#MondayMailbox Recently on console there have been tons of problems with people overloading the servers and right now I don’t feel like it is a main focus of Ubisoft. There are multiple games in a row where my team goes up 3-0 but that last round someone on the other team will overload the server and kick us from the game. How do you think Ubisoft needs to address this?
This season definitely has potential, the operators are fun to play and viable, the kanal rework is amazing in my opinion and there has been some good buffs and nerds to make the game more balance. However there has been no effort in addressing the major hacking issues on PC and the DDossing and MnK on console

What do you think of an operator that places a gadget next to a hole that has been blown into the wall and depending upon the size of the hole, this gadget can display a hologram in the hole, making it appear as though the wall is solid, but also allowing players to still move through it if they are aware the hole is there?
I always liked the idea of an operator that had a foam type gadget that would fill holes in reinforced walls and make it a soft wall and do the same with the bottom of castles barricades or doorways and windows
What about expanded custom game options? I feel a good step would be some small changes, like presets for Sledge Myers, ESL Settings, and also a system where you can ban as many operators in a match as you want. Also, Halo 5 uses a custom games browser so you can find custom games what if you could make a lobby and activate it for a custom browser to find people to play minigames with you?
The custom skins could be implemented as community designed skins like through the steam workshop. Games like warframe have been selling 3d modeled skins at a premium for years, 2d skins would be even easier.
To add on to the question about the personalized weapon skins, I think a really good way to go about it would be for Ubisoft to incorporate it through a two or three step, primary secondary (potentially tertiary) colors, system. Like primary color could determine the dominant color and/or texture of the skin, while secondary could determine and less dominant colors of the given design, and tertiary could determine the color of things like the tip of the barrel and the trim and handle of the gun. This way Ubisoft could simplify it to a very easy process that would still greatly increase personalization options.
Making weapon skins is actually super easy. I spent a summer learning to make guns in 3d software and the skin was the easiest part. Each gun is a series of polygons that "unfolds" into a map which is a flat, 2D image. There are usually 2 layers that are used to define a skin, the chromatic layer, which is what color everything is, and one that is the bump layer, which determines how light reflects off of it (e.g. is it reflective? matte? transparent?). You only need to export the chromatic layers as templates (really easy to do) and give them out to players to paint like a coloring book. I can go into more details, but this was probably the easiest part of making a weapon in an engine.

Amaru strat Lion Ash Amaru Thatcher Thermite/Hibana The first three operators apply immense pressure to the sights they wanna attack. Whoever is playing Amaru should watch for rotates and run outs. Thatcher and Thermite/Hibana can go for their breaches and Amaru has to time when to make her move to create a huge amount of pressure onto the, whether It be by window, finding a hatch, or simply being the first in the building and waiting for the right time to push the flank.
Isaac Wells you don’t need 5. I simply listed the roles. The only ones truly helping her is mainly Lion. Ash is good at applying pressure. And the other two are just doing hard breaching.
For the create your own skin thing, a more viable option would be to put up the software on the Ubi website and let people make their own skin to submit for future release. If it gets chosen, you will automatically be given the skin on your ubisoft account. Seems like a great way to get the community involved.
In a car game you can paint a car, and put stickers on it. It doesn’t look that difficult to make. As long as you can chose the colour and if it needs to be matt or chrome, something like that could make some big changes on the weapon skins.
Yeah but then nobody would buy the skins they already made, but I guess they didn't put much effort into them either compared to the ones in alpha packs

I really expected this operator after finding out they were releasing Maverick. I think A good implementation would be a gun like Hibana's that can shoot foam at the walls. Maybe if the hole is to big it can overhang and you can shoot another to seal it completely. It might be to difficult to make but I like the idea.
For the custom skin idea, what if Ubisoft released the UAV maps for the weapons, let people customise them and then import them. And for like a low price (e.g. 8k renown or 100 creds), you can apply that skin. The price would stop people from recreating cool rare skins without a price attatched. This would also allow people to share the skins with others.

