Licensing isn't an issue for siege. They have been using fake guns names since the beginning and havent gotten into any legal trouble over it.
Edit: In regards to the battlepass it is already apparent that Ubi is cutting content for it, given that this coming season there will be only two seasonal skins. We saw this with operation chimera as well, when the universal skins were used to sell the event packs.

I'm fine with fewer maps, it makes it easier to remember maps and make old ones better. However I'm fine if they recycle weapons as long as we get a few new ones like what they did with lion and finka.

That aside, I think this will be the last year of the player base increase at this rate, recycled weapons, NO new maps, underwhelming operators, additional monetisation and two new similar games in the near future (new ghost recon and Quarantine).....this game is close to becoming very stale - of which I hope doesn't happen.

Gabe Monce no. God no. This game is already monetized to an extreme, ( season passes, elite skins, bundles, unique limited time event alpha packs, + the 40$ you bought the game for. Ubisoft already has made bank with the game, and considering their profits are in the high greens, i dont see them the need to make more money.

I don't think recycled weapons are a big deal, and to be frank, the season pass doesn't even promise new weapons, they promise new ops.
Yeah, this is what i found on the siege site about what's promised in the Year 4 pass:

People expect new weapons after 3 years of new ops with new weapons. So when people are given something and then it gets taken away, they get upset.
Don’t Worry Bout it thank you someone gets it, if they would have communicated that no ops would have new guns I guarantee they would have lost a lot of money. People really eating up their excuses for being lazy and adding even more cash grabs in an already 4 year old game.

What do you think of an operator that could coat the ground with some sort of slippery ice (defender or attacker idk) that would cause players to go through an animation (similar to nomad’s) if they sprinted over this ice causing them to fall over. The way to get around tho would be the crouch walk over it. This would be effective if put around a corner or on a window ledge and if someone rounded it while sprinting then or vaulted into a window, then they would slip and fall causing them to be vulnerable.

When I first I got into siege at the start of year two the new weapons always got me excited. But the last two seasons have disappointed me because I always looked forward to the new weapons.

@@spoiIt well then you wouldn't be wanting a refund because of no new guns, they are adding new abilities and new ops which can have completely different styles of play. Old guns on operators with different speeds and armors mean those guns can be used in whole new ways
What do you think about a insulation like foam spray on defence that can block up hatches from below, you spray it on and it expands and blocks up the hatch so it can’t be exploded normally.

What are your thoughts on introducing a defensive operator (3 armour & 1 speed) that specialises in reinforcements? I was thinking it would be interesting if they added an operator that had extra reinforcements that were quicker to deploy and denied enemies breaching through walls (with exceptions like Thermite, Hibana and maverick) but also still allows visible lines of sight. Sort of like the grid shaped security gates on store front windows to prevent entry.
#MondayMailbox what do you think of buffing the suppresor by allowing the player to remove it in game to increase gun damage? It could be a 3 second animation, similar to Ghost Recon Wildlands.
This would actually be pretty cool, lots of shit i see in this comment section are people in bronze with 3 brain cells, but this is a nice change of pace

I would of added the pp19 and the rpk, the mini uzi and the ak47. The pp19 and mini uzi for the defenders primary weapons. The ak47 and rpk for the attackers primary.

Q: *GLAZ BUFF* when prone no rifle recoil + have an uninterrupted switch between Thermal scope and other standard sight selected. Ie. have two sights offset from each other that has a near instant switch between them unlike the current hand flip mode.

the offense would absolutely destroy. a lot of defeneces gadgets are things that you place down, and their weapons are much weaker. the offense has gadgets that can be used on the move. it would be really onesided and broken.

If they decide to try the 'metal bar' operator similar to Castle. Maybe a way to balance the gadget would be allowing soft breachers (excluding Sledges hammer) to break the gadget with two charges (i.e. two grenades, two Ash charges, two breach charges, and so forth). The gadget could also be destroyed by a single hard breacher. The operator would have either 2 or 3 gadgets (3 may be too much). Plus this would be a counter to the new.
I think that unranked will replace casual for most players
they should just delete casual. No point in having both playlists IMO
With the metal bars idea it could probably work with a clear bullet proof glass so that you can see people on each side but you won’t be able to just get an easy kill from it. That way it’ll give the defense intel with who is on offense and the defense can also gain intel as well. Honestly it’s a pretty good idea

I started in wind bastion and it wasnt hard to learn most of the weapons
most people want new weapons (at least every once and awhile) so every 2-3 seasons they can add new guns and a new map so it gives everyone enough time to learn recoil (sense that's a problem) and what they should do with the battle pass is make the premium free and for people who don't want to full out grind it make it so they can either get more challenges for it or buy there way through it. And give warden a ability buff and the p90 like to get this noticed by more people

I feel that ubi is prob just scared of another Ela situation, a new really good op with an equally as good new weapon. With using older weapons, they could focus on a new op with a balanced gadget.

