They should add different muzzles to shotguns so you can change the spread. For ex.(Duckbills)
Honestly there should be a hellva a lot more attachments in this game like Modern Warfare levels of attachments for every gun. Siege is supposed be at least a realistic game and it fits with the theme of it and we can get some really creative playstyles (lightweight assault rifle for moving faster but less damage, shotguns with more concreted pellets but less destructive capability, etc) the possibilities are endless. However, the amount of balancing problems is probably going to be ungodly and there are hundreds of different weapons in the game to get some more basic attachments. Still, one can dream.

I think they should also make shotguns do full damage to limbs, including legs
realistically you aren’t gonna be taking anything from a shotgun, but if you do you are more likely to live taking it to the gut and fighting through the pain but if you take a shotgun to the legs you literally just can’t walk.

I feel like another buff could be double the pellet count but half damage. This would make the same amount of damage overall but higher chance of hitting. It would also make them breach better.
i feel like shotguns would become too strong that way. imagine youre low health and then you jsut get sniped from across a room and a half from a shotgun lol

I feel like they could do options as to what type of shot. Bird shot for max destruction but low damage. Buck shot for low destruction less pellets but greater kill distance
Just a little tip when using shotguns. One pellet will allways go in the center of the reticle when you ADS.
If you look closely enough at each of his shots there is a pattern 2 shots average in a triangle

A way they can buff iana is give her back her acog on her g36c and reduce her cooldown time when her hologram is shot .
Her hologram should be able to trigger proximity alarms, barbed wire and banshees to make defenders focus on that angle so she can flank elsewhere
What are your thoughts on a program similar to Overwatch, where at the end of a game you can highlight a player though giving them an award, such as good teammate, shot caller, supporter, where it awards the awarder and awardee? Maybe with renown/XP? #MondayMailbox

Sunday Mailbox: what if attachments had weight qualities?
Let me explain. So I had this idea and I haven't heard anyone else say anything similar but basically what if attachments had weight qualities. This could work in game and it's a variable that affects real life operators on the field. So attachments have pros and cons. Like slowing down your peak and ads speed say a quickdraw and a red dot will weigh less than an acog and a vertical foregrip, but those will have better recoil control and sight picture. SMGs could naturally weigh less to compensate for their low range and damage compared to assualt rifles.
So cod basically?

This negates player customisation and would make a lot of loadouts pointless
Case in point CoD MW, you only ever see guns that have fast ads time, it would happen in Siege, depending on how long it takes for an operator to raise their gun they might never get picked and instead we gravitate toward fast ads operators being the only thing used
#SundayMailbox what about a operator with a canister that sprays a type of foam that hardens. It would work like Mavericks gadget, the foam would be bulletproof and allow you to cover drone holes, breaches etc

I hope they fix the console version of siege. Our side is rough. The start up intro animation lag, the ubisoft club rewards doesnt sycn correctly with ingame currency and cosmetics, the servers have the occasional lag spikes
U need a new Internet provider....i play on ps4 every day and i have no problems
How to buff shotguns: add a shell toggle for some shotguns. Make it viable for someone like Thermite or Castle with the 1014 to unload their shotgun and reload the weapon with slugs or buckshot when you toggle. It won't be too powerful because it would take time to switch and it would allow primary attacking shotguns to become more of a choice than a gag.
How would you feel about Ubisoft adding alpha packs as rewards for doing the Ubisoft Club challenges? I feel like they are kinda pointless and never do them unless they give charms or skins. Monday Mailbox

Zero is amazing. Has 6 cameras. (4 gadgets / 2 drones) Has the ability to utility clear. He isn’t pick on console because when you play with randoms n they die , they just get on their phones irl. Idk how many times my teammates are dead n I have a flank cam and they don’t cycle them.
The que time on console isn’t as bad compared to PC and I feel like there’s more bugs on PC and less on console in my opinion. There’s also the majority of the player base is on console
My queue time on PC is way faster than it is on console. But i think maybe because I'm from APAC server? Most APAC i know people just play on PC most often for most games unless Fifa

I still dont know why we haven't gotten the reputation system that they talked about over 6 months ago. This game is brutal to play right now with the way the community plays. I miss the Siege of old.
Yeah, I totally agree with you. SoloQ ranked isn't so fun anymore especially when you play at plat because you'll just get shouted at by randoms who think his strats are superiors when I pick a non-meta pick like finka.

