    Check out the latest ICF ACC Coaching Demo 2021 👇🏻
    👉🏻 • ICF Associate Certifie...
    In this Coaching Demonstration, ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC), Jedidiah Alex will take you through a demonstration of the ICF Core Competencies ratings at the ACC level to help you prepare for your Credentialing.
    In this Coaching Demonstration, Jedidiah Alex, MCC, takes you systematically through a coaching conversation in a structured flow. Ideally the coaching conversation should feel like a flow and not formulaic, it has to feel like a natural conversation that creates a masterful impact. It is a good way to learn the various aspects in the coaching conversation as you are starting out on your coaching journey. As you progress in your experience, the conversational flow will be more fluid and will deep dive into the clients' world.
    As you watch and listen to the recording, use the ICF Core Competencies Ratings Levels at the ACC/PCC Level.
    I will encourage you to take a journal or notepad to write down your observations, learnings and questions. This will help you to improve your coaching.
    If you have questions about the competencies you may post them on the comment section or in our FB Groups.

    I like how the client describes the comfort zone as where nothing grows. 🔥

    This speaks to me directly. I’m at the ACC Level, trying to rack up my 100 hrs, do the certifications but getting people to coach remains the biggest problem. On the demo coaching itself, the approach is excellent. Takeaways for me included - powerful questions, active listening, using the coachee’s agenda and co-creating the space which made it safe for the coachee to open up. Great teaching here. Well done Alex.

    I just spent over an hour watching this again. This is a such great example and structure. It is rich that the more I listened to it the more I pick up on. I can see that the coach is truly being a coach and not doing coaching. Also, I like how the client interacts and shares his thoughts so openly. Thanks.

    The misconception of freedom and control, when starting a business?!? Someone needs to let him know. There may eventually be some freedom, but the work needed to build a business takes so much time and mental/physical energy.

    If a client wants to use the session for exploring something, how can the smart goal be formulated?

    Are there any other demos that may have a clearer, louder volume from both participants?

      Is it a close question or not... if you have a better option, is there a more comfort for you... then the answer would be yes or not

      We teach a technique for memory placement, so that you can memorise the clients words while being present with them

    This was a painful experience for me to get through. I'd feel foolish for paying for this experience.

    • @OldManOnTrak
      @OldManOnTrak 10 месяцев назад

      Can you explain what was painful for you?

    • @illiJomusic
      @illiJomusic 10 месяцев назад

      @OldManOnTrak the questions don't illicit any emotions, the they don't directly the client to go deeper, it's formulaic. And what is it, and what do you, and what does that, and what would. At the end the client basically say Im going to do is what I was what I was wondered if I should do which is work on coaching and take a good job if it comes up. No development. No reframing, no searching for new opportunities to practice the skill of coaching, no empathizing. He also uses leading questions to inform the efficacy of the session. "I can see a sense of lightness on this topic since we began, do you feel lighter?"

  • @coachbellini

    This is an interesting coaching session, but I would prefer it if the coach actually offered some practical advice.
    This client isn't going to figure things out on his own, considering how divided he is between his two options.
