I’ve always thought that just because a operators pick rate is high/low is a deciding factor in nerfing/buffing to be the main reason siege has become a hollow shell of itself.

On console those secondaries aren’t even backups they just can’t be used. You’d be better off trying to reload or knife rushing
For the secondary smgs on console only the smg 11 is controllable until your have the skill of really high ranks then bearings controllable as well smg 12 ass regardless
At distance yes, but if you're close enough to consider knife rushing they can shred
if you dont just spray and pray they work fine
Depend on what secondary (the pistol in general are pretty good. And some SMG are somewhat usable mainly Clash's SMG and the C75 Auto... Tho am still salty that Kali lost her pistol for the SMG she already had a SMG arguably a better one in fact)
I play on pc, and can assure you those weapons only work up close and personal, cause the recoil is almost unbearable. Check when people play on pc using the smg-11 on videos that they shot no more than 3 or 4 bullets per spray

I have the PERFECT solution for valk. If her cameras are thrown outside they get the same buzzing effect as if a drone is near a mute jammer. This would reduce visibility and block audio ques.
Question: Do you think Alibi should have a rework where you can create your own decoys? Like a crouch one, a prone one...
That's such a much-needed buff after people learned her standard position is probably a decoy.
What if how you are when you throw her gadget is how it deploys? For example if you're crouching and throw one your decoy crouches.
I would prefer her being able to make decoys of her teammates

0:30 glaz's original ability was this and you can still do this. And the only DMR that needs a buff is kali. Give her back the down on chest shot but let it instant kill if the damage is enough for an insta kill.
I would love a canted iron sights on dmrs like there was on BF4. Actually surprisingly useful on there and would be even more useful on Siege.

Your dmr utility buff gave me an op idea. For attack how about a character that can switch out the magazine of their weapon to replace it with emp rounds. They only have one mag of 30 and it takes different amounts of bullets to disable different gadgets. A melusi could take 6 bullets while an evil eye take 5 and to disable clashes shield it could take 9 or 10. If it needed a buf you could even give it a splash effect with slight piercing to the other side of reinforced walls to disable bandit batteries or electro claws placed near the wall but that would take almost the whole mag. The emp bullets can be used against players but have a significant damage reduction of say 50% but still get the 1 shot head shot incase you get jumped you can still land a flick

To add to the first question about DMRs, maybe have an attachment that have a one usage smoke or impact grenade? It occupies the secondary gadget slot so it wouldn't be overpowered, but you can only have this equipped on DMRs and operators that have this weapon available to them. Just a thought
why would you want it as an attachment when you can have a regular attachment plus the secondary gadget slot, don’t know if i’m understanding correctly tho

Monday mailbox idea: If jackal is scanning someone, about to scan someone, or already has scanned someone the victim could go into the radius of a mute jammer and will get the same encounter as if a cavi uses her ability
What if Nokk gets a buff where when she used her gadget she would delay proximity traps
Alibi’s hologram should have the ability to lean or prone once in a while to draw the attention
Mossie and echo drones can be moved through the camera system, to move call cams you would have to run out.
That valk change would fuck over casuals big time

The reason why Echo and Mozzie can’t stay outside is because their gadgets are mobile. You can technically put Evil Eyes outside but they are clunky to do. I personally don’t think they should just remove features like this because it’s a give and take of the game. The defense needs intel to make decisions as well as the attackers. If they bring a Valkyrie you should have an IQ as she is really good. But a counter idea to it; keep it so she can throw it outside but have it make a noise almost like the new drone pinging noise.
People tend to over looked simple things like trade offs in design when they are uo in arms about things in this game
What do you think about converting Oryx's charges into a single charge bar (like Vigil and Nokk)? It would allow Oryx to cover a lot of ground fast and more flexibility on where his dash ends.
The evil eye and bulletproof cams can be placed outside with no issues
But those take effort and time, valk you just yeet it and it sticks to just about anything.
Indeed tho I wouldn'T call them Hidden onlike the Valk cams. (if you put those outside you got the right to get it destroy by any attaquer whit a 2 IQ or get shot out trying to place it down.)

pretty much the only gadjet that can be hiden outside and got a large area of effect Well onless you count the Mozzie or Echo drone but since they can't go outside... (and those are the closest think to a valk cam in my opinion AKA hiden observation tool)
I always liked the idea of an operator that can throw a device that'll explode with expanding foam like what's on Elsa's gadget that can cover a broken area but itll be another version of a soft wall that can be shot through but itll be less visual then a broken whole
Matimi0 just a idea for the hostage game mode but why don't they turn it into a protect the vip type mode for defenders and the attackers have to go in to apprehend him/her and the thing is the defenders can literally choose where they wanna defend because they can pick up and move the "VIP" wherever they need to whenever they need to I think it would be a cool concept to try so we can see more than the bomb game mode
My ideas:
1) her cameras should make a faint sound and glow after she dies
2) if she throws a camera outside it should only work for 10-15 seconds before it stops working. This way she would still retain some of her identity.
Operation suggestion: what would you think of an operation that can shoot or throw a reinforcement. It could be used in multiple situation if a soft wall was breach and it leaves people vulnerable you can just shoot/throw a reinforcement instead of exposing yourself. Also it could reinforce hatches that are on the roof of maps :)
Instead of nerfing Valkarie, buff IQ. Make it to where if a gadget is outside it can be detected from a longer range than if it was inside.
Question for future episode: to balance out the higher defender win rate, how about allowing 1 attacker to change operator during the prep phase? This makes droning and finding what ops the defenders have more important, allowing the 1 attacker swap to be impactful.
A possibility is to give dmr’s the ability to destroy hard targets like bullet proof cams, mistro cams, etc...

