after 3 months with Samsung galaxy z flip 3, i think this phone is really amazing. very stylish and special. whenever i hold it.. it attracts people around me to look at what i am holding. they say the design and also the thickness are superb. i agree with that. the camera is good. it is not as good as the 108 MP camera of galaxy s20 ultra which i also have...but the clarity of the pictures i captured using ZFlip 3 is quite mesmerising. another great feature is the flex mode. capture pictures using this mode is very easy.. i am glad that i made decision to purchase this phone

I just pre-ordered Fold 3. Hopefully it will stand the test of time. I use my phone for work, like mails, chats, meetings and sometimes a quick connect to vpn or to our platform and a bigger tablet is a value add for me.
I know its not as big a dedicated tablet, but as someone who use my note for most of the above things and do not want to carry an additional laptop or tablet on casual trips, this is definitely helpful. I am talking about the usefulness of this in such situations and use cases, not about replacing tabs and laptops.
Cool it's beautiful @@ridingdreamerbut for me the size difference does not validate the lack of integrity of the plastic screen... im a wayback note user who lost interest in waiting for the bending rolling screen predicted back then when I realized that Samsung did not and couldn't make bending glass added to the fact that I continually appreciate the hardness of the gorilla glass on the Note and it's shape and size being perfectly balanced for me as studio artist who travels and uses the device as a drawing tablet and camera when I'm doing public presentations

The flip 3 seems interesting. I have the fold2 but it's been lying and collecting dust for some months now since i personally didn't find it very useful and a bit unpractical. When unfolded it felt too narrow and when you fold it it doesn't really become a tablet either and holding it because of the width isn't very comfortable unless you have extremely huge hands. The lack of dust protection in regard of the price of the fold also makes you think at least twice where you use it. In my case I think i brought the fold2 with me once outdoors because of its delicate construction. That this year's flip and fold have some level of water protection is a needed improvement.
I use both Flip 3 fold 3 cause the folds really a glorified tablet. I cannot use the front display it's too skinny and the bottom sucks for gestures when you put a case on it
I love the flip. So great to have a phone you don't have to make space for on your desk or table! The fold to me is having a bit of an identity crisis, I think it should be rebranded as the note and redesign the chassis to incorporate the stylus. I remember the first note model being labelled a phablet, and the fold is exactly what it is!
Strange, as a note user all my life I was really waiting for this phone. Now it is there and even cheaper but the fact I have to use a bulky case for the pen throws me off. So I won't buy it. For a reason I dont understand myself the flip is appealing more to me. If it had a better battery I might even buy it despite no pen support.

Thanks for the video. I prefer the Flip for portability. I have never been a big fan of larger smartphones. When they started there were belt clips that could hold them so you didn't have to put them in your pocket. Then they became bigger and the belt clip option seemed to disappear! I like the flip because I can not put the phone in my pocket and still have the screen if I need it. The Fold is too big and I would use a tablet or other device instead of the Folds extra screen size. So for practicality, I go with the Flip.
I just pre ordered the z flip 3 in white. Trading in my note 20 ultra 5g. Having such a massive phone has had me longing for something smaller and lighter and the flip hits all the marks for me. I can't wait!

I use an s pen with a note 10+ now, but having to buy a bulky case, to put on an already bulky z fold 3, is a deal killer. That wont work in my pocket. The "Galaxy Z Fold 3" has a 24.5:9 screen aspect ratio for the cover display. And a 5:4 aspect ratio for the main 7.6" inch display for anyone wondering, as these figures don't seem to be posted on many websites showing off the devises specs for its display screens. As for the Flip, it has a 22:9 aspect ratio for its 6.7" inch display. For reference: Most movies in theaters are filmed at either 1.85:1 or 2.39:1 ratios. This means that the Galaxy Flip has an ever so slightly wider ratio when viewing movies on it. The same goes for the cover display on the Fold. 🙂
it used to be that the Note series was the ultimate phone each year and it has a pen. Now for the sake of a pen, note users are reduced to using a less than specced out phone but incidentally can fold. It sounds to me that using a s21 ultra with a pen makes more sense to me as a note user.

I have few issues with this Fold 3. 1. That outside screen is too narrow and the inside screen is too much of a square. 2. Cameras that are pretty the same as my 2 year old Note 10+. This should have the S21 Ultra camera setup in my opinion. 3. No SD card slots anymore? Samsung turning into Apple which each new device.

