    Would like to give my take. I’ve been an artist for 3 years, and for months now there has been a decrease in commissions. This month there is yet a person to commission me. AI has definitely affected Artists, especially no-name artists who do not have consistent clients and are just advertising their work. wven if you say AI is not creative, most ppl will think why hire an artist when they can just use midjourney to make a generated image for them. however this is a good opportunity for me to learn and work with ai together, and figure out how to be irreplaceable in the industry. repetitive and boring jobs are gonna be replaced.

    People are afraid that AI will replace lawyers, but I am sure that lawyers are savvy enough to make sure their jobs are secure. It’s paralegals and legal secretaries that will be out of jobs. The people who spend hours and hours looking up precedent, summarizing interrogatories, writing briefs, etc. AI will be able to do all of that in a few seconds. But as for going to court, being that official authority on things, lawyers will be ok.

    Shimmy you have backwards. AI isn't going to eliminate security guards or taxi drivers, lol. But it will eliminate the need for writers, graphic designers, etc. People aren't using ChatGPT to drive them from place to place. They're using it to create written content, do copywriting, write books, create shirt designs and other graphics.

    • @tc-tm1my
      @tc-tm1my Год назад +6

      Chat gpt isn't the only ai in existence. It's not even the most advanced. There are already self driving taxis in pilot phase. I expect they will be standard transportation for ride sharing in next 10 years.

    • @shimmymorris1
      @shimmymorris1  Год назад

      I'm talking about chat gpt. Chat gpt is aiding writers, graphic designers but it's slowly being caught out by most detection sites so it won't last long. We already have self driving cars. Trains don't have drivers, planes have autopilot... Robots would make far better security guards... Something that is creative and unique will always be needed. Chat GPT doesn't create anything unique, it's takes info from various sources and mashes it together... something truly unique will come from the human mind.

    My job vanished last yeat. I snuck back in the building and found robot sitting in my cubicle. It was a clunky robot that moved kind of violently, breaking pencils and keyboards. It had a jitteryvoice and always repeated itself. I asked ny manager what had happened and he said that he hired the robot cause it didnt talk back to him and never took breaks. Come to find out they replaced the receptionist with a frightening robot with wig over its metal head. There is already an AI type of classification system for the harmonized codes required for imports and exports. If a company uses this method they open themselves up to compliance issues. Non- compliance is costly. Companies will certainly find it cheaper to use AI for classification and then hand that data to 3rd party logistics providers such as forwarders and brokers. The Importer must remember that it is their responsibility to ensure all tariff numbers are correct.

    Creative jobs arent save at all. Humans can be creative and a.i goes by what has been already made, like A.i, humans looks back to what has been made to create.Because there is no such thing as originalty. Our inspiration or creativity is a mix of things that has shaped us. A.I will be able to do that but faster when it comes to digital art. Fine Arts on the other hand is another story. Graphic designers already don’t have alot of jobs imagine in 5 years at the pace of A.I evolving. No job is really safe but the jobs that really need humans on it like teaching or medical practicioners.

    Wow your so off the mark with this one. Most of the jobs you said are safe are what ai is already showing it can replace. Anything creative that is repeatable like logos, websites, coding, even print on demand shops. All gone. I can easily envisage asking ai in the future to design me a T-shirt and take payment all on one quick chat. I have no need of print on demand and websites to do that.
    Same goes for music. Plenty of AI already launched can help there.
    CEOs will have less workforce to oversee. A company that needed 10 manages now needs 2.
    Anything that is repeated can be automated. Just remember that phrase. If it applies to your job, AI will replace it eventually.
    It’ll also change the landscape of how customers interact with businesses. You can already book flights with chat GPT and Expedia. No need for a web interface in the future. We will all have virtual assistants working non stop for our convenience. So our AI models will interact with company’s AI models for us.