If they aren’t going to release any new weapons then the people who bought his season should be given enough renown for 2 operators the next season
What do you think about an attacking operator than can turn on the sprinkler system on a specific floor if any map? Any defensive operators on that floor would get wet and as a result, their movement would become much louder. There could even be towels located around the map where defends could dry off. This would be a great way for operators to interact with their environment

Id say that the metal bars are still viable but instead can be destroyed by soft breachers, electrified by teammates, and placed over other barricades(castle and standard) so it takes two charges(or whatever explosive) to open up the entry point

What do you think about an attacking operator that has access to some kind of gadget like the decoy grenade from counter strike? They could throw the grenade or device down on one side of the hallway that would then play sounds such as gunfire or footsteps etc. Whilst you attack from the other side of the hallway? They could make the window bars so you have to kick them in I dunno like 3 times or have holding points on either side that you have to shoot from the outside

I liked the way Premium worked back in BF3 and 4.
You get early access to the new maps and weapons, along with occasional goodies and challenges.
It would be cool if they integrated Battle Pass into VIP.
Im pretty happy with the way they handle the weapons. If we get 1-2 new ones a year, thats enough for me (personally).
Also, if they give the old weapons to more operators, that makes the skins more viable.

What would you think of a gadget that fires Explosive Bullets? I think that would go nicely with that iron bars one. Perhaps when you shoot it at a reinforced wall it creates a small bullet hole in it, and can be used to assist Thermite and Hibana. Could be used to open hatches or destroy those iron bars/castle barricades. Perhaps it doesn't hurt the defenders as much as normal bullets, and you only get a mag or 2.
what do you think about getting new weapon attachments possibilities?.
For example new optic sights, that you can combine these scopes with each other.
As a weapon build you got vertical grip, compensator and a holo sight with a magnifier that goes up to 2,4x zoom like the acog.
Hey, what do you think of a defending operator who can install thick layers of metal in Mira's windows, if they break. and the holes that hibana and mabrik make. But it can also partially block the entrenc that thermit makes. The metal sheets will be large as a crouched operator. This sheet of metal can be folded to be installed on one side, for the safety of the operator.
The metal bar idea could be the buff castle needs ... for windows though, would be OP for doors
With that operator that puts a metal bar I would’ve thought that maybe they put that as an attacker to stop roamers from jumping out windows
What do you think of an defensive operator that has one or two devices that can capture and hold one enemy throwable at a time? If would then be on the player to choose if/ when they would like to release the throwable possibly using it against an enemy. It would have similar weaknesses to maestro’s cams and would drop the throwable when disabled from an emp or shock drone
Do you think with the new map rotation system going into effect with casual, should they just focus on rotating the maps for the new comers playlists and leave casual alone? Feel this would be a better way to help out the new players without effecting those who have been around longer
What about an attacking operator that can throw a canister of liquid helium. This would freeze a set area of reinforced wall which would allow the attacking team to melee the wall poking holes in it or a breach charge/ ash/zofia/sledge etc. to break through it. This can also act as an aoe making operators slide forward and “freeze”up their optics or screen. They would only get two canisters and jäger would counter it but wouldn’t be affected by the electric effect of bandit or kaid but the frozen section would still be electrified. The effects only last 20seconds and will diminished in size for a further 15 seconds
I just finished building my first gaming PC and I tried the newcomer playlist to practice on Siege since your progression doesn't carry over from console and I've never played mouse and keyboard before, but it never loaded me into a game so I played the Situations and some casual matches.
More weapons with integrated suppressor like the MP5SD would be cool. AS-VAL, Honey Badger, or maybe even a modified VSS so it can be used in CQC.
AS VAL is basically a VSS designed for CQB

What they should do for the battle pass system is that season pass either gets the premium tier or their own separate tier in the middle of free and premium but it will need to be balanced and actually make sense
Metal bars where only two ops can brake is a good idea, but putting a shield in front of the window where anyone with an explosive can brake is just over powered
what do you think about zofia being a counter to caveira? this could be if she withstands before caveira begins the interrogation, then she could resist the caveira and do some cool animation throwing the cav off of her? maybe instead of outright killing the cav it could be like a nomad airjab that throws her back so that the zofia will have to react quickly to confirm the kill.
Metal door with 2 way bullet proof window and maybe an explosive on one side to quickly blow the hinges for defenders to rotate
What do you think about a defensive operator who’s gadget would be a flare gun which would function similarly to a flashbang. It could be used to slow down offense if they’re being to aggressive. But Thatcher could counter it with his emp grenade
Hey mat, how do you feel about the problem of DDOSing the servers on Xbox these past few seasons. If you are unfamiliar, once you are ranked higher than plat 3 most players find that about a quarter of their games get DDOS and you are unable to play on attack because the other team hits the server and you can’t move. It causes you to have to forfeit and lose rank and Ubisoft hasn’t addressed the issue.
Do you think having this new unranked playlist will cause Ubisoft to question reworking fan favorite maps such as Airplane or House to fit into this playlist or do you think they may just add these maps to the unranked que for the fan-base?
What do you think about system that when you chose operators you can mark the operator for your teamates , like they gonna to rush but they need hard breacher

What would your thoughts be on a attacking jäger? Someone who has one bigger trophy system for the attackers? Especially with bomb being the only ranked mode.
What do you think about people being able to take out their knife just as they would a primary or secondary firearm. They could do it like Counter Strike where your weapon can slightly change your movement speed. It could be a nice touch. And would make knife only more fun