Monday mailbox castle rework: he now uses 3 clear deployable shields that full penetration weapons can shoot through and have a medium size health pool
New attacker gadget: detonating impact clay. Small clay balls that explode when they hit with enough force, deal 5 damage max, destroys most defender gadgets, exceptions include deployable shields, reinforced walls, maestro evil eyes, Mira windows, Goyo shields. punches a small hole in normal walls
Do you think the limited time events take to much dev time in relation to them making and reworking maps and operators? I feel like we get these limited game modes where it feels like a full fleshed out game but lasts a month and disappears forever
Do you think they should rework Hostage? I find the game mode to be very problematic for two reasons; there is only one objective making it very clustered and messy, the other problem is once the attackers grab the hostage they basically win the round because they now have a human shield and once they step out side they instantly win. I think these problems could be fixed if they made the goal to move the hostage to another part of the building and making the hostage have to be escorted to this area of the building for maybe 30 seconds. I also think they could add this 30 seconds mechanic and make it longer, but they would also need to remove the detected status of the defenders when the hostage is moved. These two solutions will remove the fact attackers instantly win when the hostage is picked up and make the game mode more interesting with a second phase.
Zero is extremely nice to play, I’m a console player and he feels AMAZING to play. Just the ability to have multiple cameras to watch flanks is incredible
BF4s way of balancing shotgun spred is perfect. With sectioned spread with small variance within those sections.
Iana needs to be able to act on information as soon as possible before enemies are able to reposition after they've been found out. Hence:
-Make Iana a 3-speed.
-Increase the animation speed of going in and out of the replicator.
-Reduce max magnification on each of her primaries by 0.5x.
Perhaps adding barrel attachments for shotguns could work, like standard or duckbill chokes to change the spread.
Could make operator bans 2 rounds in stead of 4. Round 1: Orange pick Attacker, Blue picks Defender. Round 2: Orange pick Defender, Blue picks Attacker. Would speed things up and still have the option to counter. Who picks what first can also be random
Siege is so bad now. I can’t stand playing that game (mainly cause of console issues) but I’ll support your vids always Matimio👍

for the bans questions, I originally thought that it would be a total vote system where both teams vote on operator & map bans at once then the ops & maps with the most total votes were banned
Imagine a new operator in defense that has the ability to half reenforce walls. This would allow you to have a very strong cover but you could still peek the angle.
I say you should be able to choose slug rounds, buck shot, or bird shot and ubi could choose which shotguns had which options. bird shot would have lower damage but far tighter spread and less destruction. the other 2 would work similar to how they do now.
Have you noticed a more consistent hit reg problem since Ubi switched to the new servers?
This season has been a joke with hit reg, atleast twice as bad as the past few seasons

What do you think of a pick 10 like system for load-outs in respawn modes. The operator chosen would just be visual and indicate team, and you would have a bank of like 20 "tokens." Each gun would have a token value, each gadget(only secondaries available), you could affect the speed with tokens, and maybe even gun attachments. For example, you could have a loadout with a C7E and SMG-11 but you're stuck at 2 speed with only flashes.
I want it to be a fun and stimulating game mode that will provide a good warmup, without creating a meta and allowing support/flex players the ability to practice their guns without getting stomped.
It could also act as a bridge between tts and main game as you can test something for like a day with the full audience than decide if the change should go to ranked and casual.
Thats a whole different game entirely
@@mulsimin__ I'm fully aware of that. Next month marks 5 months since the release of the game and we only have "3" full-time game modes, hostage and secure are hardly different games from bomb. I was only able to play consistently for 9 months before being completely burned out and bored of the game, so I think adding like three new respawn game modes(kill confirmed, deathmatch, and something like hardpoint) would be essential for the game to continue growing. If that doesn't come in the next two years the game will die very quickly.

@@deathbringer9893 I know there are problems that need to fixed before it would become permanent but sometime in the near future respawn modes will need to be added for this game to survive. They already dropped the number of new ops per season to 1 in order to fix and add new features to the game. They could make the Christmas/New Years LTM another test respawn mode so that in a few seasons they can make it full time.