What do you think about adding a second type of reinforced wall? It would act similar to a castle barricade in that it would stop bullets but possibly DMRs or shotguns could shoot through it. It would act as a slight nerf to defense if they had 5 regular reinforced walls and 5 light reinforced walls but would allow DMRs and shotguns utility if you decided to bring one. Could be interesting. Curious about your thoughts.
I'm thinking for dmrs, maybe instead of them working exactly like an emp for about 5-10 seconds, gadgets would only be disabled for about half a second, but if you kept shooting it reset the time. I think that would create cool dynamics where a dmr user would have to choose between holding an angle or disabling bulletproof gadgets like maestros evil eye. P.S. the disabling for the evil eye should probably just jam it like drones with mute. Feel free to provide criticism for this idea
A nice DMR example is from Black Squad, that free game on Steam. I love the double sight.
valk cams outside only work in certain maps, valk´s pick rate is that because of the cameras inside feeding with late round information. buff IQs gadget for the cams outside. A good Iq can stop any good valk in her tracks with little to no effort

I am a console player and I've talked about this in comments of other videos but I don't have a problem with recoil. After a few T-hunts Im good to go and I don't have issues whether it be Buck C8, Twitch F2, or any of the secondary smgs. I think that the people who have problems with controlling said recoil are either weaker players, they don't practice enough, or their sense is off for them.
Regarding DMRs taking out gadgets like maestros evil eyes or melusi banshees. I think Ubi should give these gadgets weak points or places that you would have to shoot like how you can shoot out a bullet proof camera if you get bellow it or to the side of it. It would force players to think differently about how they would destroy the gadget or it will reward players who are a good shot and can hit the weak points first try exposing themselves as little as possible. It could also promote team play and creative thinking. If the DMRs become two strong then ubi can add multiple weak point that need to be shot in order to destroy the gadget.
Bucks console recoil wasn’t that bad prior to his buff.

Maybe the cameras could trun a brighter colour when they are outside so they are easier to see
Maybe to buff the dmrs they could possibly increase the soft wall damage to a reasonable amount or they could have potential to maybe break a bullet proof cam with 5-6 shots
For the console recoil thing I think that it’s a good idea for newer players but because I run a high sens I never had that issue, I still control the smg 11 perfectly fully auto at any range, I spawn peek with that thang
Only recoil that is a problem on console is the random drifting to the side. The smg slams right after like 6 rds
What do you think about a buff to kali by removing her snipers and replacing with a burst assault rifle. She still keeps the essence of a marksman but has a more viable weapon.

I would say give her the same treatment as tachanka, give her another primary but keep the sniper as a choice. I honestly enjoy her sniper but sometimes it would be nice to have her gadget and a normal gun

Monday Mailbox Idea: James - With the addition of the rumored/leaked explosive round that is used to take out bulletproof objects, give that explosive round to only to DMRs. I feel like that would raise the number of DMR users along with adding a stronger sense of utility to the DMR. DMRs would have the same ammo capacity along with one extra Mag of higher penetrating bullets to pierce through Melusi-Banshee and Maestro-Evil Eye
What DMR's and Kali's sniper ACTUALLY need is only a 25% damage reduction when firing through surfaces, alongside fixing scopes so only the view within the scope is magnified instead of your entire goddamn screen
What would you think about removing the movement penalty from blitz and fuze's shields? I feel like with the new guard break and everything, blitz in particular is underperforming. This could also make sense in the lore since their shields are regular ballistic shields where as monty has the extra metal that extends as part of his gadget.

On the DMR discussion, what about adding a under barrel "Flare" with 1 ammo, that could destroy 1 bulletproof gadget? Buck would be a little problem tho.

Maestro's cameras don't get disabled when put outside. But at the same time you have to physically go outside and set it up, it's a risky Strat.

Monday Mailbox question: what If Alibi got a rework where she instead of placing 3static Hologramms she can Press the Gadget Button and do Any Action for 5 Seconds. When she releases it , she creates a Hologramm of herself which goes through this 5 Seconds Loop over and over again until she creates another Loop. If she Shot in the recording the Hologramm would shoot holorounds which dont make an Impact soundand dont Deal damage but still make the sound. The ability would have a cooldown of Like 30 seconds
It'd be a decent balance for her. We always ban valk on consulate, coastline, border, and kanal because there are so many potential places her cams can be outside.
Even if you had an IQ, it would take awhile to run around and find it.
I've always wondered if giving DMRs a bonus 1 shot zone, such as a heart shot would help them or break them.
What do you think of a new playlist. This playlist would be ranked, but it would be the length of a casual game. To make it fair it would only give 10-15 mmr per win.

