not as much as the transient response of the turbo 32 holds boost through the shift 34 loses most of it... u can tell because everytime the 34 shifted the 32 would get a little farther ahead

I really enjoy the 'car battle' style of the last couple videos... that would be an awesome concept for a series. Invite out drivers you trust, and based on their experience have them choose a car ~50HP of eachother and run it.

cant even believe i need to address this...we built this car and it had 1 minute of run time before it left for vegas. we didnt get to do our normal bolt checks etc after a few miles. with that being said. a fender liner ripping off is unfortunate but these are 30 year old plastic pieces that they no longer produce. if it was compromised in ANY way 140mph pulls will show that. the only other thing falling off being the grille which once again 30 year old grill clips lose their strength and while unfortunate not the end of the world. love seeing these two race and stoked the r32 won!

I'm impressed with the continuity between runway and shop stuff.
The R34 really needs a single and like 200 more horsepower. With the V-cam 800hp would feel wild. Maybe even a 2.8 to square the engine up and more responsive engine is never a bad thing.
I don't think he ever intended for the R34 to be super fast and built to hell. It's just an OEM+ build to keep the cars value high
@@chrissears5482 I get that but Adam has said the same dislikes since the car has been done. I was just saying the obvious. Single Turbo would help with that transient lag between shifts, 2.8 would help with a little more rpm and better response.

Looks like they could both be built better. You could put the 34 powertrain in the 32 and it would be even faster, or just build the 28 with higher compression and a newer turbo. The 32 is just lighter, so has higher performance ceiling. That doesn't mean I wouldn't prefer to drive a 34 around on the street though.

As a fan that’s watched you since the BMX days it’s kinda disappointing to see more of this type of stuff posted to your IG than FD stuff DURING FD events. Chelsea and JD had a TON of content from FD and you had 5ish posts. We want to experience it with you. Failing to share the same type of photos and video they do leaves us hanging. We get you’re burnt out on FD but we want to be there with you. Chelsea and JD shared 20+ photos on their story from what looked liked Larry’s work. Don’t see why you can’t keep us all involved like they do.

Say what you want about Tommy but, he did make a fast car. That r32 beast the inconic r34 with the same power. Yeah the 34 can go single, and make 150-200hp more. Although, bigger turbo the on the 32 making the same, still gonna win.
Is the torque difference anything to do with the twin turbo rather than single turbo?

Probably unpopular opinion here, but if I was given the choice to choose between taking either the 32 or the 34, and while I absolutely love the look of the 34 and all the additions you've done to it(similar to what I myself would do if I had the money lol), I still think I'd choose the 32.... the only thing I don't care for on the 32 is the color, but I'd take it lol.....if it was white or bright red like that one you gave away, definitely, but never cared for this shade of red.

I mean stock for stock the R34 is much faster. You can't really compare them with different engine builds. Sure the R34 has 10 more hp, but the R32 weighs 300 pounds less and the way its built it never loses boost in shifts

The R33 is my favorite Skyline GT-R, and possibly my favorite Japanese car. Everyone else likes the R34 and R32.
Love seeing Johan get to rip the R34 with some aggression after all those hours dedicated to it. And wow, is that R32 fast, even with that journal bearing HKS turbo. That'll be a monster when he gets a Garrett G series on there.