I think an endorsement level would be a great idea , at the end of each Mach you could endorse teammates and as someone’s endorsement level goes up they could get reknown, alpha packs, and r6 credits
I wish they would add more attachments. With it going as far as they do id like to see more viable attachments, like ones for quicker reloading, extended magazine, more optics ( i know they just added some) but it feels like it would be nice to have a hybrid sights, or even giving trip wires to defending operators that just knocks them down like when oryx tackles you. Or make attackers give an options to either drone or trap a window to prevent spawn peeks and run outs
I'd kinda like for the spread to remain random but there to be 1 or 2 pellets that have a much tighter grouping, the pellets currently punish aiming for headshots if there's always 1 or 2 that remain close to dead centre then headshots can be performed easier

Really good idea with the Banns! Id say take that to Ranked/Unranked and in Custom games, as soon as you activate 6th Pick it goes back to the 1/1/1/1 ban phase. That would allow faster banns in ranked and still tactical banning in Relevant games like R6TM!
4:10 I really like Overwatch's endorsement system, and I think it would certainly help if it was added to Siege.
The color of the gadget that was hacked will change from the red defense color to blue so that way defenders have the option of destroying it. A direct counter to this is Mozzie, Mute

The spread is in the same pattern it just rotates. 2 top left, 2 top right, 1 in the middle and 3 at the bottom.

Shotguns need a range increase. Rising storm has great shotguns
Perhaps add chokes as a muzzle option, reduce spread overall but as a result reduces the size of hole they make significantly. Adding a choke to a shotgun in real life makes an insane difference in spread.
To help fix toxicity in siege, each season ubisoft should make it where at the beginning and middle of every season, if you have consistently good behavior, then you're rewarded with something like 2 epic alpha packs or 1 legendary alpha pack, or maybe both at once at the beginning and middle of every season
What do you think about being able to collect event banners for characters for example you can pull the suger fright banners from the event packs

I think banning at the same time is a huge deal. The biggest thing is that if thatcher is banned there are maps where Kaid becomes INCREDIBLY powerful and but if Thatcher is still up then he’s a lot weaker so knowing they banned thatcher we need to ban Kaid now is very helpful. Same if they ban IQ then Valk and Echo are now a really big deal but that’s way less common
My biggest hope for next season is the Tachanka rework.

Isn't that how shotguns work? Shotgun pellets would always go out of the barrel in a random order and pattern because the barrel is bigger than the pellet. Much more because it is a smooth bore barrel.
Regarding shotguns: give the pump action shotguns 2 more options for muzzle attatchment. Both of these new attatchments would be chokes, 1 would be a horizontal elipse and 1 would be a verticle elipse. The horizontal would with give a slightly wider spread from side to side making it easy to hit your target but do a little less damage and the virticle choke would make it a little harder to hit your target but like do more damage as your shot is more likely to hit more of your target
With the new reveal of the Neon Dawn Operator that seemingly has a gadget that's for door push denial. What do you think of an operator that can hack defensive gadgets like ela, kapkan, melusi, maestro ect. So when those gadgets get hacked they become offensive so if a defender walks into it they get concussed, trip mine, movement slowed.
Waaaay back in the day I only played Valk with the shotFUN. It was amazing.
I like how long the map and operator ban phase is because it gives me enough time to go to the bathroom while my team mates are banning