I think the only way to change Tachanka would be to have him still be 1 speed and 3 armor but have him be able to move while holding his hmg, then he can plant it down with a quick animation and get to work, then if he wants to move just pick it up and move over
I think they should give Tachanka an LMG primary with a Bipod but his ability is a prompt to put up a face shield (like Blackbeards) but only when the Bipod legs are kicked out and he's locked in position. (on a desk, box or crate.) So- Stationary but threatening with a smaller target yet able to redeploy and move around quickly.
Probably the only way I can think of to buff Tachanka is just to completely scrap his turret, make his primary weapon an LMG with a bipod and (*maybe*) a light ballistic shield. That way he can move from spot to spot and maintain his supposed ability to lock down an angle of approach.
i think the devs have given those guns 20 rounds for a reason, they are both very solid guns the way they are and giving them more rounds would just make them spray and pray cheese graters
For Tanchanka I think they should put his turret on wheels with the ability to lean, but it would move incredibly slowly. What's the advantage to using the turret over his gun? Well it could be the only gun that could shoot through shields, countering blitz Montagne and even Blackbeard. Standing still isn't a death sentence, people stand still to hold angles, the problem with Tachanka is you can't hold angles if you can't make mini adjustments and lean.
It would be nice if there were variations of elites. If you buy an elite, there should be variations, like the original elite, or a black, grey, or even a white version. Adds some variety of colors to the elite skins and make them refreshing to the eye

Anyway, what about a system for Recruit that allows him to buy attachments and cross-CTU weapons? He'd still be pointless, but he wouldn't slow his team down and it would open up tons of fun strats and loadouts. Also, Attack Recruits with a shield can't equip secondary shotguns or SMGs (except for the Bailiff, which would certainly be a unique concept by itself) and 2- and 3-Speed Defense Recruits can't equip Acog weapons or the .44 Mag,except for the TCSG-12 and said .44 Mag, which the 2-Armors get as well.
Her gadget is great, her gun really helps balance her out more. On the other side, the shields are ok but the extended barrel for the Vector makes a really good gun, GREAT
for the design your own skins ubisoft could release a seperate software in which you could create your own skin then upload it to a network of skins that you can download into your game

I agree, to make Tachanka viable they should make him a 4 armor 0 speed juggernaut but I think the only way that works is if he can absorb more than one shot to the head.
Buff tachanka: make the animation of him placing down and putting down his tachanka more faster so that when he is stuck in a position that is very badd for him, he can just get out of there by doing a quick animation and moving his turn out the way. If they do do the 0 speed 5 armor option for the chunker they should make it to where he takes 2 head shots the down and Multiple bullets to kill was hes downed

Make chanka either have some other utility and a lmg primary or if you go with the juggernaut idea give his helmet heath and a equip mechanic which lowers chankas view but makes him headshot immune and possibly giving his an overheal like aspect, still being a 3 armor but reducing his speed in that state kinda like when monty shield is deployed

If Tachanka gets 4 armor, 0 speed, they should make him have the same armor/health as the bombers in TH. It takes 2 headshots to take him down. Downside is that he can't sprint (maybe)

Tachanka should be 10 armor 10 speed 500 round LMG with 500 damage like a true god

I agree, to make Tachanka viable they should make him a 4 armor 0 speed juggernaut but I think the only way that works is if he can absorb more than one shot to the head.
what do you think of a defending operator that has a gadget like lesion but instead of doing damage it continuously pings the player like lion.
Buff tachanka: make the animation of him placing down and putting down his tachanka more faster so that when he is stuck in a position that is very badd for him, he can just get out of there by doing a quick animation and moving his turn out the way.
If they do do the 0 speed 5 armor option for the chunker they should make it to where he takes 2 head shots the down and Multiple bullets to kill was hes downed

Make chanka either have some other utility and a lmg primary or if you go with the juggernaut idea give his helmet heath and a equip mechanic which lowers chankas view but makes him headshot immune and possibly giving his an overheal like aspect, still being a 3 armor but reducing his speed in that state kinda like when monty shield is deployed

Each color or feature added on said skin could cost some renown and colors or features onto charms and optics. Make tachanka headshot proof he has a big ass metal helmet, I think this would actually be pretty balanced, but also only when he's in turret, have him flip up or down the visor depending on if he's in the turret

If Tachanka gets 4 armor, 0 speed, they should make him have the same armor/health as the bombers in TH. It takes 2 headshots to take him down. Downside is that he can't sprint (maybe)

What do you think about a rework for Tachanka where instead of the turret being on the stand attach a bi pod to the gun, make it fast to pick up and put down so if he needs to move he can. But take away his shield.
