ocean. My favorite snake was also the black and white Pygmy rattlesnake.     8:40 Those are Suwannee Bass, not to be confused with Largemouth Bass. They are endemic to North Florida and South Georgia along the Suwannee River Basin.

    That anery pigmy rattler is a looker! I've never seen that before. As far as I know we do not have pygmies in West Texas, but I've seen a lot of new snake stuff since I started watching YT! The speckleds are lovely!

    Love the Florida Blue Striped Garters. I used to own one that I cohabbed with a Canadian Red-Sided. I was trying to get red, white, and blue offspring…but they never mated.

    I live in North Florida close enough to work in South Georgia. Its been a slow year on my property for snakes (just one egg thief in the chicken coop). The gopher tortoises are out in force this year though!

    Wonderful. That anery pygmy was super nice. The scarlet snakes down there are huge. Here in Arkansas ive never seen one more than 7 or 8 inches. And the little scarlet king was awesome as well. What a dope little bro. Great trip. It's been disgusting how dry and hot it's been here in Arkansas. I hope you're doing well. Catch you on the flip-side(of the tin stack)

    Fun fact: The Horseshoe Crab is more closely related to spiders and scorpions than crabs and lobsters.

    I just moved to Florida. I need to drive where you were. I want to find scarlet snakes.
    I've found a yellow rat, a corn and a banded water snake without really looking too hard.

    can't believe he was waiting by my door and tried to spring in, when i opened the door..i just moved him to a more wooded area in the yard...but it was nice to see him, since the leaves in the yard, look like copperhead environment, and my housemate have seen a few

    How about incorporating some instruction on herp handling into your videos? I live in a state with almost no venomous snakes (mn) and since watching your videos I find myself actively looking for herps when I'm out and about.

    The lone horseshoe crab that you picked up was a female, interesting because it’s pretty much the end of the breeding season for them in Florida, when you find them earlier in the season (usually peaks around March that far south) close to 100% of females will have a male hanging on the back. It’s only at the end of the season that you can find lone females, which tends to hold true even up here in New England too

      Lots of snakes will release a pretty pungent musk upon capture. Some species are particularly bad and will do it almost every time.

    How do you tell the difference between a ribbon snake and a garter snake?

      I have the same trouble.

      Ribbons are much more slender and usually have less busy pattern! Both are really variable though, so it can be tricky. But just remember that a Garter will always be about twice as girthy as a Ribbon of similar length.
