    Came here to say that I love your nails! Sweet wheels, too. Your MINI JCW Clubman review also further inspired me to want one on a side note. 👀

    Hello Kaori,
    really enjoyed your honest review on this car.
    I would be interested on getting to know your opninion in terms of repairs for a daily drive.
    - it easy to find pieces/parts at the local dealership ?
    Obviously, I have fine with having repairs here and there.. but this is an issue if part are hard to find and it takes me 4-8 weeks of repairs each time...
    Thank you again for this video
    Sebastien

      Hey Sebastien! Thanks for commenting. I've owned this Skyline in the US for about 6 months now and I have had to do some maintenance and repairs. I've done a timing belt, water pump, thermostat, coolant sensors, replaced the driveshaft and driveshaft seal, and a couple other little things here and there. I must say it's not as bad as some may think, this car shares lots of parts with the 240sx/S13 and 300ZX. The few parts that were specific to the Skyline I either got on a local marketplace, or an aftermarket replacement online, which was stored in the US. No long wait times yet! Hope this helps!

      @@kaoriisdriving Hello Kaori,
      Really appreciate the thorough answer . This gives me a better idea on what to expect.
      On another note, I have to say that I am not that much of a car enthusiast but I really enjoyed watching some video of your channel. I like the pace of the video and the honest review :)
      But yeah, it is extremely competitive niche that you are on :) have to find a unique angle.
      Take care Kaori,

    • @kaoriisdriving
      @kaoriisdriving  6 месяцев назад

      So yes! The backseats are actually pretty good. Leg room could be better, but head room and getting in (rear doors) are way better than an frs. In my skyline (rb20det, rwd 5spd) I was averaging 21mpg combined

    This car looks cleeeeaaan as fuck, perfectly holding the line between generic sedan and sports car. The basic skylines look fairly awful though, so bad I haven’t even found any video about one. But it’s a Nissan so you get what you expect.

    i’m looking into buying a GTS but i don’t kno bc i’ve heard parts are rarer then rare, i want to use it as a daily but my friend says that i might as well find another car that’s easier to get parts, i’ve also heard that their hard to work on, what do you think?

    • @kaoriisdriving
      @kaoriisdriving  6 месяцев назад

      From first hand experience- mechanical parts, relatively easy to find locally and online as well. I’ve done some repairs and maintenance on mine without having to order anything, all of it’s been from like a 240 or 300zx. The rare parts are body and interior parts, that’s all. It’s a very reliable car and I daily drove mine for almost a year. But I would be devastated if I got into an accident in it, so I wouldn’t really daily drive one if you commute far for work. Also pretty damn easy to work on. Easier than a mini cooper lol. Easier than an RSX too