FOLD GANG, I pre ordered the Black Z Fold 3 5g 512 gb model, with the cover case and spen, with the Black Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, with the black buds 2. Reserved and traded in for big discount. I got 800 off, total order. Im hype cant wait 2 weeks but have too lol. Fold Gang.
Gonna stick with my Note 20 Ultra and see if there will be a Note 21 Ultra next year (not holding my breath though). My two main reasons are the camera quality and S-Pen convenience. The camera on the Z Fold 3 is just not a patch on the Note 20 Ultra and no amount of software tweaking can make up for that. The S-Pen on the Z Fold 3 lacks almost all the features on the S-Pen on the Note 20 Ultra in that it doesn't have Bluetooth, so is basically a dumb stylus, which you need a special phone case to carry it in. To get back Bluetooth you need the S-Pen Pro, which is just big and horrid and needs to be charged via a USB C cable (no wireless charging!?). And then you have the extra hassle of carrying it around and trying not use lose it because at the moment there isn't a phone case that holds it. If the Z Fold 3 is really the future for the Note range, and I really hope it isn’t, Samsung needs to give the future Z Fold 4 a Note 20-esque S-Pen and place to store and charge it inside the phone and a camera that matches or exceeds next year’s flagship Galaxy S phone, otherwise they could stand to lose some of their loyal Note customers. This just feels like Samsung are not listening to loyal customers, and they could make the same mistake as Microsoft did when they removed the Start button from Windows 8.
My note 10 plus was good until the S pen legitimately started melting inside the phone I agree with what you said but they could of seriously gone the iPad Pro route and stuck magnets to it honestly don’t miss my note much now I’ve got the m1 iPad Pro but damn I was really hoping Samsung would make the fold 3 insane I’m pretty disappointed with it tbh this ain’t the future it’s a massive back step that pens massive too for the fold 😂
I'm started to think what a person said on a comment video from a different RUclipsr. The S21 and S21 Plus are suppose to be downgraded version of the S21 Ultra. The S21 Ultra is the true flagship, next comes the Plus with similar specs other then storage and screen resolution, and last you have the S21 the budget version. I think Sammy struggled because of Apple wanting to make phones that can please their fan base. With Apple decision the made the XR the budget version, SE for small displays users, the Pro Max for big displays users, and Pro for 6.2 displays users. Don't forget about the Mini too. By Sammy doing this idea for their S21 series. That's why it done kind of bad. For the S20 series all the phones had 1440, SD slots, and glass backs. But Sammy can always fix these mistakes, which I don't really see them as mistakes. But I'm wondering is the S22 Ultra going to have that under camera display tho 👀🔥

The flip a better upgrade from previous….the fold for me still not right.Huawei showed how it should be done with top cameras,wider outer screen and folds flat when closed.

That sounds like me. Ive never broken a phone,,i clean my phone, every month. I am wanting to buy the Flip , but then I see the fold, and I become a lil confused, as which one to buy. I will definitely be going into the phone shop, and have a good look at them both, im kind of leaning towards the " FLIP", it looks stylish, and sounds like it will be a great phone, and being smaller, due to being a flip ,is very appealing to me. I feel like the Flip 3 may do better than the Fold 3. Samsung seems to be betting on Note customers to transfer over to the Fold 3. As a Note user myself I just have no interest in foldables. I have the Note 20 Ultra (was able to get it for $330 with trade in) and the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus. I'm not upgrading any time soon.
How have u found it on the durability side of things from every day use? Have you ever dropped it? I'm thinking heavily of getting the Z flip 3 I'm still on edge about it though lol
@@muhammadibraheemtariq8043 Im sorry I cannot really attest to their durability. My zfold2 is only been with me for 5mons and I've only dropped it once. So far, it is still in pristine condition. There is only one little bubble on the the inner screen protection on the middle. I am using a spigen slim armor pro case for it. I heard this is the best case for it. I have a z flip before albeit for only 3-4mons. Had it traded for zfold 2 because I feel that one is not really durable. Saw a lot of users having problems with it in a facebook group so I made the decision to make a trade. Maybe the new ones are bit improved. If you eventually decided to buy zflip 3, getting an insurance is definitely a must.

This was done really well as a zfold2 user I apreciate the honestly about the zfold3 . A lot of people have screwed up when it has come to the zfold3 review. I'm not apposed to people getting the zflip3 as it maybe better for some people.
That's why Samsung needs a Z Fold 4 and... a Z Fold 4 Ultra next year. Because I will pay a few hundred more for better camera and bigger Z Fold Screens on front and on the inside which gives space for bigger battery and possibly an S pen slot like on the Note Phones. Either way I will Pre-Order the Silver Z Fold 3. S Pen 🖊 & water resistance is why I'm upgrading.
As expected, no periscope lenses but they do include the s pen feature. Although, I would still want a 100x zoom feature if I'm going to pay 2 grand for a phone. S and Note series user here since 2012.
I have just recently brought HUAWEI Mate Xs Foldable at great price which I couldn't say no to it killer both z fold 2 and 3. Huawei is king of foldable.
I know I'm late haha. But I've been using both for a few months. So the fold is amazing obviously but has alot of those Samsung bugs and glitches. Maybe more truthfully. The flip 3 I have to say is about as perfect as I've ever seen from Samsung anyone else?
The concept of folding, I think Fold 3 is making more sense but god damn, Flip 3 looks so fashionable. It almost feels like when the new Iphone came out that is beautiful.

I just returned the flip for the fold today. It's definitely makes more sense if you are going to be on your phone more. Battery life is MUCH better.

