    Man this video was amazingly peaceful/quietens I love how you filmed everything, the countryside and I would mind to own a gts-4 at all 😅🐢

    I disagree with your thought on the rb20 sucks. Had mine tuned, injectors, bigger turbo, and had alot of fun with it.

    • @tkgtcars
      @tkgtcars  Год назад +3

      Never said that the RB20 sucks; I love the RB20! I just think it's not a good "tuner" engine compared to the 25 and 26, thinking about the time and money you'd put into it versus the gains you'd get. Of course, if it's what you've got, tuning any engine can be fun.

      Noneofyabusiness does have a point. You did say you would be absolutely 100% disappointed by throwing on a big turbo etc and it feels like it’s wafting down the road with a gentle puff of air from the turbo… it’s not really singing it’s praises.
      I think the RB20 sounds awesome when it’s opened up and modified, just needs to be revved hard, not as strong as a 25 or 26 down low, granted, but I don’t think it’s as bad as you make out.
      But yeah, as Clint Eastwood said, opinions are like @$$holes, everyone has one and you are entitled to yours

      @@ceajae3654 As I also say in the video, the RB20's appeal for me is in it's smoothness and linearity, not it's power potential. I kind of wanted to say "it's like a rotary, but good" but figured that would upset too many people, lol. -Ken

      @@tkgtcars with todays prices of 25 and 26s the 20s make a great tuner engine, you really did the 20 dirty on this vid. I am disappointed. Don't even know if the Rb20det Motor Enthusiasts community on FB would like this at all.

      Utterly disappointed. Just misinformation spread none stop. At least it helps keep the price for 20s low, keep it up.

    I currently own a gts4 which was swapped with an rb26 and I tell you what it’s great exactly the same as a gtr for less the half the cost of buying a real one

    From my perspective a gts4 and gtr are all the same, but the big difference is the chassis rails in a gts4 factory/remade to fit the front axle shafts

    I wish they made these with aluminium block, aluminium front subframe & aluminium control arms (like mk4 supra), aluminium hoods, front fenders, doors and roofs. Oh and battery in the boot!
    Bonus round wish is that these looked like a cross between what they do already and late model FC RX7's i.e. with fastback in particular.
    Lost wish deluxe edition: option for digital gauge cluster & T-top :3

    GTST had a different R&P, 4.30 vs 4.11. metal tank instead of plastic. GTR has a clutch diff while the GTST has a VLSD. Then obviously seats, cluster, grill, headlights, hood, fenders, quarters, wing, skirts, wheels. Transmission appear the same but do hBe different parts numbers.

    RB20 isn't a drift car engine? meanwhile one of the most popular engine for people that wanted a super reliable engine for drifting.

    Ahhhh complete bullshit the rb25 is probably less reliable then the rb20 and you can most definitely strap turbos on the side of them and they'll go absolutely nuts with the right fueling system and what not 😂they known as gods motor in NZ and everyone straps turbos on the side to them here