On console rn there is a glitch where you can cancel a match at the end of the match. Do you think Ubisoft will ban the people who are doing the surrender glitch and why haven’t they fixed it sooner.

Id say no Valk cams outside for "consistency" of utility or lose 1 cam... DMRs with 45° iron sights would be great, but I like the idea of them effecting utility a lil better... IMHO

There default cameras outside the map so it makes no sense for valks cams to be disabled when outside
I have been playing R6 on xbox with a standard controller for about a year and a half now and controlling the recoil on secondary SMGs isn't particularly hard assuming that you take some time and dump an hour or so into T-hunt
(except the SMG-12 that thing is just impossible with the side-to-side recoil)

Do you think ubisoft should add a new game mode for solo queuing ranked? I play on console one game I’ll be against solo ques, the next game I’ll be playing a 5 stack. If a solo q player wants to play against stacks they can choose that game mode but otherwise there’s a gamemode for solos only

What do you think of an attack op with a sort of trip wire that gives a sort of echo effect on an enemy? You wouldnt be able to have options on the height but have more places to put than just doorways.
Instead of disabling valks camera because that is unique to her make it so that offense receives a notification whenever in view of valks camera be live players to let them know a runout might happen also remove the ability for dead players to watch her outside cameras

Jokes aside I’ll never understand why people always want to change a character that is good. In situations like Jager, i can understand the annoyance. But overpowered is different than strong. When you nerf the top ops they get replaced by the next best choice.
I think Valk cams outside should like “stutter” so when a drone goes next to mute that kinda effect but a little worse
How do you feel about a possible buff to iq that would allow her drone to see gadgets like her ability? I feel this could make Valk more balanced since iq could easily spot her outside cams during prep phase
Clash nerf idea. She has a small battery on her back (like double the size of a nitro cell) and if it shot (without killing her) or shot by a twitch drone (pseudo twitch drone buff) it would completely disable her electric. She’s banned quite frequently and maybe this would make her less annoying to deal with.

Simple change that will only affect attackers if they look directly at it or if they're looking for it.
What do you think about this setting for the next Battlefield game, The Russian advance throught the Western United States gets halted at the 'Thin Blue Line' aka the Mississippi River. That was almost a year ago and the fighting has only gotten more intensewith every attack and counter attack, No oen has made a breakthrough.....Yet. The game revolves around different parts of the front lines and ther many cities/areas that surrond the river. I coul dimagine Tank battes throught he streets of St Louis. and stealth ops through the Bayou and surrounding areas of New Orleans. Massive battles on the plains of the Iowa and Patrol missions in the Mountaisn of Tennessee.
I would love your opnion on this idea as I have thought about it for months. Love the vids, keep up the great work.
What would think about a two week game mode Where there no instant kill head shot. But only the dmr and snipers have that ability to see of it feels
I used DMRs when they did 60+ damage. Now they are weak and the ttk isn’t balanced.
What about a defensive black beard with a shield he can mount to walls or corners. Super slow ads and body is showing slightly under the shield. Same health as Blackbeard’s shield but more for mounting and holding angles.
As someone who's played console Siege for a significant amount of time, Buck didn't really need a recoil buff, especially after the ACOG loss.
What if for DMRs a debuff on-hit(at close ranges) that increases recoil slightly, giving a better chance at winning a close-range firefight.
Hey Matimi0, what do you think of an operator that can throw gadgets which act a decoys, where you throw one and it attaches to a surface, makes gunfire sound effects, and if thrown on a soft surface can make small destruction holes. It could work like smoke where you throw one down and can remote detonate them, allowing you to decide where and when the effect triggers.
DMRs should definitely destroy studs in walls, and should be able to destroy Castle Barricades, Melusi's Banshees and Bulletproof Cams. Everything else should be able to be destroyed by Kali and Glaz.
I also want more maps with Bulletproof Glass that only Kali and Glaz can shoot through. That unique gimmick on Presidential Plane is so cool, and I want more of it.
For the full auto secondary, i really wish they just remove them from some ops and give them to ops that have weak gadget. From there, they can drastically improve the recoil and it will be a buff for the ops that have them.
The reason why this hasn't happened cos some ops who have full auto secondaries are already OP and the secondary came out with those ops. Also, skins that existed in the bundles. So i really hope, ubi would take a drastic change and start removing guns and switching guns for some ops.
What do you think of a cryo grenade as a secondary gadget, this would temporarily freeze bullet proof gadget that could then be broken with 9 shots from a dmr. This would give the dmrs a buff and allow new operators to take out utility.