The camera is not as good as the s21 ultra, so I would not switch if that’s the thing you care about the most.
Flip 3 isn't the best smartphone for specs but the form factor just makes the minor differences in spec irrelevant. Just received mine, brilliant :-)

1. That outside screen is too narrow and the inside screen is too much of a square.
2. Cameras that are pretty the same as my 2 year old Note 10+. This should have the S21 Ultra camera setup in my opinion.
3. No SD card slots anymore? Samsung turning into Apple which each new device.

Gonna stick with my Note 20 Ultra and see if there will be a Note 21 Ultra next year (not holding my breath though). My two main reasons are the camera quality and S-Pen convenience. The camera on the Z Fold 3 is just not a patch on the Note 20 Ultra and no amount of software tweaking can make up for that. The S-Pen on the Z Fold 3 lacks almost all the features on the S-Pen on the Note 20 Ultra in that it doesn't have Bluetooth, so is basically a dumb stylus, which you need a special phone case to carry it in. To get back Bluetooth you need the S-Pen Pro, which is just big and horrid and needs to be charged via a USB C cable (no wireless charging!?). And then you have the extra hassle of carrying it around and trying not use lose it because at the moment there isn't a phone case that holds it. If the Z Fold 3 is really the future for the Note range, and I really hope it isn’t, Samsung needs to give the future Z Fold 4 a Note 20-esque S-Pen and place to store and charge it inside the phone and a camera that matches or exceeds next year’s flagship Galaxy S phone, otherwise they could stand to lose some of their loyal Note customers. This just feels like Samsung are not listening to loyal customers, and they could make the same mistake as Microsoft did when they removed the Start button from Windows 8.

My note 10 plus was good until the S pen legitimately started melting inside the phone I agree with what you said but they could of seriously gone the iPad Pro route and stuck magnets to it honestly don’t miss my note much now I’ve got the m1 iPad Pro but damn I was really hoping Samsung would make the fold 3 insane I’m pretty disappointed with it tbh this ain’t the future it’s a massive back step that pens massive too for the fold 😂

I'm started to think what a person said on a comment video from a different RUclipsr. The S21 and S21 Plus are suppose to be downgraded version of the S21 Ultra. The S21 Ultra is the true flagship, next comes the Plus with similar specs other then storage and screen resolution, and last you have the S21 the budget version. I think Sammy struggled because of Apple wanting to make phones that can please their fan base. With Apple decision the made the XR the budget version, SE for small displays users, the Pro Max for big displays users, and Pro for 6.2 displays users. Don't forget about the Mini too. By Sammy doing this idea for their S21 series. That's why it done kind of bad. For the S20 series all the phones had 1440, SD slots, and glass backs. But Sammy can always fix these mistakes, which I don't really see them as mistakes. But I'm wondering is the S22 Ultra going to have that under camera display tho 👀🔥

I feel like the Flip 3 may do better than the Fold 3. Samsung seems to be betting on Note customers to transfer over to the Fold 3. As a Note user myself I just have no interest in foldables. I have the Note 20 Ultra (was able to get it for $330 with trade in) and the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus. I'm not upgrading any time soon.

How have u found it on the durability side of things from every day use? Have you ever dropped it? I'm thinking heavily of getting the Z flip 3 I'm still on edge about it though lol
@@muhammadibraheemtariq8043 Im sorry I cannot really attest to their durability. My zfold2 is only been with me for 5mons and I've only dropped it once. So far, it is still in pristine condition. There is only one little bubble on the the inner screen protection on the middle. I am using a spigen slim armor pro case for it. I heard this is the best case for it. I have a z flip before albeit for only 3-4mons. Had it traded for zfold 2 because I feel that one is not really durable. Saw a lot of users having problems with it in a facebook group so I made the decision to make a trade. Maybe the new ones are bit improved. If you eventually decided to buy zflip 3, getting an insurance is definitely a must.
I love the Z fold 3, If I have the cash, I will surely buy it, especially because now it supports the pen!
Galaxy Z Fold can be a phone , a tablet and a PC with samsung dex mode. All in a small package cool and its water resistant

This was done really well as a zfold2 user I apreciate the honestly about the zfold3 . A lot of people have screwed up when it has come to the zfold3 review. I'm not apposed to people getting the zflip3 as it maybe better for some people.
I think samsung may have removed the 2 biggest barriers for people. Those being price and durability.
Flip is more like a fashion phone while fold 3 has really a purpose.

That's why Samsung needs a Z Fold 4 and... a Z Fold 4 Ultra next year. Because I will pay a few hundred more for better camera and bigger Z Fold Screens on front and on the inside which gives space for bigger battery and possibly an S pen slot like on the Note Phones. Either way I will Pre-Order the Silver Z Fold 3. S Pen 🖊 & water resistance is why I'm upgrading.
As expected, no periscope lenses but they do include the s pen feature. Although, I would still want a 100x zoom feature if I'm going to pay 2 grand for a phone. S and Note series user here since 2012.

I have just recently brought HUAWEI Mate Xs Foldable at great price which I couldn't say no to it killer both z fold 2 and 3. Huawei is king of foldable.
Last year I work get would've ordered the fold, this year the more reasonable price makes the fold 3 very appealing