I think a way to improve shotgun is to make it more accurate during aiming.
Shotguns could be made more consistent by increasing the pellet count and decreasing the damage accordingly, for example 2x pellets-> -50% damage/pellet. With enough pellets they could be organized into multiple concentric polygons for a fixed pattern (with 16 pellets: 1 in the middle, a hexagon around it and around that a nonagon.) #mondaymailbox
the very long down time of siege is the thing that made me rarely play siege anymore
Shotguns dont need a buff, YOU need confidence when using one. Like therussianbadger says “the more you believe in it, the more effective it becomes”. Ever since they took rook’s and doc’s acog, i’ve just used their shotty’s and man they are good when you used them confidently. Push when it seems like a bad idea and catch them off guard
#sundaymailbox @Matimi0, what do you think of an Iana buff where if she has the defuser she can ‘fake plant’ as her hologram. This can give her another layer of deception and put her in the meta.
My biggest hope is that Tachanka is live by then 😭 But seriously I’m hoping the Skyscraper rework turns out well and I’d like further investigation into mouse and keyboard players on console and hit registration overall. Those are my biggest issues with the game now, as I find sound issues to be fairly uncommon, and thus less urgent.
If they do this shotgun buff they could also add new attachments for shotguns like the duck bill for example.
I think it'd be nice if they did this to the slower firing pump shotguns while the semi autos and autos are more random
They need to do what Overwatch does and have an experimental mode(which actually gives EVERYBODY a chance to try changes) where they buff/nerf/rework multiple things in game. It would give everybody a shot at trying something out and get a lot of feedback from players
I think the shotguns should work like they did in Black Ops 3 (i think this is how they worked correct me if i’m wrong) where the 1st pellet that hit did a majority of the damage and the following pellets that hit would do bonus damage so for example 8 pellets -> first pellet does 70 damage then each extra hit adds 5 damage so you’d be able to kill with only a few pellets but if you only hit one you can do a follow up shot and will equal at least 140 damage “just my 2 cents”
I still really want to see the maps, events, and cosmetics that would have come with ela and zofia before operation health took over their season

Monday Mailbox: what you think about a fuze rework where he a grenade launcher that could get rid of utility. This would help this season’s meta of bringing as much of bulletproof gadgets.
What about an idea do help the attackers? Do you think if they were redesigned to have 4 total armor and speed stats, instead of only 3. Do you think this would help even out the attacker defender win rate difference?
I shudder to think what a 0 armor 4 speed would look like.
I hope the new anti-toxicity system has this: you get lower xp/reknown gained the lower your rep is and have higher xp/rekown gained the higher your rep is. So basically,be a good sport and you get the most rewards. Maybe even double chances of getting an alpha pack after a win.
For shotgun how about a base damage + each pellet damage = total output damage. One of the cods did this and I thought I was a swell idea
Yes on defense im a smoke an sometimes mute main an when i pull out my shotgun for close quater combat I expect to when the gunfight in one shot but it takes 2 sometimes 3 shots an i end up loosing the gun fight so i would love for a buff like that for shottis
My only problem with zero on console is that his gadget is near-unusable because some cameras and drones have higher sensitivity for no good reason and so for me 100% sensitivity is jacked up to like 150 on valk cams and zero cams
#mondaymailbox What do you feel about an attacker gadget that can be thrown into a room and blind any observation tools within a certain radius with a flash effect. I feel that this would specifically counter the defender's intel ops without stepping on Thatcher's toes.

I know smite has a goodwill system where if you don't leave matches and aren't toxic you get bonus credits and xp and even some chests to get skins and stuff. Rainbow should implement a system like this
I would like more ammo for shotguns, if you make a rotation hole you are almost out of ammo after it.
Personally I don't mind the unpredictability of them. It adds some realism too them

@Sunday Mailbox, Matimi0, what do you think about making defender's gadgets also active for Defenders, this will make the defensive side more carefully about positioning their utilities, instead like currently the META is about spamming with barbed wires, melusi, kapkan, Gu mines with in a like a Hallway. This also is logical as well, in reality, the traps are triggerred by both sides. I think this will solve the issue that when an attacker dies, his utilities are gone, and when for example, a Jaeger, he can just put 3 ADS and walk around to find some kills, his death won't affect the utilities.
@Matimi0 I was thinking of an operator who has drones that could climb on walls and ceilings. 2 drones and an attacker
I always think of TF2 comp when I think shotgun consistency, a square of pellets that means shotguns perform the same ALWAYS
I think at least the pump shotguns need access to extended barrels and a new choke attachment. That way you have to chose do I want more range but a less precise shotgun or with the new choke you’d have a more precise shotgun but it would require much more skill to get those longer range 1HKO.
Do you think they should add some way of seeing how many people are in each playlist
The biggest thing I think needs work is sound. I would be happy with an entire season dedicated *just* to fixing sound.
Also, make the mobility stat do something.

What are your thoughts on an operator that has some sort of a saw which can cut through the metal bars in-between floors basically making a self made hatch

Ok so in tf2 there is a shotgun called the panic attack, that gun has a fixed pattern so it shoots in a box
Why do some guns sound different when you’re next to someone that using them, and in killcams, for example the g36c sounds a lot different/better in killcams and when someone else is using it, than when you are using it
